Caleb drew in a long breath and glanced back at Camille and gave a slow, eager grin. “Come on. This is my time of the year, no matter how you look at it. Let’s go shopping.”
Halloween was over, the holidays were right around the corner, and everywhere you went, things smelled of cinnamon. Honestly, he’d been rusty with patrolling, but he kind of wanted to get back into it. It was…difficult to keep up a vendetta against chaos when you were dating a former member of the Negaverse…it proved that people could be redeemed and…honestly?
That was a little conflicting. He wanted to just extinguish Chaos but…if he could help save them?
Ugh.
Whatever. It wasn’t the time to focus on that, but instead, was time to go and pick up some silly socks, get some cinnamon scented things and just spend the day with Camille. A nice, calm day.
As it should be.
“I’m thinking…mostly craft stores? I have a few in mind, but if there’s anywhere you want to go, just let me know.”

Honestly, after the last few weeks he'd had? This was nice. Camille had stumbled throguh every miserable spooky thing the city had to offer, it felt like, and now--well. Now, maybe they were past all that garbage.
And anyway, he'd mostly run into nonsense as Cleeia, so a nice date with his cute boyfriend going shopping sounded like the safest thing they could possibly do.
"Sounds great," he said, and meant it. "Honestly, I'm good going anywhere, I just want to get out." And not think about Senshi things. And not worry about the Negaverse. And just....be Camille. "If we're going to craft stores, I can pick up some supplies for myself. And maybe fancy fall drinks, later?"

“Fancy drinks are an absolute must. And a great idea.” When they were chilly from walking outside…a hot chocolate would be perfection.
Taking hold of Camille’s hand, Caleb drew it up to his lips and pressed a kiss to the back of it before tucking the other males’ arm in the crook of his own.
“What kind of supplies are you looking for? Working on any special projects? Do I get to be nosey?”
He was being nosey, but…he was also trying to make it clear that Camille didn’t have to answer. He would just…pout. A little if he didn’t.

"Excellent. It's a plan, then," he said. There was a fond delight in his voice--and really, this kind of normalcy was....so nice. He couldn't remember his life before; if he'd had dates like this, or anything similar; but it didn't really matter anymore, did it? He had this.
Hand kisses and charming smiles that made him blush. He went eagerly, leaning a little bit towards Caleb as they walked.
"I....want to paint what I saw. When I went to my planet." He sighed, fondly. "So I'll need a few new colors. And a decent canvas. And....some glitter. The sky was...incredible, and I think that might be the only way to really capture it." As it had been in that memory he'd seen or as it was when he'd found it, he hadn't quite decided yet. Maybe both. And maybe there would be somewhere nice to hang it.

Caleb nodded and listened, smiling softly. “I want to see it when you’re done…and I’d love to go up there with you at some point, if you’ll have me.”
If it was something that was making Camille sound this happy...well. Caleb wanted to see it. Absolutely wanted to see it.
“What do you mean incredible? Like…can you describe it to me a little bit? I’d love to know.”
He wanted to know everything. A planet that his boyfriend enjoyed going to…perhaps it could turn into a place they would go together.
“I’ve never…gone to mine. But I can’t picture it being anything…beautiful. I’ve always…sort of thought of cinnamon candy? And my imagination has told me there’s volcanos or something awful.”

Camille hadn't even thought of taking anyone up to his world with him, but it seemed obvious, now that Caleb had mentioned it. "Of course," he said. "I'd be glad to take you up there with me. It might not be as impressive to you, though." Since....Camille was pretty sure that only he would hear-see-whatever any old magical memories lingering about.
"As it is now....it's always night, but the sky is so full of stars. Different stars, too, not the same ones we see from Earth, or not in the same places at least. It's a desert, but when I went, I was in this ruined city....and I saw it alive in my memories. It used to be so gorgeous, Caleb. Like something out of some high-budget fantasy game. Except, you know. Real."
Which sounded so silly when he said it. Oh well. The whole thing was a little bit out there; if he sounded like a moron trying to describe it, at least he knew Caleb wasn't going to get angry or annoyed about that.
"Maybe we can visit yours together, too? And if it's bad, we just...leave, and stay away? But maybe it'll be nice. Autumn or winter wonderland, or something. You know, for cinnamon." Not that Camille could claim to be an expert on where cinnamon came from, or whatever, but that sounded a little more likely than volcanoes?
....Volcanoes might be neat to see, though, he had to admit.
"And I can paint it, too. Your world. Whether it's beautiful or scary."

“I would really like that. Anything you love is impressive to me, Camille. Seriously. If it’s something you say is wonderful, then I’m sure it is.”
A sky filled with stars was always a beautiful thing…and something that was hard to get in the middle of such a busy city. The night sky was always comforting, and honestly…he wouldn't mind seeing it. Even if the world wasn’t bustling like a high fantasy game…a city in ruins just…meant a quiet place for the two of them to be together.
“I’d like that too. I hope it’s not as bad as I fear, but…I really like the idea of being able to go up with you. Not having to be alone makes it far less…intimidating.”
Not that…Caleb wanted it spread around that he was intimidated by anything. He was tough…and had a reputation to keep up…but.
With Camille? He could be honest.

Camille felt a warmth in his chest that had nothing to do with any promised hot drinks or...anything like that. Sometimes, he felt like maybe he hadn't known very well what it was like to have someone care for him, before--but obviously that had changed, since he'd changed sides.
"I'm glad you think so. We'll....definitely have to visit together, then." He smiled up at Caleb, in the doofy sort of way he really only let himself smile around him. "Both our worlds. We'll find whatever's up there together."
An adventure. Just fort he two of them.
"But for now....shopping, and then hot drinks?" Which, if they made it so, was no less a private little adventure, was it?
