As the year comes to an end, an abnormal cold snap has taken over Tendaji. The mountains of Zena are covered in a blizzard, and even the desert of Oba is feeling a bit of an abnormal chill.

[ What do you get up to during the cold? Do you find a place to warm up, or check up on a friend? ]

He had awoken too an odd chill in the air, like the god of the deep decided to share the freezing cold temperatures of the depths with absolutely every body that day. It was odd for where he was to get this chilly but he put on a few extra layers and his poncho.

His eyes widened in concern as he thought of his fellow Matorian friend Neryssa. How was she faring in this abominable cold? He should go check on her, maybe they could have tea at one of the tea houses, or coffee. Something warm anyway. This was not normal, and he wondered at the cause. Maybe an unusually strong draft coming down from Zena. He had heard that they were getting the brunt of the cold from folks chatting as he searched for his friend.

He spotted her just leaving a fruit stand. He called out to her and bought a few fruit himself.

"Good day Neryssa, I came to check on how you were holding up in this cold, this is not normal for here so I have heard. Would you care for a hot beverage to warm up? I think wrapping my hands around a warm cup at the moment would be very nice indeed. He was long limbed and shed heat pretty good unfortunately. "And maybe I will buy a cloak, the poncho isn't covering it."

He inclined his head in agreement. "Yes soup and tea sound mighty good to me about now. I wonder what sort of crackers they usually have here." His mind was firmly on food and being warmer. "You do look a bit chilled, would you like to borrow my poncho?" He was comfortable enough he had a fast metabolism but it was better to have and not need after all. Besides that wind meant business.

"And here I thought I'd be safe from the northern wind, I think its laughing at me." Soup, soup, soup, barley scorra soup..yum. Egg drop soup..noodles..the possibilities were endless. And tea...he loved tea. He especially liked the vanilla style stuff from here, it was so rich and creamy. Kahikinia had a lot to offer spice wise he was excited to find.

"Do you know of a good tea house by chance?" He was open to suggestiongs.

"That sounds more than lovely." The wind was biting and he craved hot liquid. Besides if she wanted to try a place it was probably pretty nice and it would be a first experience for them both which would be pretty special. He adored trying new things, new food and new places. All the better with a partner in crime. She had proven herself with their dance night and he knew that wherever she went a good time was sure to follow and follow he would. "Ooh that honey tea sounds really good, I will give that a try."

She was also apparently warmer blooded than he. He loved the heat and sun. Though he also liked to be close to the water for cool off owing to his somewhat amphibious nature. His people were slightly closer associated to water than the Aishans or Earthlings with their less breathable skins. He didn't feel right if he wasn't well moisturized.

"Neat name! Fable huh.. is that their theme or do they also offer books for sale?"
