Karmea wandered into her favorite clearing, as she had been stuck in the thick of the woods, letting her skeletal wings cling to her back. Unable to stretch them out, they had been aching for a while and she was excited to get to let them breathe. Many would think that, because they were just bones they would not get stiff but on the contrary, she believed they got stiffer than normal wings. Stepping out into her favorite clearing, she let her wings stretch out in the warmth and allowed her eyes to close as she let the rays touch the bony features of her face. It was hard sometimes making friends with her appearance but in the long run, who needed them? Too many times had her walls broken down just to be repaired back up with stronger material.
"Oh.. to be free." She admired her solidarity but sometimes wished she had someone that she could talk to. The last friendly interaction she had was with a colorful piece of rope that ended up being a snake. The night she could not remember but yet, that colorful snake still stayed in her memories. Maybe she could try a friendship again, just to have someone to talk to. That was the one thing Karmea missed the most. Just conversations.
Then again, Karmea was not the one to go out of her way to talk to someone. She was not mean, just reserved. Yet many took her spooky features and her unwillingness to talk as something wrong. Something evil. Karmea had no glimpse of evil in her body. Just internal scars that she kept locked away from others so they would not have any ammo against her.
Lowering her muzzle and opening her eyes, she let her wings come down her sides as she started to munch on the grass. This was a much-needed snack time.
