Maybe you noticed it in one of the old buildings–someone watching you, or someone you didn’t see brushing against you. Maybe you noticed the chill, or a voice you heard but on one seemed to. Maybe you caught something out of the corner of your eye. Maybe you only noticed it when you were alone. Something has followed you. Maybe it is a soothing presence, or maybe it feels dangerous and unnerving. Even if you see a glimpse of the apparition, you cannot make out fine details or communicate with them. They will linger, maybe for a short while or maybe until dawn, but they always disappear without a trace by sunrise.

Sable was interested in the historical tour and more so that it was being themed as a ghost tour because of the season. She was wearing a warm coat since the night air was starting to chill and she wasn't sure how long the tour was but she was confident that it would be a walking tour. She walked up to the group that was gathering for this tour and she looked around curious about who else was coming on this tour. She didn't really care since there was no reason to use powers on a normal afternoon and no one knew who anyone else was anyway.
This evening was about just having a little bit of fun, later she would get back to work. So far everything seemed pretty normal about this tour but considering this city she doubted she would manage to get through even something this simple without something weird happening.

Jadyn shoved his hands in the pockets of his favorite Captain America jacket as he wandered up to where the ghost tour was going to start. He thought it was going to be cheesy, but he could use the exercise. Ghost tours and spooky Halloween stuff had always been fun when he was a kid, but it hadn't seemed to matter as much as he grew older. But he was trying new things again, making sure that he did everything he could to fill in the blanks in his memory.
He paused next to a young woman who looked to be a few years younger than he was. "How's it going?" he asked and offered her a smile, mostly being polite, but he would never turn down a new friend if that's how things shook out. "Think we'll see any actual ghosts?" He chuckled at that, leaning down to rub his knee a bit. He didn't believe in ghosts, not really, but he did believe that anything was possible. Especially during October.

Sable looked at the guy who started talking to her in the tour group, she might be corrupt as a senshi but she didn't have to be a jerk in her everyday life so she said "It's going alright, this is my favorite time of year and this kind of stuff is fun." She noticed he was a little older than her but she really didn't care. She wondered if he knew the magical side of this city or was just a normal guy, since she had no way to check it was a moot point. "Who knows." She said honestly as the tour group started to move forward and they were taken to the first building that the tour guide started talking about. She considered telling the guy her name, but she wasn't sure if it was really necessary. She felt a chill in the air but she figured that was just the season, not something supernatural. The information about the building and the ghost stories were interesting though, she was curious if they were true or just something the city had made up to up the hype of the season.

He nodded at her response. "Halloween is a pretty cool time of year," he said. Christmas was his favorite holiday, but he wouldn't put any other holiday down just because it wasn't his favorite. As the tour started Jadyn followed, listening to the guide as they talked about the building. He was looking at the architecture when he thought he saw movement out of the corner of his eye. But when he looked, no one was there. Weird...
He was toward the back of the group, and there was no one close enough to him to warrant the kind of movement he thought he had seen. He glanced at the girl he'd been talking to but she didn't seem to have seen anything. Maybe it was just the season playing tricks on his mind.

Sable hadn't noticed anything this time, she had only felt the feeling she let the common go that this was a pretty cool time of year, since it seemed he was just saying that for small talk or maybe he really did like this time of year she really didn't care. They finished at the first location and started to move towards the next location and she felt like something was following the group. She turned and looked but she didn't see anything. It was a curious feeling but if it was a ghost maybe they weren't focused on her and that was why she couldn't see them.

She didn't seem to be into small talk, which was fine with him. Mostly. He had a tendency to talk a lot when it was quiet, but he tried to focus on listening to the tour guide instead. He followed the group and kept an eye out for any weird happenings. He still wasn't sure that ghosts were real, but a weird feeling was still creeping over him. He tried to shake it off but something still felt... weird. And the hairs on the back of his neck were starting to do that thing, like Spidey Senses or whatever. Almost like there was a youma nearby... But it wasn't quite the same feeling.
Regardless, he wrapped his fingers around the pen in his pocket, just in case.

Sable was listening to the tour guide and she was looking up at the old building that was described to be haunted by the ghost of a woman who had been killed by their lover. No shocker there many ghost stories went along those lines, it was still amusing so she was enjoying the tour. She caught movement in one of the windows but she couldn't be certain what she had seen. She looked around the rest of the tour group to see if anyone else had seen the movement as well.

It always seemed to be a lovers' quarrel that created ghost stories. Couldn't these ghosts be more original? Haunt out of spite, or something. Anyway. The tour was looking to be about what he had expected. A tour of old buildings with made up ghost stories just for fun for Halloween.
He sighed, but stopped short when he thought he saw movement in a window. Glancing at the girl he'd spoken to earlier, he asked "Did you see that?" He couldn't be crazy. Please don't let him be crazy on top of losing memories.

Sable turned to look where he was talking and she saw the movement too, so she nodded "Yes maybe it is a draft or something in the building or maybe there is an actor up there to make the tour more exciting for guests?" She suggested. She wasn't sure if ghosts were a real thing or not, the city had a lot of magic but she had never seen a ghost.

A draft? Yeah, maybe she was right. An actor would make sense, too. Especially if they wanted to sell the "haunted" part of the tour. "Yeah, yeah, that makes sense," he said, though something still didn't really feel right.
He continued with the tour, seeing a few more instances of movement in windows but not saying anything else for now. It was just actors making the tour more interesting and believable.
Right?

As the tour came to an end Sable turned to the guy she had been talking to and said "Or it could have been ghosts all along you never know with this city." She laughed as she turned and walked away leaving him with that weird spooky note to end the evening on.
