Celebrity Gossip || Well, and gossip in general, but Lianhua will only admit to making a hobby out of following celebrity gossip. Wanting to know all the tea about her friends isn't a hobby, it's being an involved friend, obviously. In any case, she loves following who's dating who and who's having the latest feud and she can give you a dissertation on the Drake-Kendrick feud.
Fashion || Lianhua is a rich girl with a limitless credit card and parents who don't care what she spends her money on, and it has given her the opportunity to get really into high-end fashion. Sure, some of this ties in with her love of celebrity gossip--who's wearing who is a big deal--but also, she just likes looking flashy and being on top of the trends. She even has a small to mid-size following on TikTok for haul videos, #ootd showoffs, and fashion reviews.
Otomes and BL || Be they the latest kinda-derivative shitty otome isekai anime, some ridiculous BL transmigration novel, or a trashy visual novel from either gender, Lianhua is into it. Romance is her s**t, and these particular varieties of romance are the absolute most her s**t. She gleefully sinks hours into reading novels and playing games and following the world's most atrocious cliche webtoons because she's worth it, thank you very much.
Virtues:
Confident || Lianhua believes in herself, in her abilities, and in her sheer insistence on doing the best she can. She knows she's not perfect, sure, who is, but generally? She believes that if she puts her mind to it, she can do whatever she wants. And generally, she manages it.
Caring || Lianhua really does care about the people she loves, even if she isn't always the most straightforward at showing it. Sure, she's blunt about her care and she'll tell you to sort your ******** life out (Shuangxu), but it comes from a place of wanting the best for the people around her. Sometimes, the best way to care is to be a blunt instrument about it.
Decisive || Once Lianhua sets a course, she is on that course. She doesn't struggle with making choices, and decision paralysis is not a problem she ever has. She's glad to be the one in the friend group to actually decide where they're going for dinner, or to be the one in a group project who pushes forward on setting a topic. No need to waffle around or flip-flop; if you need a choice mad,e and made firmly, Lianhua is your girl.
Flaws:
Acerbic || Lianhua does not bother to mince words, dance around politeness, or otherwise censor herself. She's sharp-tongued, opinionated, and unhesitating about expressing said opinions. As far as Lianhua is concerned, there's no point in softening herself or trying to be oh-so-nice about things, when saying it like it is gets you further, faster.
Dramatic || Lianhua has been known to...make problems bigger than they are. Things become big productions with her, and it's at least partially because she loves 1) big productions, in general, and 2) big productions, starring her. So she will build something up, be a drama queen about it, and soak in the attention it gets her. Obviously, this can be incredibly annoying, but Lianhua is, ever, committed to the bit.
"Helper" || Lianhua does not always have enough drama in her life. Sometimes, that means that she has to insert herself into other people's problems and "fix" them. She usually really does mean well, but sometimes her assistance is unwanted, unhelpful, or otherwise unnecessary. Still, she will shove her way in if she decides that your s**t needs sorting out and she's the one to do it, regardless of anyone else's opinion on the matter--including and perhaps especially the person she's "helping."
