It, the house, resided in a run down section of the city where many houses showed the decay of years of neglect. Most are obviously vacant and ignored by the city. Sure, a few had people in them which was evident by the glow of a light or an attempt to pretty up the sad home with flowers or decor out front. Squatters also found refuge in many of the buildings here.

The house chosen sat next to the rubble of a building that had succumbed to time with others around it very clearly derelict. There was no one around to notice the coming and goings of people, and even if they did, people here knew how to mind their own business for their own health.

The first floor windows were gone. The glass left shattered both in and out. Old wooden floors were fairly sound if one kept their distance from the open panes. A dark blue velour couch, weathered, stained and broken sat in the living room just past the entrance. The only piece left on the main floor. Even the kitchen was bare. Ransacked likely for anything of value.

The second floor was where voices and movement could be heard. Two rooms were lit. The room at the back of the house is where voices could be heard from. Hy-Brasil, a Knight of Earth and Celadon, a Squire of Cybele carefully are positioned to guard their prize who lay battered, bleeding and hog-tied on the ground with zip-ties. It’s hard to tell the exact depth of injuries the captive has as the room is lit with only a single electric camping light.

In Game Date: December 19th
OOC Length: The thread will be open until December 30th

There are many ways your character could have heard about this. Either directly from Hy or Celadon if they know them or through the grape vine. I am fine with people stretching things a bit if they really want to have their character involved. Just saying they ‘heard’ about it and came is enough if you can justify it for yourself.

Things to note:
This RP will lead into a fight If you do not want a character to be involved in that part, you can have your character leave before they are found out. There will be a clear definition on when the chatting is over and the fight will begin.
This RP is to discuss what they are going to do with Aelius at this point.
Any side RP’s that happen with Aelius and/or Hy need to occur before or during this ORP. There will be a point that either or both can be separated and it’s assumed that’s when individual RP’s happen
This group RP will take place over a few hours on December 19th into the 20th.

If you have any specific wants, requests, or questions please feel free to DM me on Gaia or in discord (username: Soyala). Discord will likely get you a faster response especially if I am at work as I check that fairly regularly (I work 6pm-4:30am EST).

Aelius is also open for small group or individual RP’s (These will take place either BEFORE or DURING this RP). I just ask you have an idea of what you want to accomplish (or attempt to accomplish) in the RP. If you need help on this, please DM me on discord or Gaia and we can discuss! I am very open to a lot of things and am happy to help figure things out!

He was exhausted, hurt and aching. A cold that wouldn’t go away sat deep in his bones. The blanket they allotted him doing little to help. The way he sat, hunched over, elbows supporting himself against his thighs was the only relief he got with hands and ankles bound to one another. The zip-ties utilized to restrain him had done a number on his wrists the past two nights in his attempts to get free. Now, just moving too much caused pain to radiate from the wounds on his abused skin.

Still, as people began to come in, Aelius shot them all dark looks. It was no question now that Aelius was Heliodor. He’d finally given up on playing the two women when it became apparent he wasn’t going to be let free. There was nothing to garner in continuing on the charade.

Seeing so many Order in one room with him and being helpless without his henshin pen was…well, it made him feel extremely vulnerable. Vulnerable and angry. His disdain for each person that entered, whether he recognized them or not, was evident even beyond the dark circles under his eyes and hunched figure.

Hy-Brasil sat positioned on the one only fully in tact stool in the room. Her focus was on their dear ‘guest’ who sat on the ground hands and ankles bound together and connected. Perhaps not the most comfortable position, but they had needed to change it up to keep circulation moving. Plus, it was a more amenable position for others to see him in. He still wore the same clothing he’d been captured in, sweat pants, sweatshirt and a coat, but a blanket had been draped over his shoulders as a precaution against the cold nights.

As people began filtering in, Hy turned her attention from Drayson to Celadon. She gave the girl a raised brow, curious in how the young woman was feeling about the attention they were about to garner. Not that she could ask now, of course. The Knight had confidence in Celadon though. The girl had shown a lot of resilience throughout all of this, even despite her hesitancy when Hy-Brasil had first come to her.

“I am sure you all have questions.” Hy said finally, turning her gaze to those gathering. “We can start there.”

It was easier for Celadon to let Hy-Brasil do the talking. She did the work to find him out, after all. Celadon just helped bring him here.

She had an idea that this meeting might not be well-received by their allies. It wasn't like she met many of them, or even most of them, during her time in Destiny City. And if she couldn't name more than a handful of people, Celadon figured she was far from being able to predict how the majority would take this stunt. It was better for her to prepare for the outcomes she could predict.

Hy-Brasil addressed those gathered. Celadon decided she would attend Aelius, which allowed her to keep a close eye on him while others were distracted.

From one of the grimy counters, she grabbed a couple packs of gauze and a bottle of sterile water for irrigation. She summoned from her strange little interdimensional pocket a clean bowl, then set it about a foot away from Aelius. She sterilized her hands with a glob of hand sanitizer, then poured the water into the bowl and opened one of the gauze packs for a thick square to dab into the water. She sat, then, and dabbed away some of the blood, scabbing, and loose skin that collected around his wrists and ankles. While she did so, she checked the zip ties for their tightness. So far, they held.

They'd kept him for a while, now. They weren't feeding him particularly well, nor were they letting him get any exercise. Enough hours had passed that infection was becoming a possibility to look out for. Having smuggled one of the forehead readers from home, she checked his temperature with it.

"Are we skinning him?" Tall and rangey, Grieve leaned against a wall, arms crossed and every bit of judgement clear on her face. "If we're gonna be posting him up as an example," clearly the only reason to keep him on Earth, "...should strip off some skin. But some of it should be made fancy, right? I could do some gold work on his ribs. People don't always remember the gore, but they never forget some ********' gold."

Despite the critical glint in her eye, there wasn't much anger at any of the people or the situation itself, not even directed at the boy on the ground. And what enthusiasm there was had a distinctly professional edge. Grieve was interested in seeing what these Earth born senshi and knights were planning to do and how. Even willing to offer a little help for free.

But just a little.

A Deep Space Senshi that Hy had never met before was the first to arrive and drop in her own two cents on the matter at hand. The more crude, if creative, manners of those who have lived a life much longer than her own were a bit shocking. While she wasn't opposed to an untimely demise of the man, the thought of skinning him alive was a bit...much.

"That's certainly a creative way to deal with our little problem." She said carefully, eyes shifting to Drayson who Celadon had begun to tend to like a dutiful nurse. "We can keep that in mind, but I'd like to hear from some others when they arrive."

A toe tapped on the ground. "Perhaps we could come up with another unique way to send a message to his team and dear General King. Something that would make a poignant point without his death." She paused. "For now. After all, he may decide to purify."

She shrugged as she turned her gaze back to their new friend. "I've not presented it to him yet."

"We haven't met before." Hy said with a smile. "I am Hy-Brasil, of Earth."

Mauvian Illyria

If there had to be one benefit to slinking around in her feline form, it was that she could sneak around with minimal risk of being detected. Ideally Illyria hadn't really planned on making a pit stop at all that night. She'd returned from Ida with a plan to do an easy geocache find before heading home but the sense of order-aligned auras pinging off her internal radar meant that possibly there were new senshi and knights to meet. The deciding factor was just how close it seemed she already was to the destination. Staring off in the direction that she was meant to be travelling in, Illyria hesitated; before guiding her paws to take her in the direction in which the auras were congregated.

This, though, ended up being completely strange. The sense of powered folk for Order was coming from a building that was definitely not one in which the Mauvian would have assumed a meetup of some sort was taking place. Her violet orbs took in the state of disarray from the next door building before she edged closer to the clearly dilapidated dwelling. The windows, glass shattered, would make the best point of egress for her feline self and it wouldn't at all look suspicious if a cat chose to hunker down in an abandoned house for the night.

Illyria's steps were silent as soon as she had landed inside and her ears twitched back and forth before her gaze shot to the ceiling above. Movement and voices: this meant that people were indeed on the second level. Finding the stairs the small Mauvian made her ascent. Her nose was working overtime, sifting through the various odors that she was picking up on before one blindsided her: fear.

Why was fear present? If this was truly just a gathering of order folk, what was there to fear?

Now she could not be stopped. Illyria's paws carried her to the doorway in which voices came from before she merely slipped inside. The sight of a young man, bound on the floor, gave Illyria pause. Well, that would explain the fear. It began to all make sense to the Mauvian on what she'd stumbled across. The picture was completed as an unknown knight made mention of trying to send a message to a General-King and the man's team. There was a perceptive widening of her eyes before she peered at the seated knight.

"Wouldn't one have to be willing to purify in the first place? From what I've experienced, having free choice is sort of a big deal."

Kinsey was still trying to get his head wrapped about this magic thing, it wasn't something he knew a thing about even, he wasn't even sure what had happened that night. This was why he'd decided it was safe to donn the weird, and overly formal, outfit he'd not worn since that first night far away from other people. It was late at night, so fewer chances of running into people or being seen, and in this run down part of town he was certain no one would spot him and anyone who did would hopefully keep away from him. He needed the time, without anyone interrupting, to figure this out. It might be good if someone else, whoever that would be, would help him and explain things to him and while Kinsey might agree with it he wasn't going to seek out help in whatever form it may come. He was not looking to socialize with people, which included getting help from others.

That said he still couldn’t help it when he spotted someone oddly dressed, similar enough to himself to assume they were like him, heading into a derelict home and slowly he followed. Cautious, and keeping his steps as slow and deliberate, walking on tip toes as best he could, Kinsey followed after them as he entered the home. What was going on? He could hear noise, but what was going on he wans't sure, thankfully he was good at keeping silent and mostly unnoticed.

Soon enough he had some sort of an answer....well not really, he just saw several people and something going on in the room. What was going on he didn't know, but it seemed serious.

Gold eyes watched as the Cybele Knight began to fuss with him like he was some child in need of extra care and tenderness. Funny, considering the circumstances and conditions he'd been kept in.

Was he angry about it? No. Aelius wasn't an idiot and knew his raw and open wrists and ankles were in need of some care. Getting an infection wouldn't help him, but despite the girl's attempts of staying clean, his surroundings were anything but.

She checked his restraints. A constant habit between the two of them. Can't have their prize getting away. If they had opted for cheap ties, Aelius might have managed to get loose, but the thick, heavy weight of the ones wrapped around his appendages and secured together hadn't failed against any of his attempts.

His attention was pulled to the group when one of the arrivals mentioned skinning him. Brows furrowed as he looked to the yellow skinned, blue-haired being. That suggestion wasn't one he'd have expected to come from anyone order aligned.

Then again, he never would have thought a Knight and Squire would capture a civilian and hold him hostage, while torturing him for information. So he really shouldn't be surprised by anything anymore.

Hy-Brasil was quick to turn that idea down.

"The mauvian is about the only smart one here." He grumbled out as the feline dropped her own two cents.

Hy-Brasil turned to the mauvian that decided to make an appearance. Drayson's comment was purposely ignored as she smiled warmly at their feline guest. "Hmm, yes. It does. But perhaps learning about the pros of it, along with what we may be able to offer him should he decide to purify could help sway his decision.

"Sometimes, all someone needs to feel is supported in their decision. After all, maybe Mr. Drayson here has been contemplating the idea of purifying? Or perhaps, he's one of the ones who has never known it was an option?"

Hy couldn't help but internally hope that Aelius wanted to purify. Or could be seduced into it. The possible blow to Faustite that could make...

It honeslty may be even better than any other options for the young man. Cause as it stood right now, it seemed they had at least one spicy person here who was willing to jump in deep.

Movement just outside of the room caught the Earth Knight's attention. She looked out into the darkness catching the sight of a page. "Come inside. No need to hide outside."

Super Sailor Róka Super Sailor "Harper"
[Róka is using their personal item the Abyssal Collar, which grants them a second glamour -- like normal glamours, this is almost impossible to connect to their normal self unless you're told or see them turn it on/off. Except maybe more, since they don't resemble or sound like Róka. That's the power of "having been a teenage assassin and having to learn subterfuge", baby.]

Róka, for their own intents and purposes, could not be involved in this. Certainly they would've liked to be! They did so enjoy a good hostage situation, and a pretty boy victim made it better, but -- well. For their own intents and purposes (which they were not willing to expand upon to anyone, but which primarily included 'not giving Faustite reason to think about me harder than he has to'), Róka could not participate in this; couldn't even hear about it.

Thankfully, nobody else in the Nameless was a bloody snitch, and they had an alternative glamour for these purposes. Their fellow mercenaries were a lot of things, but they hadn't gotten to where they'd been once by having loose lips; if Róka and the Hunter being unassociated individuals had been a capably-maintained fiction a thousand years ago, Róka and Harper could be two separate people now, just as long as nobody got too boozed up and started spreading it around. If they hadn't been Nameless, they couldn't be trusted with the knowledge, not for these purposes.

...not exactly for these specific purposes, mind you. But purposes (general). Harper couldn't get violent -- the glamour would break, revealing their real face --but they could observe, and commentate.

So they'd had Grieve introduce them as an associate of the Nameless. The name Harper, as always, was ambiguous enough; it might've been a nickname or a shortening of a real senshi name. It wasn't. And as the glamour had settled in this life, Harper was human: slender and fair-skinned with heavy-lidded black eyes, teal hair they'd pinned up under a pageboy hat, and an overall-teal fuku that only bore a thematic and passing resemblance to Róka's. The accent might have been Canadian, or ambiguously northeastern; something foreign but not too foreign.

"Even mauvians have some brains, once in a while," they said, pushing past the Page and hiking their thumb back towards that boy, tone judgmental, "but who invited the kid?"

Mauvian Illyria

Illyria wasn't one to have her fur easily ruffled but the comments from the captive and then the following comments from one of the newcomers to the room had her bristling just a little. One had been a back-handed compliment but it seemed the other had been, in her ears, a rather obvious dig against her species. But now was not the time to dissect things. Instead Illyria took in the various auras of the group before sighing. The fact that the Earth knight thought that an agent from the Negaverse would want to purify willingly after having things explained to them, well, it seemed like it could be a lost cause.

Her gaze watched as the squire tended to the captive's injured wrists. At least there seemed to be a little bit of compassion detected in Celadon's actions but the fact that both the squire and knight had abducted a chaos agent, while they were a civilian, meant that perhaps the compassion was merely an act.

"Is there a way to send a message without resorting to violence? Won't you just sink to the level of the Negaverse then?"

Illyria, by all means, wasn't a pacifist. She had fought tooth and claw many times to aid others, but this ... just seemed like the wrong approach. Her gaze took in the two senshi in the room, the page standing in the doorway and Drayson's captors before she gave a huff of pure resignation.

"I am not sure this was a wise idea by the way. Holding a meeting here, of all places. The presence of a large group of Order is going to attract attention unless you have a trick up your sleeve."

Padding back towards the open door did the Mauvian pause. Her voice was quiet as she departed, "I'm not promising to stick around if trouble arrives, but for now I will conceal your presence here."

Illyria just hoped that she wouldn't regret doing so.

"Grieve of ********' Grieve, babe." The alien senshi lifted her chin with a toothy smile. Earth knights weren't really her favorite flavor, but this one at least was having fun with it. Little kidnapping to liven up the Earth holiday season seemed pretty ********' festive to her. "So what, you wanna write a sad note to whatever the ******** chaos royal?" She rolled her eyes. "Gift them a lock of hair?" Modern knights were so soft.

Speaking of soft, here came a furry little a**-licker to tell them their business. All hoity-toity and talking about free will. ********' free will was a pretty, pristine bow placed delicately on top of the s**t stew of circumstances that made up a person's existence. It could be folded and molded into any ********' shape regardless of what someone really wanted. Of course, that sort of thing took more time, patience, and ability than she'd ever have, so Grieve kept her mouth shut.

Harper did too, mostly. Probably waiting for their to be enough rope dangling about for them to either just hang the guy or for the knights to hang themselves. The mauvian kept lecturing because that's what mauvian's did, give people more power and then ********' order them around on how to use it. Grieve found herself somewhat missing the well-larded sack of stink that was Faust.

Knight Halle of Lysithea

Halle came alone for this, didn't even tell Lisse about it. Hy and Celadon were people he trusted and had fought beside, but this wasn't a fight and wasn't something he wanted to expose his brother to. At least not right now, not if he didn't have to.

Halle didn't really have to come himself, either. But the situation touched on something of a long-exposed nerve that he'd never really dealt with. That moment, well over a year ago, where he'd decided he needed to capture and torture a chaos agent. That it was really his last and only resort. The determination had granted him more power, that thankfully he hadn't had to use beyond self-defense. But it felt like there was still a question inside of him that remained unanswered.

If he had to, what would have happened? Could he have handled it?

A question that might be answered tonight.

He followed silently behind a page who was entering the building, and as he caught up to him at the doorway, Halle noticed the Ganymede symbol. And at the unfamiliar teal senshi's words, that the other was young, probably around his own age. Making a decision, he tugged at the page's uniform and took the lead in entering. "If we're old enough to die in this fight, we're old enough for whatever you plan on doing here."

Despite his grimly serious tone, Halle offered Hy-Brasil and Celadon a crooked little grin. There were other familiar faces in the room, but they were the two he considered friends of a sort.

DSS Thalassa

Having both Pyrrhus and Troilus returned to his life, relatively whole and undeniably themselves, had mostly made Thalassa feel inclined to go out with others, when he felt like patrolling. After so much time spent on his own, thinking that one of the people who actually liked him might have died while he had, with his own words, irreparably broken things with the other? Thalassa didn’t much enjoy the idea of being on his own, without his friends. The option did, after all, finally exist to not be without his friends, so obviously……?

Except this, in turn, made Thalassa feel more inclined to scamper off on his own every so often. Whatever the deal was with this Terran winter holiday season, it meant that things back at Kaifeng and Helene’s home had been so……cheerful, with such an emphasis on togetherness and family and several other offensive, treacly concepts that made Thalassa want to retch in someone’s shoes. (Cats could apparently get away with that on Earth in the twenty-first century, but none of the Mauvians Thalassa had encountered so far had really seemed likely to take advantage of such benefits.)

Tonight, wandering on his own had brought him into a part of town that seemed far more interesting than the nice part where Helene and Kaifeng had made a home for themselves, their dog, and several wayward off-world refugees. Potentially more dangerous, several of the roofs looked pretty rickety and the pavement around here hadn’t been given the same level of upkeep as the streets around Helfeng’s place. But at the same time, Thalassa itched for some danger (and for literally anything that gave him a break from being so inundated by signifiers that indicated how any people cared about him, or cared what happened to him, or wanted to be around him and know what he was doing and <********, would it literally kill people to just let Thalassa ******** breathe).

(No one had actually done anything to earn such a reaction from him, and on some level, Thalassa knew that? But by the time he felt the gathering of friendly magical auras, he’d come too far to want to go home until he’d gotten all of the eww, gross, stop touching me and caring at me and eww eww eww literally what the ******** is wrong with you people feelings out of his system.)

Fortunately, what he found at the end of the trail seemed perfectly crafted to give him that good release. A bunch of people all gathered together with a hostage, just like old times (and wow, did it do Thalassa’s heart good to see some of these children dressed up as Knights and senshi honoring their forebears by getting their hands dirty instead of grandstanding about doing the most possible good in the world or whatever). Of course, not everyone here was a child.… Grieve from the Nameless was here—old enemies of Pyrrhus, Thalassa, and Troilus’s little operation, but as Thalassa leaned against a wall opposite Grieve, he supposed it made sense that she’d survived this long.

(Dimly, he noted that one of the Knights—some Squire or other in green and antlers [Celadon]—distinctly didn’t belong to any Knight faction Thalassa recognized. Although he could pick out that the bow and arrow design was meant to be a symbol, he couldn’t think of whom it belonged to or which planet might have housed the girl’s Wonder. Eugh, youths, with their newfangled Knight factions as though there hadn’t been enough of them before. Weird behavior, honestly.)

“Not children” only seemed to apply to Grieve, but that would do well enough, Thalassa guessed. While the Mauvian blathered about blah blah blah relative morality or whatever things, Thalassa dug around in his subspace for a snack he didn’t mind sharing. When he found the chocolate chip brownie that Kaifeng had wrapped up in “festive” red semi-transparent plastic, Thalassa whistled and waved at Grieve, then lobbed her the treat without explanation. Gift of truce? Maybe. Or perhaps just a way of appreciating that she meant he didn’t need to be the only space-freak here tonight, amongst a bunch of actual toddlers whose ancestors likely hadn’t even drawn breath during the heyday of Thalassa’s world.

“Counterpoint, Feline,” Thalassa drawled at the Mauvian, “why should we care about not sinking to the Negaverse’s level? If we do so, by your standards, then isn’t it on their heads because they opened the door by acting in the ways they do?”

Strictly speaking, Thalassa had acted more or less the same toward hostages during the Silver Millennium—give or take: 1. being skeletally thin instead of healthily fat and insulated against cold; and 2. binge-drinking like someone who hadn’t cared if he’d lived or died. He’d only gotten over that second thing after actually nearly dying the once. Similarly, he didn’t really care about the morality or lack thereof? Torturing hostages didn’t actually accomplish anything beyond being a good time and occasionally kind of funny; everybody knew that. But if the Mauvian wanted to talk morals or whatever bullshit she thought she was on about, then it seemed more advantageous to speak in her same language.
