She crossed her legs, typing away on her phone while she waited. It was hard living a “double life” since she couldn't tell anyone what her actual job was. She started onlyfans when she turned 18 for a way to get through college. Her face was always blurred, obscured, or masked so no one would know her identity in real life which helped. Heaven knows if any future employer found out about what she did, she would never get hired anywhere [even if it was none of their business.].
Idirian was right. Ainsley was the smuggest of smug when he told her what he would be doing while she was at her friend’s house. The pre-teens had even talked the mother into letting it be a sleepover. So Idirian had the house to himself all night. When he asked his sister’s opinion of his outfit shirt, Ainsley just rolled her eyes and told him he needed more color in his wardrobe. He figured that was the best he was going to get.
By the time he parked at Chili’s, he was beginning to feel a bit nervous. But he stepped inside and looked for Noa, staring a bit when he saw her. Her outfit was a far cry from a Ross uniform and not only did he find her hot, he thought she was gorgeous. “Hey,” he said. So smooth. “Sorry to make you wait.”
Noa felt the breeze as the door opened and stood up, waving excitedly at Idirian. “Well hello thar.” She giggled at her own star wars joke, giving him a big hug. “I wasn't waiting long trust me.” Hooking her arm in his Noa looked to the hostess who was a bit startled. What an odd couple…. “Table for two or would you like to go to the bar?” Noa smiled, dimples deepening and only being highlighted by her piercings. “Mmmmmn….Table please.” While the bar sounded fun…Not on the first date. The hostess smiled and started walking to which Noa started to walk as well, pulling Idri along with her.
The hostess sat them down at a booth, giving them both menus and letting them know their server will be with them momentarily. “Oh! Oh! I think I'm going to have a chicken burger with some fries. What are you having Idri?”
Idirian was definitely surprised by how excited she seemed to be for this date. He hadn’t exactly made the best impression at Ross. The hug caught him off guard, but he wrapped an arm around her and hugged her back. He nodded at her answer, pleased that he hadn’t made her wait long. Table was definitely a better choice, since Idirian didn’t drink. Plus, he would rather sit across from her so he could see her while they talked. s**t, he actually had to talk. What the ******** was his gonna talk about? His traumatic life was definitely not a good first date subject. Maybe he could get Noa to talk about herself instead.
Damn, those dimples were ******** adorable. He was glad she took the lead in getting them to the table, savoring the way her arm felt wrapped around his. He was almost disappointed when she let go to take her seat, but he slid into the booth across from her and accepted the menu from the hostess. “That sounds good,” he said as he perused the menu himself. “Think I’m gonna get the double cheeseburger with mushrooms and fries.” He set the menu down, barely glancing at the server when she came to take their drink order. He asked for tea, idly turning the ring on his left pointer finger around. “Can I be honest with you?” he asked her.
That was a pretty nice choice if she said so herself. A double cheeseburger would make her look pregnant with how filling it would be but she supposed since Idri is a pretty big guy (she wasn't going to talk about the muscle she could feel when she wrapped herself around his arm), so it made sense to order a burger that big. The server took their orders, Noa having ordered a sprite, green eyes watching the way he was playing with his ring…Was he…Oh god that is so stupidly adorable! Noa practiced her poker face so she wouldn't smile and tease him about being a shy little puppy, tilting her head slightly. “Yeah sure! So long as you're not going to tell me you're some serial killer or something.”
He snorted at her answer and shook his head. “No, I’m not a serial killer,” he said, amusement in his eyes as he looked at her. “I was surprised you said yes to tonight.” She was ******** beautiful, he thought. Exactly his type. Curvy in all the right places, and even in those big heels she was shorter than him. Not that it was hard to find people shorter than his six and a half foot frame, but he preferred curvy and petite women. He liked her style, too. It wasn’t as dark as his usually (always) was, but it wasn’t mainstream, either. She had her own ideas about fashion, clearly, and he liked them.
In his experience, women were drawn to his height and muscle, the apparently mysterious vibe he gave off. Plus the whole “good with kids” thing was a turn on for some women. Idirian hadn’t exactly made the best first impression when they met, and he was curious as to what made her accept his offer of dinner. He just didn’t know how best to ask that without coming off as more of an a*****e than he already had.
The server arrived with their drinks, Noa to a sip of her sprite, an amused twinkle in her eyes, “Oh? Well jokes on you, I find serial killers hot. Don't get me started on Michael Meyers~” She laughed a little, finding his statement a bit odd. “What? You thought I was going to say no because you were an a** at Ross?” Of course she actually did think about it, and she did have the rejection typed, but instead she decided to give him a chance. Everyone has bad days and it could've been that Idri was just off. Taking another sip she continued, “I'll be honest, I was going to say no. But, I didn't because of your sister AND because I think you could be fun, despite your chronic RBF.”
It also kind of helped that he did fit the criteria of being tall and well built. She wasn't about to admit this yet but there is just something about a guy picking her up with no issues that just…Gets to her. “I'm sure there's something amazing under that hot topic exterior and I'm a bit curious to see what it is.”
He laughed softly, something he almost never did with people other than Ainsley. “Come on, you like Michael Myers over Jason?” he teased, smirking a bit. He nodded at her next words. Yeah, that was exactly why he thought she would say no. He wasn’t a people person on his best days, and he hated shopping with a passion. He bought almost all of his clothes online so he wouldn’t have to set foot in a clothing store for himself. He sipped his tea and almost choked on it. “RBF? That’s resting b***h face, isn’t it?” He’d never heard someone refer to him as such.
He also had never had anyone refer to him as “fun.” He rolled his eyes. “I don’t actually shop at Hot Topic,” he told her. Ainsley was always telling him he needed to go in there and find “his people” but Idirian just gave her a look and she usually dropped it.
“I mean I can do you one better….Why not both? So long as they keep their masks on I'm not complaining~” She winked playfully at him, sitting back when the server brought their food to them. Grabbing a fry, she couldn't hold back her laughter at his reaction to her accusation of RBF, “Why yes young Idirian…RBF does in fact stand for resting b***h face.” At the eyeroll she snorted yet again, finishing the fry she picked up. “What?!” She faked a gasp, “Oh no! Could've fooled me~” She leaned back, eating more fries as time went on.
Oh? So she had a mask kink. That was interesting, he thought, a small smile on his face. He was enjoying this more than he thought he would. He shook his head in amusement at her mock astonishment. He hadn’t expected conversation to be this easy, but he was pleased that it was. “Please don’t teach my sister about RBF, she will never let me live it down,” he told her and chuckled a little.
“You look really good, by the way,” he said softly, having realized he hadn’t complimented her yet. It felt like so long ago, but he remembered his mother telling him that women, girls, enjoyed compliments and that men should give them as often as possible.
Oh she was totally teaching Ainsley about RBF. How could she not help a fellow gremlin in need?
The comment caused her cheeks to heat up a tad, and because she was so very light skinned, she was sure they were now turning red. “Thank you.” She gave him a once over, “You're not so bad yourself~” There were some thoughts running around in her head but she was just going to have to wait and see.
With that look on her face, he knew she would be teaching Ainsley so very many things to annoy the s**t out of him. And then she blushed. ********, he liked that look on her too much. He almost missed it when she reciprocated the compliment, but it made him smile. “Thanks,” he said. He really didn’t have much experience with dating. Sex? Absolutely. Actual dating like this? Nope. But he found he was enjoying himself, and enjoying her company.
“So you like horror movies?” he asked as he bit into his burger. Ainsley was too young to watch them, so he usually ended up watching them after she’d gone to bed or when she wasn’t home. It would be nice to have someone to watch them with. And now he was probably getting ahead of himself.
Horror movies?! Noa finished the bite she took of her chicken burger, smiling, “My favorite one is Hellraiser. I also love Alien and….What was it? Midsommar. That one, while not as scary, was just a psychological ride. But if I had to pick like terrifying, I'd say it's a tie between Barbarian and Hereditary.” Was she a horror movie buff? Maybe. But she really liked movies in general. “I just saw the third Quiet Place movie, which was just as amazing as the first two. Jordan Peele is also a ******** genius with US, Get Out and surprisingling Nope.” She could go on and on really but she wanted to give Idri a chance to talk.
“How about you? What kind of horror movies do you like?”
He took another bite of his burger as she answered him, watching her curiously. He’d never met someone who liked horror movies as much as he did. “Don’t spoil Day One for me, I haven’t seen it yet,” he told her after he swallowed. “My favorite is Silence of the Lambs. I like the psychological ones, but the ones that could actually happen to someone in real life? Those are my favorites. Have you ever seen Seven?” Now that was a creepy movie. He loved it, though. There was always something new he missed when he rewatched.
“Jordan Peele is a master. His movies are always amazing, even when they sound like they’re going to be corny as ********,” he said and snorted softly.
Another bite, some chewing, then some swallowing. It's not rare to find someone that liked horror movies but it's also not common either. “Silence of the lambs?!” She grinned, blushing again, “Look Hannibal was my first crush…Something about the way that Anthony Hopkins played him just….Well anyway! Definitely watch Midsommar. It should be right up your alley.” Noa decided to finish her fries before continuing, “No I haven't. I've heard it's one of the cult classics though and it's been on my list for a minute. I have heard the box meme though and it makes me want to watch even more.” She worked to finish her chicken burger, feeling quite satisfied. “We should watch some horror movies sometime~ Maybe we could watch Seven?”
Hannibal was her first crush? At first he thought she meant the younger actor who played him in the third movie but no, she meant Anthony Hopkins. He ate while she talked, half distracted by the blush on her pretty face. He had finished his burger while they talked, and when she suggested they watch Seven together sometime, he smiled a little.
“I'd like that,” he said, wondering if it would be too soon to ask if she'd like to see it after their date. But then he thought, ******** it, it seemed to be going well so far and part of him didn't want it to end when they were finished eating. “Would you…want to watch it tonight? Ainsley is spending the night at a friend's house.”
That smile was something she wanted to draw out a bit more if this should continue past their first date. When Idri asked if she wanted to come over to watch Seven tonight, Noa faked a gasp and acted like she was clutching at invisible pearls, “Idirian! Did you just ask me to….Netflix and Chill!? The neeerve!” She couldn't be serious anymore, covering her mouth to hold in her laughter. “Hahaha! Sure why not! Maybe we could watch the new Hellraiser that came out last year too! I heard pinhead is female and hot this time.” finishing her plate and drink, she fished out her debit card to pay for her half of the meal, writing down a tip for good service.
He rolled his eyes when she accused him of wanting to Netflix and Chill, chuckling softly when she started to laugh. Damn, he could get used to that sound. “Sure, we can watch that too,” he said as he paid for his food and left a cash tip. Part of him was disappointed that she didn't give him a chance to pay for her meal, too, but she seemed like a very independent woman.
He stood from the booth and offered her his hand to help her up. “I've even got popcorn at home, and ice cream if you want dessert later,” he told her. Though, he wouldn't complain at all if she decided she wanted a different kind of dessert later…
Taking the hand offered, Noa’s mind went straight to the gutter for all of five seconds when she heard the word dessert. The poor woman had to look away before he could see the blush on her face, and the worrying of her lower lip. “P-Popcorn sounds nice~” since she drove here, she would have to follow him back or at least put his address in her GPS.
Despite her teasing, that deep voice that Idri owned was downright sinful and definitely didn't speak to other parts of her body that she was currently trying to temper. Once outside, she unlocked her car with her key fob, looking up at him, “I'll follow you, but can you give me your address?” she had a thought….What if other things happened? Well, she wouldn't be opposed to it…
She would have to see where the night took them.
He smirked a bit, catching the slight stutter when she talked about popcorn. Was she having the same ideas he was? He helped her out of the booth and walked her to her car. “Sure thing,” he said and gave her his address, pointing out which car was his. Of course, because it was him and occasionally he had to cart around multiple pre-teen girls, Idirian owned a black SUV.
“I'll see you when we get there,” he said and gave her a small smile before heading toward his own car. Inside, he had to adjust himself in his jeans so he could drive comfortably.
