She leaped across rooftops till she was at a club. She waited for the right idiot, locked eyes, and the next thing she knew, she was in the alley with the man thinking he was going to get something she definitely was not about to give. “******** you're hot….Why didn't I see you in the club?” Salee grinned and placed her hand on the back of his neck, drawing energy while she talked. “I was there but I left. Didn't think there was any man that could catch my eye..” her victim chuckled, “well, I'm glad you chose me then yeah? I'll ******** rock your world~”
Yeah….Sure.
She looked up at him with lustful green eyes, faking interest. “Oh? Gonna show me right here and now?” The victim was all too eager unbuckling his pants, shoving aside his slow decline in energy for the woman in front of him.
He was still getting used to this…negaverse thing. It was weird, and completely ridiculous, but here he was. Lieutenant Polarite. With a stupid giant toy hammer that actually squeaked if he hit someone with it. He had left it behind as soon as he powered up, much preferring to rely on his fists for fighting especially if that godforsaken thing was his alternative.
The weirdest thing about the negaverse was they treated it like a paramilitary job. Like, he actually had a quota he was supposed to fill every night. He had almost filled his for tonight and was wandering near the clubs when he spotted her. Saleeite.
With a man who was undoing his pants. There was logic somewhere in the back of his mind saying she was just draining the dumbass and that he shouldn't get angry but…
Being Polarite seemed to come with extra anger issues. And more jealousy than he normally had. But it felt good.
Silently, he came up behind the man and looked at Salee over his shoulder before laying a hand on the man's shoulder to drain him faster. Polar wasn't sure he would stop once the man passed out.
This was….Fun. Salee figured the man would run out of energy before he even got his pants down, giggling while the man growled in frustration. The fun took a darker turn when she sensed Polarite, feigning innocence when he showed up behind the man, placing his hand on his opposite shoulder to drain him faster. “Oh come on Polar he wasn't going to get far and you know it.” The man felt his eyes roll back and he started to slump. Saleeite deadpanned and rolled her eyes, easily slipping underneath the poor man who passed out, hitting his head on the brick wall he had her against.
Without a care in the world, she jumped up to land on the rooftop, making a quick decision before taking off. Sure she liked to tease and taunt, but she could feel the murder waves coming off of her other half which meant she needed to make herself scarce lest she want to reap what she sowed.
Could have some wonderful results though.
“Did I know that?” he asked in an offhand manner as he watched the man fall. Salee was too nice, giving the man a soft landing. “Regardless, he wanted what’s mine, and I can’t have that,” he said and smirked before she took off.
“Minx,” he muttered, eyeing the unconscious man on the ground. “I think you need to learn a lesson.”
A few minutes later, Polarite jumped up to land on the same rooftop Salee had, wondering where she had gone. “Little mouse~” he sang out, feeling a little playful. She had been helping him feel all kinds of new things in both their civilian lives and this negaverse one. “Where did you go?”
Maybe she should ask why he calls her that.
Yeah, she definitely should.
Eyeballing Polar from a small distance away, she sat with her legs crossed, leaning back, “Over hereeee~” she spotted her next victim, “Ohhh noooo Polarrr! There's a big scawry man! Looks like I'm going to get seduced!” She leaped off of the roof, and landed right in front of the man that was apparently not in his right mind to run away. “Wholly s**t! Are you real!?” “About as real as I can be yeah…Want me to prove it?” The man nodded, “I'm high off my a** right now, can't be sure I'm not dreaming when a thick goth girl just lands in front of me.” Saleeite laughed and got closer, “I could give you alllll the proof if you stay still.” The man promptly stiffened, but she approached him very closely, leaning into whisper, “Sorry, wrong place and wrong time love.” Then, making sure her companion could see, she pulled her victim into her arms to give him the best damned kiss he would ever have.
Before he would die of course.
Hearing her voice, he turned and headed for her, narrowing his eyes and then rolling them when she spoke. She liked to test his patience, it seemed. He followed where she had leapt down, scowling when he saw her in a liplock with some garbage human. “Seriously, Salee? Him?” he asked, grabbing the man’s neck to drain him even as he choked him.
“Are you trying to get me to leave a trail of bodies across the city?” he asked, entirely unaffected by the man who was currently trying to breathe in his grasp. Ineffective hands grabbed at his wrist and arm but Polarite was stronger and even though it wasn’t his fault, this man would pay for touching what was his.
Seriously she really needed to stop.
Honestly she did.
Truly.
Mmmnhmmmn….Yep, stopping.
Tilting her head to the side, Saleeite once again portrayed innocence, “Polar! Put him down he didn't d-do a-any!” And she couldn't keep it up much longer, bursting with laughter even as there was a man dying in front of her, “no one SAID you had to leave bodies puppy~” it wasn't her fault he was pissing on his territory. “You should let him go, otherwise I'll have to find another.” She gave him a smug grin and slowly started to back up, “There are plenty of men around you knowww~”
This chaos clearly brought out the worst in her.
Yeah, that innocent act of hers didn’t fool him now anymore than it fooled him when they were civilians. Her laughter still affected him, though, making him smile as the man finally passed out. Polarite let him drop to the ground; there might still be some life in him but he didn’t care enough to check as he stepped over him and toward Saleeite.
“Mmhmm, I am aware of that, little mouse.” He sank his hands in his pockets as he followed her. “No, but you know exactly what you do to me,” he said. She was a menace like this, but he liked playing with her.
Saleeite turned to face Polarite with her hands behind her back, “Do I?” She walked backwards as he walked forward, keeping her eyes on him. “I'm just a gremlin trying to have fun, I don't know what you're talking about.” Of course she was very aware of what she did to the man before her, doesn't mean she didn't like to test boundaries sometimes. “Why DO you call me little mouse anyway? You know I'm not docile at all.” In fact, she was very capable of hurting someone, whether it's verbally or physically. She might have a rope for a weapon, but that could do some damage if used right.
He snorted at that. How well he knew about her gremlin-ness. He enjoyed it, most of the time. Although, he supposed he didn’t need her teaching his sister how to gremlin. Ainsley could do that just fine all on her own. As she stepped back, he continued to move forward, his longer strides slowly shortening the distance between them. Her question made him smirk. “You’ll have to come closer if you want to know the answer,” he told her. He just wanted to see her reaction up close as he whispered it into her ear. He loved what just his voice could do to her.
Oh that was tempting….
But did she want to go to that honeypot?
Yes.
Saleeite kept eye contact and walked as close as she could, raising an eyebrow expectantly.
