It felt like his room was a revolving door. Likely they were taking shifts watching him, but Aelius honestly just wanted to be alone for awhile. With so many of them peppered around the building where exactly did they expect him to go? Not to mention, how were they expecting him to go anywhere tied up as he was?

As the door opened and another walked in Aelius found himself staring at the senshi in front of him. Such a yellow pallor and contrasting blue hair. There was…a lot of take in, and more and more became apparent as the senshi moved further into the meager glow of the camp light. He could only assume they were one of those alien senshi. Deep space, if he remembered right? Honestly he wasn’t trusting his memory recall all that much at this point. But he had heard about them before if never been up close and personal with any.

They were a very obvious, non-Earth native.

Aelius rocked back on his a** a bit to help alleviate the tingling sensation that was growing in his muscles from sitting for so long. He could have moved to lay on his side, but that was too vulnerable of a position for him to stomach considering the amount of Order in the house. So, he suffered through doing the best he could to tend to himself.

“You’re turn to guard me now?” Might as well try and find out why people were filtering through. Plus, he was mildly curious to hear if this senshi sounded human or not. At this point, beyond attempting to sleep, it was little things that kept his mind active.

With a snort, Grieve squatted low to be slightly closer to eye level, "Like you ********' need one?" With a grin she added, "Better to just cut off a limb or two, yeah?"

He looked like a limp pile of clothes and bruises. Pretty hair, though. She could make use of something like that. Wasn't why she was here, but that didn't mean she couldn't covet what could be some quality craft supplies. Holding up her hands in a gesture of reassurance that didn't suit her expression in the least, Grieve went on, "I'm just here to chat while the thinking sorts do their thinking and the feeling sorts do their ********' feelings." Basically, she was waiting for the action.

"What's your world and sphere? Been around awhile, maybe I knew a version of you once."

"I am a bit partial to all of my limbs." He responded, golden eyes warily watching the unknown senshi. He wasn't sure what to expect with this one and so remained wary of her.

"Thinking sorts." He snorted at that. "Right." Honestly, if he had been the one to take a captive and said captive ran out of use, Aelius wouldn't have thought twice of taking yet another starseed. The only thing that he could offer at this point was a source of information and possible hostage. Well....he was a hostage he supposed. One with a direct connection to a General King, even if that connection was a shaky one.

He raised a brow at the question. "Don't feel like telling you." He shrugged. "I don't really care about any other versions of myself. They're dead and gone and not giving me any insight at this point." The dead worlds and past lives held such little interest to Aelius. Just a bare curiosity existed, but it wasn't enough to humor a conversation with an order, alien senshi.

"Why not go waste your time with one of your own sort?" Aelius was prickly in his exhaustion. He was over it all and didn't feel like being a novelty for some other-world being.

She flicked his forehead in a motion that looked casual, but there was a precision to it that would leave his head with a new, sharp ache. "But why not waste time here? If you acted softer, prettier, you'd make 'em question themselves more. You trying to make it more satisfying to beat the s**t 'outta you?"

Long fingers reached out for him again, but this time flashing toward his hair. "It takes at least five years to grow a new you, and maybe that little s**t will say he doesn't care about whoever the ******** you were." She gave a low, croak of a laugh and twirled his hair. "Wouldn't be very nice memories, huh? All broken and ******** up on chaos, even before Cybele's squire and a ******** Earth knight took you down."

Another laugh, "How's it feel, anyway? That sticky sweet ichor winding through your power, poisoning everything unlucky enough to know you. Has it made you hungry yet?"

The motion was so simple. Almost sibling-esque in how casual it was, but the pain that panged through his skull like a needle had been inserted in his brain. He hissed, flinching at the sharp pain.

"Gods damn it. That was ******** unnecessary." His brows furrowed as a throb settled itself in the wake of the initial pain.

"Acting the innocent and confused got me nothing worthwhile." In fact, it had earned him a very painful hit to the very sensitive part of himself. ******** Squire. The memory of the pain was still vivid and he was pretty damn certain he was bruised from the encounter. Hard to determine though when you're given 0 privacy to take the time to check..

Aelius jerked back when those long, yellow fingers reached out, but she was quick and grabbed hold of his hair. That hadn't been where he thought she had been reaching, but now he felt even more restrained as she sank her fingers into purple locks. "What..."

Her phrasing confused him for a moment as he let it process. The continuined pounding in his head wasn't helping him either. Was she talking about killing him and his potential next life? "Won't matter to me if they did or didn't, would it?" He pulled his head back in an attempt to pull his hair from her grasp as she played with it. It was disconcerting to have her so close. "I am not living my life for some figurative future self. I don't owe them anything."

But she still kept on it. "Hungry? Hungry for what besides the quick death of each order person here in this god damned house?"

Spindly fingers fully gripped at his hair, not quite pulling, but passively giving him a new way to struggle and hurt himself. "Can't say I'm good at playing soft myself, but I know the tricks. Wouldn't be good if I knew you?" Her other hand came up to idly poke at his cheek. "If it made me see you as someone to like, 'stead of just another unlucky piece of s**t? Or leverage your future, act like you're thinking maybe you'll purify."

And then she was pulling at his cheek, "Maybe cry a little you stupid ********> Grieve toyed with the broken boy like he was some cast-off doll. Unloved and no longer cherished, but still whole enough to play with.

"No, venit," because he reminded her of that vibrant little bird, a hunter of its own kind, quick to die once caged. "When you hunger for our long deaths. For our spectacular splashes across the walls, your teeth in our necks, and the loving approval of something that only wants to eat you in turn. Or..."

She paused, and then her smile grew, wide and jagged, "Are you hungry for a snack?" Letting go of his cheek, Grieve moved to grip his jaw. There was a pressure in those fingers that suggested he may not have a choice.

He felt those finger curl and tighten. The hair on his scalp pulling taught as he tried to move his head away. The senshi wasn't going to allow him to create any space for himself from her and Aelius's heart picked up a pace at that knowledge. The alien seemed...oddly pleased with whatever game she was playing with Aelius and that was unnerving. Aelius couldn't get a read on what direction this 'conversation' was going.

Said conversation turned into him becoming nothing more than a plaything for her. She prodded at his bruised face, bringing more pain and a hiss at the feeling. Maybe not the cry she wanted, but he was clearly hurting. He again pulled away, but out of instinct only to have his retreat stopped by her grip. What the hell was with these order women and holding his head?

"Would you want to join the side that is holding you captive and interrogating you? What side is the good side, then?" He took advantage of her grip then to rest a bit of the weight of his head against her hand. A bit of relief for his poor aching skull.

He just listened as she spoke about...whatever the hell a venit was. Some creature she knew. Maybe from her homeworld? It didn't matter. He had no interest in commenting on the ramblings. Let her amuse herself with whatever memory came to her, it meant she wasn't interested in him.

Except the story was a preamble. Her grip changed. The way she shifted and that smile... "No." He didn't what whatever it was she had. But she squeeze his jaw with obvious intent. Aelius attempted to push away. It required him to stretch out his legs, lowering his torso with them to accommodate his restraints. It was so incredibly awkward and not at all effective with a lack of strength. "I dont. Want. 'nything" He said through a clenched jaw.

"Venit," Grieve crooned again, her voice uglier for the gentleness. "You do. You'll always be wanting." Untangling her grip on his hair, she reached into the aether, into the space between spaces, and pulled out something.

"Chaos just loves to ********' eat and eat. It'll eat at you, and it'll have you eating at yourself. Maybe if you learn to cry a little, you'll live to ********' see it." The grip on his jaw tightened, making it more and more painful to keep his mouth clenched closed. An acrid, wet smell neared his face.

"My world was already a shithole when chaos took over. People almost didn't notice, all us little wretches were always starving right? But then, turned out, nobody was ever full either. And was it even food if it wasn't screaming?"

With a sigh, something was pressed hard against Aelius's teeth. Something furry and wet with cold blood. "Still fresh, venit. No worries." Caught just that morning, in Kiyoshi's yard, a rat of the gardens and not of the streets. A genuine kindness of sorts.

The senshi went on in her jovial, kind tone that gave Aelius the impression that it was anything but kind. ********, it could be the look of a psychopath with how calm and content she looked as she continued to talk about chaos and its constant hunger and need to consume.

She was obviously engrossed in whatever she intended to do as she spoke about her home that was supposedly overtaken. A shithole that fell even further. It didn’t seem like a far fetched descent to ruin for a place already struggling. Chaos sounded like an easy scapegoat for what was likely poor economics and government.

He felt her hand leave his hair. He felt a brief moment of relief before her grip tightened even more on his jaw. The bite of nails and thin fingers pressed hard into the muscles of his face. Her intent clear. He began to wonder if perhaps he should just let her win. Let her open his mouth and be done with it.

A faint acrid smell fills his senses. It takes a breath. Two. Then he realizes what it is. He had no idea the source though. Not until those fingers pinched even harder and something small but fur covered brushed his lips and pressed hard against his teeth.

By this point his heart was pounding. He attempted to shake his head, but her restraint of him made it only small jerky motions. Eyes began to water as he vocalized his extreme disinterest for whatever it was she was trying to feed him. The coldness of whatever it was told him it had been dead at least a few hours. “Muh MUH UH” Was all he could get out in his attempt to keep his jaw closed.

But a powered person had strength over him. The senshi’s persistence began to make ground as Aelius found it harder and harder to keep his mouth closed. It wasn’t long before he could feel that fur against the tip of his tongue.

The smile never left Grieve's face, calm despite the violence of her hands. Punishing fingers forced his mouth open, grinding the furry body against his teeth and tongue until there was a snap of delicate bone. "Bite down, then chew around the crunchy bits," the ghoulish senshi instructed, as if he might not remember how to eat. "If you spit it out, I'll get mad."

Aelius gagged. He could feel the bile in his throat, but with his mouth forcefully stuffed with the carcas of some furred creature, it had no where else to go except to burn his throat. It wasn't much. He didn't have anything left in his stomach. Food haddn't been a top priority for him. Just meager bits to keep him going. That was his only blessing.

But struggled against the senshi. Legs and arms moving in an attempt to force her away.

He didn't hear her. Not really.

He tried with all of his might to force the thing from his mouth. The last damn thing he was going to do was chew on the small creature in his mouth.

Again his stomach rebelled and he retched against her eforts, tears no dripping from his eyes and down his cheeks.

Forceful and insistent as the boy retched in the face of her generosity, it wasn't a brief or easy struggle. Even after she eased up with a frown and pulled the thing away, the feel and taste of it lingered. Nails biting further into his cheeks, Grieve looked down at him as if looking at her own dinner. Something small and scurrying, a bit of vermin no one could possibly miss.

And then her grip softened once more, cupping his cheek and wiping a tear away with a thumb. "See? All you gotta do is cry a little." With her free hand, she brought up the fairly wretched remains of the rat and took a casual bite. Studying Aelius as she chewed, Grieve gave a small nod and swallowed.

"Understand?"

If he didn't...she was willing to start the lesson again. They probably still had some time for it.

Thank whatever ******** gods existed. He heaved a deep breath. Gasping with the removal of his forced ‘snack’. The bite of her nails in his skin couldn’t ruin the relief that washed over him.

The taste lingered. Something he never wanted to taste again. His mind, the traitor that it was, continued to haunt him with the imagery of what it may have been like had he been forced to chew upon that carcas. A carcass that he was clearly able to see was none other than a rat.

He didn’t even want to close his mouth. He wanted water to rinse it out. To try and forget the taste, the feeling of the rodent that he’d nearly been forced to ingest.

Maybe not worse, but he now was staring at the blue-haired woman as she began dining on the rat herself.

He never thought he’d be so happy that his stomach was empty.

But he nodded in response to her question as he breathed heavily. Catching his breath and trying to create enough saliva in an attempt to spit out the lingering taste and hair. “Yes.” He said. Tears beginning to dry up leaving only the remnants left on his cheeks.

"What a good boy." The half eaten rat vanished back into her space, and Grieve stood up, wiping her hands off on her uniform. The gesture left bits of remains and a streak of his spit across her skirt, but the senshi clearly didn't mind it all too much. "If you survive, remember to cry when you should."

Before leaving, she bent down and gently placed something beside him. "And to eat when you're hungry." A second rat, whole and untouched. Waiting upon necessity.

He couldn't hold it back anymore. When she finally stepped up and away from him he turned his head to spot out the collected saliva along with whatever bits of the rays were left behind. He sputtered a few times, trying to make sure his tongue and teeth were free of any fur.

He sat there sucking in breath, his hair falling over his face as he stared at the ground. His tongue rolling around in his mouth to make sure he was clear. He didn't move. Not until she stepped toward him again and he flinched away.

Like a mangy feline, she left him a 'present'.

His stomach lurched again.
