Following immediately after Punch the Clock
Erinome had listened and taken the threat to heart from the scary corrupt that had nearly ripped his antennae off. Each night as he wandered for plans, he would make sure to quickly move by that open green space that they had caught him at. The first few nights had been quiet with nobody there which was a relief in part but he was still worried they might follow and bring harm to Ian or Xander’s family.
If he could try and keep on their good side long enough to figure something better out, then hopefully Ian would understand if he found out. It was risky but he would do what he could to keep others from getting hurt from his lack of knowledge of this planet and the vastly different form chaos seemed to take here.
The cold n** in the air tonight was different, white flakes floated down and he had “borrowed” one of Ian’s larger coats to put over his uniform while he was out. It hung much lower on him that it did on Ian but he enjoyed the dark-colored coat and held it closed as he wandered back to the clearing for his nightly check. Something sour seemed like it was nearby, leaving him more cautious as he peeked out into the clearing from behind one of the trees.
“H-hello?” Speaking up slightly above his normally quieter level of speech, he didn’t want to poke out more unless he knew if it was that same senshi or maybe another one. As long as it wasn’t the one who had shoved their hand through his back and grabbed his starseed.

Villon hated the fact that a ******** low ranked page managed to injure him, but it wasn't such a bad injury that he felt like checking into the hospital for a doctor. Instead, he went to the little spot he told the bug senshi about to see if he would stop by per their agreement. At first he thought the little thing wouldn't show up, but he felt an order signature nearing and soon enough the hello that followed it. Instead of standing he was sitting but could be seen from a distance.
“Well well….You can understand instructions little bug. A point in your favor.” He chuckled and raised his hand to make the come here motion. “It appears I am in need of healing…..Care to test those powers out on me?” It shouldn't be too hard, but he also remembered the little bug telling him that his powers were not the most reliable. This was fine since he could work with that.
—--------------------------------------------------
Seeing the long black hair and the bit of colored pattern on them, he carefully stepped out from behind the tree and wandered over. At least he could tell they were alone, but other than that he still wanted to keep just out of arm’s reach as he tucked his antennae into his hat.
Looking them over, he could see some bruises and scratches, maybe something wrong with their nose but he wasn’t too sure. Rubbing his hands together inside the mass of coat he was wearing, he nodded. “Can try.” Part of him wanted to know what happened because obviously someone had gotten a hit on this corrupt when he’d not been able to.
Sitting in the grass, just out of arm’s reach, he mumbled quietly to himself and held his hands out, opening them to let a few of those moths out. This time, they weren’t as bright, seeming to flicker and fade as they drifted lazily.
Blinking slightly, he shook his head and watched to see if they still helped even if something seemed off about them. At least this time he wasn’t as tired from it but he did feel frustrated that it wasn’t consistent each time he tried to use his magic. Was it because this was a corrupt? Or because he hadn’t gotten to go back home to try and fix things.
—--------------------------------------------------
Villon watched as the senshi struggled with his magic, the lazy little moths healing some minor things but nothing fully. “Might want to try again, bug.” He wasn't going to grab for his antenne but the little thing didn't need to know that. For now he was amused enough that he didn't feel the need to hurt. That could all change though.
—--------------------------------------------------
Flinching slightly at the nickname again, he still didn’t like hearing them say it. It wasn’t the same as when Ian said it but then again fluff was what they called him which he didn’t really get either. Scrunching his face as she thought what he could do differently to get it to work, he kept sort of an eye on the corrupt as he pulled his thermos out and took a sip.
The warm floral tea had enough honey in it that most other’s might feel like their teeth would rot from the sweetness of it but it didn’t bother him at all, in fact sipping at it eased his worries just a bit. Ian had helped him learn how to use the electric kettle to make tea to bring out with him for when he went out in the cold because he didn’t handle it very well.
Blinking and wondering he tilted his head as he thought. “Because cold maybe…?” Trailing off as he sipped more at his thermos to try and fight the chill he had since stepping out into the evening’s brisk air.
Rubbing his hands together after he set the thermos down in his lap, he pressed his warmed hand to his cheeks for a moment before trying again.
This time the moths were more like the usually were, fluttering and circling the senshi in front of him. It was a relief even if he felt the drain he normally did when using his magic. He fought a yawn, not wanting them to try something because he was tired.
—--------------------------------------------------
That head tilt caused his hand to twitch, but Villon looked away to still the need to just reach out and either grab his antennae, or crush him to death. Cute aggression was a b***h when you're corrupted apparently. He did notice that the little bug wasn't much for words, not that he minded but it was a bit…Strange. Then again, if this little senshi was some sort of alien, it made sense that he wouldn't be able to speak very well. After watching him sip from a thermos, he wondered how that would help.
He had his answer rather soon because after putting his hands on his cheeks, the little senshi tried again, and sure enough, the little moths were more active in the healing process. He could actually feel the healing working much better now and he was feeling less pain. He tapped his nose and smiled when he felt nothing out of place. Well well…Little bug would be more important than he thought. Villon got up then, standing in front of the senshi and squatting down so he was eye level, crazed eyes looking….Slightly less unhinged. “Thank you. Now…” He got back up, “You were eating flowers…Do you not eat food?”
—--------------------------------------------------
Erinome saw the twitch and stilled, wondering if they were going to grab him again but when nothing happened he went back to sipping more hot tea as a shiver went through him. Maybe he would let Ian bring him to the place where they had last time to get more clothing. The borrowed coat was too big and let too much of the cold in around the loose sleeves and collar.
Blinking and freezing again when they stood and then squatted down to look at him, something was a bit different but they were still scary. A slight nod to their thanks but then when they asked if he didn’t eat food confusion spread over his face. “It's food.” These were edible even on this planet, one of the teas Ian got him was made from the yellow flowers he was nibbling on.
Offering one of them up he thought it would be better not to make them angry. “Dandelion?” The word came out oddly as if he wasn’t sure if that was the right way to say it since he only ever saw it spelled when Ian was showing him books and helping him with the words here.
—--------------------------------------------------
Ah…So the bug ate plants…
Good to know.
Villon shook his head at the offer, and tried his best not to just aggressively hold the cute little bug by his neck. “No thank you, you eat it.” he tilted his as if he were thinking. Maybe the next time they meet he could reward his little healer for doing a good job. That b***h on the other hand that decided it was a great idea to try and break his nose? Yeah, he would be coming for her eventually. He liked challenges and she was a rather nice one. For now, he would take his leave.
Reaching out, Villon gently ruffled the senshi’s hair. “You did…Good.” He removed his hand then started walking, “Remember what I said little bug. I'll see you soon.” With that, he teleported away so he could go home, shower, and sleep. He had a rough day and the little bug actually made it better in a strange way. Too bad he wasn't able to corrupt because they could really use a healer on their side.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Erinome shrunk down as they ruffled his hair, nervous that they were going to push his hat back and grab his antennae again. Blinking and looking back up when they didn't do anything bad this time, he nodded at watched as they left. He sat there for quite a bit longer, just in case, because he didn't want them to follow him home.
Nibbling back on his flower, he stood up and shivered from the cold. It was going to get harder to come here each night but the alternative of them finding his home was worse and he really didn't want that.
Heading home after taking a roundabout path, he snuck back in as quietly as he could and went to curl up in bed. At least Ian slept through his outings more often now that he'd gotten better about sneaking out. It didn't make him feel any better about doing it but he hoped they wouldn't wake and worry about him if he was gone. The last thing he wanted was for them to follow along and get hurt by that senshi he had to heal.
