Standing near the playground he had initially met Ako, he ran his thumb over that medallion of his again while thinking of how this evening would go. While the process was something he had read, this was going to be his first time directly assisting with and handling the aftermath of it. It would be interesting either way, not just because he was bringing someone from order over to the correct side of this whole thing but because they would also be the first senshi on his team. Not that it would make them any better or worse than his team thus far but it would mean he would get a bit more direct experience with a corrupt senshi that wasn't secretly plotting his death in the background.

Pulling up his sleeve, he checked the time before taking a seat on the bench nearest the playground. Already he had prepped some things at the smaller home of his in the city, a place she could go while he would be able to check in on her as the adjustment period went on. Just how much they would forget and what impact it would have made him very curious. How would it change a person if they'd built their personality through managing the fallout of harsh experiences? As long as they didn't end up troublesome for him or for the Negaverse.

He'd do what he could to help her get settled and train her up for things. Already he was considering if she would work out well as an employee of the venture he and his sister were putting into motion. It would happen soon, once everything was readied and every precaution was taken. It had to be perfect, anything less, and it wouldn't be worthy of the work put in him and Mel.

Ako took deep, steadying breaths as she approached the meeting spot. Her heart was racing and she would be lying if she said she didn't feel at least a little bit sick. Everything she knew was about to change, about to be forgotten, and while she was gaining relief, she was equally terrified by it all.

Her eyes fell upon Chalcanthite and she made her way over to him, giving him an anxious smile. "Sorry, hope you weren't waiting long?"

Nerves were going to be the death of her, she just knew it. "Where do we go from here?"

Looking up, he offered a calm smile in response as he stood. "Not at all, I finished setting up a few things for afterward to help you get some rest." He'd let Liam know about things and told them to meet him and Ako at their city home with Desiree later that evening.

"We will be going to my office and then another office after that to get the help we need to assist with this process." While he wished he didn't have to play middleman, he knew that it was, unfortunately, the way things were.

"Are you ready? Or do you need time to settle any lingering affairs?"

Ako nodded, listening patiently. "I think I'm ready." She paused and held out a key. "I got a small storage unit and put important things in there as well as things to help me start over, like clothes and furniture and stuff. Would you... would you hold onto this for me? So I don't lose it or anything in the process?" That would be the worst case scenario, that she would lose it or drop it, or even worse, forget all about it.

"I know this is going to sound ridiculous most likely, but...I wanted to say thank you to you, while I still remember why. This is the first time in over a year that I have been able to breathe easy and that I have felt even hopeful. So I wanted to say thank you for giving this to me." Unlike the night he had met Ako, her eyes held a flicker of light to them now. A hope that had long since been thought to be extinguished.

Looking at the key, he accepted it and tucked it into his subspace for now. "I can do that, we can manage a truck if needed for moving things as well for you when you feel up to it." Though the place he had for her was furnished, he figured it wouldn't be too hard to move things around or to the manor to make space for her belongings.

"It was no problem for me to offer a hand when you looked as you had. Only steps forward from now on, without things weighing you down as much." Advice he was working on taking himself after Liam had been pushing him to not dwell as much on his own past.

"I will say, you may feel a bit of discomfort being down in the office area given your current position on the other side of things so if you need a moment to reorient yourself do let me know." The last thing he needed was for her to lose her lunch on him in front of the sovereign...

Offering his hand out to her, he readied himself to teleport them both. "Off we go then."

The advice was sound, and she was looking forward to being able to finally let go of it all. She nodded and gave a slight smile to him. "Definitely noted. I'll manage, I'm sure." She took his hand without hesitation, ready to take the next step.

To say it was a pleasant feeling would be outright lying, but the discomfort he had spoken of wasn't the worst she had ever felt. Ako pinched the bridge of her nose and closed her eyes for a moment, pushing back against the feeling of "wrongness". It was a sensation that made her want to get out of the area immediately, but she refused to act on that instinct. "You weren't kidding...." Her nose scrunched and she opened her eyes again, looking around curiously.

Teleporting wasn't much of an issue, even when bringing someone along but each person reacted differently. Watching the other carefully, he readied himself to lunge for the trashcan beneath his desk just in case so he could avoid anything hitting the carpet.

As she looked around, he flicked the light for his office on. It illuminated all the glass cases of minerals as well as the shelves of books that stood between those locked glass cases. "This is my office, I thought it might be best to take a moment here in case your stomach decided against that method of transportation." At least for the most part, they looked okay, if just a bit unsettled but that was to be expected when bringing someone from order down here.

Pulling the chair out from across his desk for her, he understood if they needed a moment to settle. "We can head over to the next office here shortly, once you feel a bit less dazed. Though the entirety of that feeling will not fade, that I apologize for but it is understandable why it happens."

Ako squinted in the light for a moment before her eyes adjusted. When she saw the cases of minerals, her eyes lit up and she walked over, peering at them curiously. She recognized a few, though not nearly as many as she had hoped.

"This is a lovely collection. A hobby of yours?" She carefully peered at the cases, keeping her hands respectfully off of the glass. Gems and minerals were something she had always thought to be pretty and interesting, though she hadn't taken much time to learn about them outside of their use in fashion.

She seemed to adjust and settle quite quickly once she was distracted by the minerals, her mind more focused on knowledge. "I think I'll be alright. It was probably just momentary disorientation and not being used to....whatever you want to call this feeling. Do you get that too? Around Order folk, I mean. That weird prickle on the back of your neck or the sort of twisty feeling in your gut?" She couldn't help but be curious, especially since it would soon pertain to her as well.

"Thank you, I have built it up over the years from my finds in the Rift as well as some I acquired in auctions." All things he thought would be nice to display as well as the ones that bore the name of his team. His own mineral was delicate and sensitive to moisture so it was in its own box within the case, nestled in crushed blue velvet. It had been hard to find a specimen he approved of, especially since he shared his powered name with it.

It was good to see them interested in something, a bit more of that life being breathed into them. It was better if they had something to focus on and work towards. "Not exactly, while I can feel the difference in order it is more akin to feeling the opposite. Where you feel sick, I mostly feel as if an uncomfortable light is near. Though over time it has become less of a bother." Looking at them for another moment, he took his medallion out of his breast pocket and looked at it.

"I do apologize for the sudden change you will feel once I dispel this coin." Running his thumb over the engraving again, he sent it away to subspace and with that action, his full signature was apparent. Walking around his desk, he stopped before one of the cases to look over his mineral. Each was labeled with a small plaque and he'd made sure to keep things tidy himself. Not that he didn't trust the senshi that was now a housekeeper, he just preferred to handle his own possession.

"Are you ready to meet one of our sovereigns and start this new path forward?" Turning back to look at them, he offered a warm smile, that same helpful smile he had before. "I will be there of course, before, during, and after. Unlike the disorganized mess that order is, we take care of our own here." That hint of contempt was there but not directed at her as he offered his hand again.

"It's quite the impressive collection. All of the pieces are really lovely quality from what I can see." She was surprised at how vibrant the specimen that shared his name was, never having seen a piece of it before. "Must be a fun hobby, looking for gorgeous stones and whatnot."

Ako nodded as he spoke. It made sense that it wasn't as jarring of a feeling for him as it was for her, somehow. "You don't have to apologize. Not like you can help it, you know?" And then she felt it. The sensation hit her in a similar way to walking into a cooler and hitting the wall of icy air. "Oh." She almost thought to steady herself by grabbing onto the glass case, but decided against it and moved to carefully lean against his desk. "I just....need a moment." She closed her eyes and took slow, deep breaths as she let herself adjust. After a moment longer, she opened her eyes and gave him a small, awkward smile. "Sorry, that was... embarrassing of me. I'll be alright now, I think."

His comment about the Order faction made her snort. "It's funny... I barely know anyone on the order side of it all. I got thrown into all this and had little to no explanation of it all and I've been flying blind this whole time mostly on my own. If that lot was more organized, if there was some sort of safety net, I might not be here right now. Who knows?" A laugh escaped her but it was bitter sounding. "Sorry, I promise I'm not cynical all the time. Just.... vastly disappointed in what they could have been, you know? There's some warped humor in the fact that a faction that calls themself Order is so disorderly."

She took the offered hand and nodded. '"I deeply appreciate your help, both now and after." She took a breath and nodded again, though it seemed more like it was to reassure herself. "Alright, I'm ready."

Hobby was an interesting way to put it but it made the most sense. Either way, he approved of their view on the crystals and minerals. Tama had a similar view of them as well which was why he'd been fond of the times he'd spoken with that Mau over mineralogy.

Watching as they leaned against his desk instead of the glass, he wasn't surprised by how it looked like she'd been knocked rather hard by a strong wing. There wasn't any reference in his own experiences on how that might feel short of when that new Princess took the field at the bank but he'd been just far enough to avoid their magic that night. Just in case, he allowed her the time she needed to get settled once more. It wouldn't do well for her to get worked up or have any doubts going into this. Everything was to proceed smoothly if he could manage it, at least the parts he could influence.

"You are quite alright but now you see why I used that little tool of mine when out and about. I would rather not scare off others when all I want is a nice chat you know?" Nodding as he waited for her response, he didn't squeeze her hand but let it be something steady she could hold on to on the walk to Axinite's office.

"It was an unfortunate time for you, in more than one way it sounds like. I find it quite the oxymoron with how chaotic order really is." Smiling slightly as he took the most direct path, there wasn't any time to be wasted and he had already reached out to Desiree and Melpomene about the aftermath of all this.

Standing before the door, Chalcanthite knocked once with purpose. "General King Axinite, I have someone here who requires your assistance." Giving a reassuring nod to Ako, he figured this would be the best course of action for the senshi. It also helped that he would nudge her to join the intelligence branch to help round out his team more.

Axinite’s door was nearly always open; that it was closed now was an oddity, but easily explained because it opened almost immediately. He’d been standing behind it, holding a book from the nearby bookcase.

“Come in,” he greeted, sweeping his hand to invite them into his office. “You can have a seat if you like.” There were two comfortable looking chairs sitting across from his desk, and a two seated couch against the wall.

His office was more comfortable than anyone might have any reason to expect, and even now the aroma of fresh baked sweets was by far the most prominent feature.

Everything was neatly organized, and a tray of sweets was positioned on the corner of his desk. A stack of papers and his tablet were nearby.

He nodded politely. “Chalcanthite, always good to see you. And you must be…Ako?”

Axinite did not immediately recognize the Senshi, but he kept a close eye on the new reports that came in and it hadn’t been so long ago that Chalcanthite had submitted the name. She matched the description completely, a testament to Chalcanthite’s attention to detail, so Axinite found himself feeling confident at the assumption.

"It is quite the useful little thing. I definitely would have been more.... hesitant to speak with you had you not used it." Ako gave Chal a small smile, curious about the coin and how it worked but stowing that away to ask later. There were much more important things at hand.

"It was not the most ideal experience, you definitely aren't wrong. If I'm being completely honest, I'm genuinely curious about the way this faction works. It sounds so organized and completely different from what I'm used to. I'm eager to learn about it all."

She followed him easily, though as they approached the office, she could feel the General and it vaguely made her want to squirm. She forced herself to ignore the feeling, focusing on, instead, the smell of.... was that the smell of freshly baked cookies? Coming from the office of a Negaverse agent? She was more curious than ever about Axinite now.

As they were bid to enter, Ako followed Chalcanthite inside and stayed quiet until addressed. The office seemed to be almost pristinely organized, and the tray of sweets on the corner of the desk made her actually smile. At the mention of her name, she looked up and gave a small nod.

"I am, yes. It's... nice to put a face to a name." For the first time, she finally seemed to be a little nervous. "I... have no idea how to go about this, so I suppose I'll just be direct and hope I don't seem rude. I assume Chalcanthite has already told you about my intent?"

Stepping inside, it took a fair amount of willpower for Chalcanthite to not pick up the whole tray of cookies. They smelled delightful but he held himself to just two for now, keeping a hand in front of his mouth for a moment as he took a bite of the first one. His other hand kept any crumbs from finding a home on his uniform or the floor as he remained standing for a moment.

"You look well Axinite." For now, he would let them make their own assumptions about Ako, he'd provided more than enough details regarding things both in a public and private report regarding the senshi.

Once Ako started to bring things up, he took a seat carefully and watched things unfold. It was a first for him in this regard and he wanted to take as many mental notes about it all from witnessing it before he'd ask Ako how things had felt if she could remember it after the fact.

Already he could see she was nervous and he offered a reassuring nod before continuing with his cookies. Always careful of how he held himself even now, as much as he still wanted to grab more. That and he knew Liam would scold him for filling up on the things when he was supposed to have dinner at home after this event.

“There is usually only one intent when I have a guest like yourself here in my office,” Axinite assured politely. “I won’t think you rude for having questions. It’s perfectly normal. Please, if there’s anything I can do to make you feel comfortable,” he gestured to the seats and sweets all the same.

When they were both inside, he closed the door behind them to offer a bit of privacy.

He smiled kindly at Ako, and when he looked at Chalcanthite he was obviously amused–though pleased–to see his enthusiasm for the cookies. Axinite bore no judgment. On the contrary, he thought it was easy on the nerves to see him looking so content.

“I feel well, Chalcanthite. Thank you for noticing.” He'd slept recently, so that probably helped. “The Negaverse has been kind to me. And it will be to you as well, Ako. I trust you’ve had time to make preparations?”
