It was cold, colder than he’d dealt with back home so Erinome made sure to sneak out a thermos of hot tea with him when he left. Sneaking out was hit or miss, half the time Ian would hear him because they were a light sleeper. But tonight went off without a hitch and the little green senshi wandered out through the forest surrounding the property he lived on. Those odd moths he’d seen in the forests a month back were nowhere to be seen now, gone with the coming of the cold n** in the air.

So tonight he decided to poke around some of the places Ian had said would be okay, would be close enough to people to maybe ask for help if he got lost. That didn’t mean that he couldn’t nab a few plants to snack on as he went though. Most of the smaller greens had withered with the cold so he went for some of the ones that seemed spikey at first with red berries. They were sharp and prickly though and he didn’t quite like it so after grabbing a few berries, he continued on until he felt something sour. At first, he thought it had been something he ate but then he felt it getting closer as he broke through the treeline and saw he’d ended up near one of the green spaces that Ian warned him to avoid. It was wide open with low-cut grass and nowhere to hide, leaving his antennae flitting slightly as he looked around.

Caution was what Ian said to use so he needed to keep an eye out, even as he reached down to pull a rather yummy looking yellow pompom flower out of the grass.

For some odd reason Villon figured he had a nack for finding tiny little things that really shouldn't be wandering out at night (if he had his way, no white moon below their final stage should be wandering about without a partner or something. Not that he cared per se, but it would at least make it more difficult for him to just nab one like he is about to do). He was about to turn home when he caught the signature of a little order that was on the same level as the squishy thing he played with prior. Curiosity got the better of him since he was hoping the little thing would be the squish he was looking to encounter again. Quietly he traveled between walking and teleporting, getting closer to the thing that had his attention. He followed the signature all the way, but stopped in the treeline where he could get a better look at it.

Not the familiar grey of the squish but instead….Green? Were those antennas on its head? How intriguing…

And was it…..eating plants?

Truly an alien if thats the case.

He decided that he would try for a more interesting capture, teleporting to just a little bit behind the senshi, then running at full speed with the intention of tackling said alien to the ground. A closer look at those antenne is all he wanted really….Also to see if he they would grow back once removed. It would be nice to keep a souvenir for once.

As soon as he had started to nibble on the yellow flower, everything shifted and Erinome made a startled little sound before it was muffled by the grass. It felt like he’d been pummeled by something large and then… he felt that sour feeling and connected the dots. One of the chaos senshi like the one that had gone for his starseed.

Wiggling, he tried to get out from underneath the large senshi. “Hurts… stop.” Muffled words as he turned his face out of the grass. He saw them looking at him, but not at his face exactly and his antennae twitched slightly with his nervousness at what they were planning. Were they going to try pinning him like that light haired lady had?

Bingo.

Villon had to admit, it wasn't fair that he tackled something so small but hey, the thing was stupid enough to wander by itself, so might as well learn the consequences of those kinds of actions. As he looked down, he saw the antennae twitch, which really drew his attention then.

How…..Cute.

Villon did not hesitate, reaching one hand down to grab the antennae with a quickness. He was about to yank when he remembered that the thing said it was hurting, that he should stop. Well, he supposed he could be generous.Villon kept his grip on the antennae but he did get off of the poor thing, proceeding to lift them up by said appendage. Looking down, he tilted his head, curly hair falling in front of his face a bit. “I think I just caught a dirty insect...Hmmmn….” He gave a forceful tug on the antennae he currently had in his grip. “Wonder what I should do with such a dirty thing…” He yanked the senshi’s head back, bending at the waist so he could get close. “Tell me insect, think your blood is as green as your hair? Do you have pretty wings I can pull?”

He shook the senshi by the antennae, “Answer quickly…Otherwise I might try to find out myself, and I'm sure you don't want that.”

Erinome yelped when they grabbed his antennae, even before they decided to lift him up by it. The delicate thing crumpled and left him squirming. It made it hard to think as his head throbbed but with them off him, he threw the clump of dirt and grass that was in his hand at the senshi.

“No…let go.. h-h-hurts.” Speaking against the throb in his head, he pulled his collar in the back down to show no wings. The only thing there were his eye spots and more of the green freckles that littered his face as well.

Reaching up, he grabbed at the hand that held his antennae and tried to get it off but his movements were a bit less coordinated.

The dirt that was thrown at him did manage to get some of his face but he did manage to move out of the way enough for it not to affect his eyes. While he wouldve been angry any other time, he was too amused by the squirming the little bug did. “You know…..” He chuckled, “That wasn't very nice of you…” He did see that the creature in fact, had no wings, much to his disappointment. BUT, he could find his entertainment elsewhere. Lifting the creature by it's antennae, he reared his leg back and shoved his knee as hard as he could into it's stomach. “You shouldnt throw dirt like that little bug. Kinda rude, don't you think?” He brought his leg back and jammed it into their stomach a second time, still keeping his grip on those lovely antennae. “Now…Since you don't have wings I can pull, looks like you're stuck with me pulling these instead. Unless you can find something else to entertain me with?” He gave the antennae a nice hard tug for emphasis.

Gagging for a moment as the knee connected with his stomach, he grabbed at them when they did it a second time. He didn’t like them calling him bug, it wasn’t warm or endearing like when Amel called him that but he couldn’t really argue as he wretched when the harder tug came. Some of the little strands broke off one and it caused him to twitch.

“Stop!” Yelping as he flailed his hands and hoped what he was about to do would work or be entertaining enough. At least they weren’t reaching into his chest. Mumbling the words for his magic under his breath, little moths of light fluttered around and slapped against where he’d been hit. It helped heal his damaged antennae and eased the hurt in his stomach. The twitching stopped and he sagged a bit both in relief and due to his magic sapping him too much again. The rest of the moths fluttered around the corrupt, one slapping into their face where the dirt had hit and healed the small scratch that was there.

Another knee was about to be forced into the senshi’s stomach when he realized the tiny thing was….flailing? Villon laughed long and hard, about to return to the kick when he saw the little light moths flying around. At first he thought he would have to prepare for some space magic but when the rest of the tiny things hit his scratch and healed it he….Came up with an idea. Reaching around to grab the insect by the collar instead of his antennae, Villon lifted him up so that he was eye level.

“You….Little thing, are useful.” He stated matter of factly. He shook the tiny senshi a bit to get his attention. “I could use a healer….How about this: Should I need healing of some sort I will come and find you. I expect to be healed with no resistance from you little bug.” His blue eyes narrowed dangerously. “I will not hurt you anymore if you cooperate. However, if you tell anyone on your little misguided side of things….” His grin turned feral, “I will personally rip” His hands took hold of the antennae and tugged harder than before, “These little things out of your head and shove them down your throat.”

“And that will be after I put my hand in the chest of whomever you bring with you and eat that little thing we call a starseed.” One last tug, “Am I understood? Or do you need an example?”

Blinking and exhaling in relief as they let go of his antennae, that relief didn’t last long as he felt that he’d made a mistake letting this senshi know he could heal. “No…no follow.” He knew Ian would make them move if he brought a senshi back to the property. Xander and all the others didn’t need anything dangerous following him home and this senshi was very dangerous. “Meet.. meet somewhere.” Offering up only that compromise before they grabbed his antennae again.

“Heal… when can.” Stumbling over his words, he wasn’t good at talking to begin with and he was finding it harder to form even his usual strung together sentences. “Magic… wonky.” Looking at the senshi as he hoped they’d put him back down. “Try though.” He hoped that would be good enough, because he didn’t need them to come after Ian for trying to keep him safe.

Good. It seemed like the little alien understood just who was holding all the cards here.

Villon let go of the antennae as well, dropping the moth on the ground. “Good. Check this place as often as you can. If I need you then I will be here.” He reached down and plucked the very same yellow flower that the creature was about to eat, handing it to him before ruffling his hair. Amazing how he now had such a cute little pet. Maybe he could do the same for that squishy one he encountered previously? “I'll see you around, little bug…Remember what I said and I wont hurt you or those you care about.” With that he teleported some distance away so he could head home for the night.

Wincing again when they dropped him, he stayed quiet and listened. At least they wouldn’t follow him, at least he hoped. Then they offered him one of the pompom flowers, something Ian had called a weed but he liked the taste.

Taking it cautiously, he nibbled on it to try and get some of his energy back after using his magic. His antennae twitched when they reached for him again but this time they just messed with his hair and he felt his cap sliding off slightly. “Erinome… not bug.” Chewing through the stem next when he looked up the senshi was gone and that sour feeling seemed to fade.

Standing slowly, he pulled his thermos from subspace and sipped at the honey sweetened tea. He still hurt but he needed to get home and trying his magic again might make him tired enough to take a nap in the grass and that was just asking for that chaos senshi or any other to grab him.

Either way this would not be something he told Ian about, not if he wanted to stay where they currently lived.
