After the gargoyle incident Ian had spoken to Sasha more about the holiday season in the city, and all the things which had taken place in the past...at least everything he knew about. There were, he knew, plenty of things which happened each holiday season that he didn't know about. It wasn't that he didn't want to know, although he really didn't want to know, but also that he didn't get out a lot especially powered up. He knew what he saw talked about online though and there was plenty of things going on in the city each fall and winter. So he'd imparted plenty of information, and warning, to the other.
As much as he wished the other would do like he normally did - stay inside - that was not what happened. They were not staying inside and hioding for the next few months, till the city decided to stop messing with them, instead Sasha had decided they should go up to their homeworld. He wasn't sure why, not entierly anyway, but he knew the others homeworld was suffering and they wanted him to see. Perhaps to help figure a plan to help with things?
Either way they were walking away fro mthe Jacob's home, to a safe distance to power up, when he kicked something that almost felt like an acorn.

Even as Ian described all the dangerous and magical things that happened to this city, Sasha didn't let it get him down or dissuade him from going out. Maybe if the city was dangerous, it would be okay if he brought Ian to his homeworld instead.
With the plan for the evening in place, he excitedly ran along with them until they reached the edge of the property and powered up. It was then he noticed Ian stepping on an odd little cube and he reached down to pick up a similar one just up ahead. "What's this?" Looking back towards the other, everything seemed to shift and move, leaving the trees falling away and them both being pulled to somewhere else.

"That would be a game dice, I'll tell you about them later, but I'll say that it seems to also be magical and we're stuck now." Looking around them he stared at the gameboard laid out infront of them, at least it wasn't long or complicated. "So it looks like we're going to be playing a game. Roll the die in your hand and we step that many squares ahead." He said while rolling the dice in his hand.
"Do what I do...just follow what your die says and not what mine says or where I go." Assuming, and hoping, the other would do as he said. He had no idea the game board would stop him from going too far, he'd find that out soon enough.
"Let's just hope this isn't that bad, keep on alert and be safe." And he wished the other luck, he had a feeling they'd both need it. Stepping off his square and onto the next Ian thought he was safe-ish, he knew something had to happen, this city and it's magical antics were at times safe but not when they were packaged up like this. This sort of magical mischief said nothing but trouble, and danger, to him. So he wasn't surprised when something slammed into his back and sent himn toppling over and landing on the ground, his head smacking into a barrier, as he was thrown to the left in some failed attempt to throw him off the board entierly. "********!" Cursing as his knee hit the ground a bit too hard, his head aching from the hit, he sat there with a hand to his head gripping his hair and rubbing soothing circles.

Erinome felt a bit nervous when they explained things and even more so when they moved ahead and he couldn't follow. His hand stopped as it felt something solid and unwavering.
"Be safe." Looking with more than a bit of worry, he then mimicked their actions with his own dice and stepped forward. He wanted to stop in the square with them but some invisible force pushed him forward and away from them.
Looking back he again felt that solid and invisible wall preventing him from moving back towards Chaldene. But that worry was dwarfed as he felt a hot breath on the back of his neck and heard the growl of something large.
It was like that youma that they'd fought before and it had him freezing up and staying still, hoping the thing wouldn't attack him if he didn't move. Watching the other as he held the dice in his hand, his antennae quivered nervously.

(Using the first roll, since I messed up.)
Rolling his dice again Chaldene picked it up, eyeing the roll it had made, and looking at the barrier infront of him as it seemed to disolve for now. Heading the four steps forward, passing Sasha with a hand on their shoulder and a gentle squeeze given, he stopped on his new square. The barrier going up around him again. "I feel like a trapped animal in this place." Looking back to the other, who was only a square behind.
"Be safe...just know it's all magic...I don't think anything here can actually kill." At least he hoped not, he just wasn't going to say that last part aloud for the other to hear. But he didn't think that would happen...or could. Maybe though....
Freezing when he heard noise, his head turning forward quickly, Chaldene was surprised when something went by fast - fluttering his bangs. "Wind..." But it didn't seem like just wind? Because it was only in one place at a time...it didn't hit all of him and tug at his clothing or anything of the sort. "It's not normal here but I don't think it's dangerous either."

Magic he could sort of understand, even if it wasn't in the same way they did. But he still didn't like this game. It wasn't fun and weren't games supposed to be fun? At least the ones Chaldene had shown him were.
The pat on his shoulder did calm his nerves as did the assurance that it probably couldn't kill either of them. When he turned to track where they were going, just one square ahead, he was relieved to not see whatever had been growling.
Rolling his dice again and moving ahead and past them, the square he was in seemed okay at first. Something moved but he didn't catch it, maybe it was wind like they'd experienced?
But then he felt something sizzling and he gasped in shock as his leg started to burn. A bundle of snakes had appeared and one of them had been under his foot. The thing, being displeased at being stepped on, had spit acid on his ankle and he hurriedly tried to wipe it off by tearing part of his sash.

Watching the other move past him, reaching out to touch their arm lightly, Chaldene hoped he'd be ok. This wasn't an easy thing to handle, this city and it's magic, and Sasha was new to everything here and he was...well he wasn't as tough as some others were. He was an innocent as far as the eternal was concerned. It wasn't an insult but simply an observation.
Watching them ahead of him, and seeing the snakes, Chaldene went to shout a warning but it was too damn late. As he went to move something sliced through his pant leg, he didn't even notice it till he felt a wetness and a stinging. Looking down he started, not fully understanding. When he did realize, at least sort of, he still didn't see what had cut him but he knew his square wasn't safe. The dice he rolled put him ahead of the other and that's where he went - ahead of the other. Reaching out to nudge him out of the way of another snake. "Hurry up and roll - get moving." He didn't think he could do anything to help the other, couldn't drag the other with him, he doubted he could do anything with the snake or even be permitted to remain here and help. As he tried to linger he felt something nudging, and than pushing, him towards his own square.
Stopping on his own square, his new square, he could smell...smoke. Looking around and sniffing he shook his head. It didn't make sense...there was no palce for the smell to be coming from. Soon tehre was screaming and carnival music, like something out of a horror movie, it was unsettling especially when something bumped into him...knocked into his shoulder. And he felt the brush of an arm against his. More screaming, in his ears, and he wondered why he saw nothing...no reason for the smell and just ghostly brushes against him. At least nothing was out right attacking him though - right?

Again they passed him and he looked up to see Chaldene leave his square after a quick moment. The snakes didn't bother the other senshi and as soon as he rolled his dice, they no longer bothered him either. Limping slightly, he moved forward past them and into another square.
As soon as his foot touched the square, he felt himself sinking. Losing his balance, he fell forward. With his arms in front of him to brace himself, he was surprised when he didn't meet a solid floor but the sticky and silken strands of a spider's web. Moving to sit, he scooted back out towards the edge. He knew spiders ate moths on this planet and the size of this web meant it was large enough that he might be on the menu.
"Ah!" Seeing and feeling the web vibrate beneath him, he reached a hand up to try and grab for the dice so he could roll it and escape.

"When we get home I'm looking at where the snake got you. I would help but I'm unsure what the game will, and won't, allow. It won't allow us to stay on a square which is not our own though...not for long anyway. So you need to keep yourself as safe as y ou can, please." Having observed the snakes biting at the other he shook his head, turning about in his own square, his green eyes landing on the other.
"Just keep calm...we'll get out of this." Having noticed, just as the other had, qhat was going on with the wbe and the spider. "Roll and move...we'll get home sooner and look each other over." He felt bad not being able to help Sasha, really he did, but damn it if this game wasn't trouble. It wouldn't allow them to work together, or even stick around long enough to assist before moving on to their own place.
While he was focused on the other he didn't notice, till it was too late, what he was in for. Bats were hitting him and biting and turning he swung and kicked and wiggled and jumped trying to get them off him. One went flying somewhere, he didn't see where, and another got kicked by accident...kinda. He was not liking this one bit, at least they couldn't get through his boots.

"Okay." More bandages and more medicines but at least things should be okay he figured. He was getting the hang of rolling his dice and moving forward even if the squares were really not that great.
Moving again just past Chaldene, just the next square over, he spotted the flying things that were swarming them but he couldn't effect them even as he went through their square. Reaching out to try swatting them away, his hand passed through the air as if nothing was there.
When he got to his next square, he'd been paying too much attention to Chaldene to notice the sound of cracking at first. Turning to look after he heard a second, much louder, crack leaving him with just a second to yelp as the floor gave out beneath him and he sunk into the icy water.
It was freezing, colder than he'd ever dealt with before and his hands scrambled for one of the larger floating chunks of ice to try and pull himself up.

When the dice rolled once more, and the bats were away enough for him to see the dice, Chaldene was so damn happy with what he saw. It meant he was done with this chaos. The only problem was Sasha was not. Stepping forward and to the end he waited and watched the other. "Come on Sasha, lets get oout of here. Let's go home and I'll let you have fruit and honey - as much as you want." He was hoping that talking, encouraging the other, would somehow give him luck and hope in all this.
"I'll check you over for injuries.." And he'd take a hot shower, because he was freezing. He knew he could elave, he was certain of it, but he wasn't going to leave without the other. He had to make sure the other made it back safe and that they were ok, mentally and emotionally more than physically he figured.['size]

The dice rolled but it was a low number and he stopped just a few squares short of the end where Chaldene was, leaving him standing in a square that had a an odd-smelling green gas.
It had him gagging as he moved forward and looked down at his hands, something was wrong in the way he felt. Very wrong. To say that he was about to panic might be an understatement because getting past some of the things here was one thing but as he looked down and saw his skin melting away, a scream came from the small senshi.
This wasn't something he thought his magic could fix but he did try, calling on his magic and the illusory moths to try and stop what was going on as he kept looking to try and see if anything was helping.

Watching the other, hoping they'd reach the end with this roll, Chaldene was displeased to see them still short of where he was - the exit. "Breath easy." Seeing the green gas filling the square where the other was. "Slow breaths and you'll be ok." At least he thought so, he hoped so, he didn't trust what the gas would or even could do but he had to hope this game couldn't kill people. Hearing the scream though had the eternal rushing to try and leave his safe space and get to the other.
"it's ok! You're fine." Because he didn't see what had them screaming, so he was assuming it was the gas and something the other was feeling. "Just roll the dice again - please."

Managing to nudge the die with his foot, Erinome wasted no time bolting from the square towards Chaldene. As soon as he got away from the gas, all the horrible damage he'd seen being done to himself disappeared. It was a relief as he dashed into the other and clung.
"Home..." He didn't like this place and he was still wet and cold from where he'd fallen in the water.

Wrapping his arms about the smaller senshi he nodded his head. "Yeah, and a bath for you to warm you up." He could use a shower himself, and maybe wash his hair, he didn't like how dirty he felt having been here and dealt with this place. Even if he wasn't dirty he somehow felt it...this place was creepy and not in a good, haunted house, kinda way. "This is why I warned you about the fall. Fall and winter in this city are a bit out of control and unpredictable." And certainly unsafe, both physically and mentally. This city was a mess to say the least.
