Haunted Tour (10) : There are plenty of themed events during the Halloween season, and Destiny City has turned one of its historic tours into a themed ghost tour. It’s fairly cozy and lighthearted for the most part; some stories are haunting, and some are silly. It’s a clever way to get new people interested in the history of the city, and one particular tour has garnered quite a buzz thanks to the rumors of one very curious ghost taking a tour of its own–following you. Maybe you noticed it in one of the old buildings–someone watching you, or someone you didn’t see brushing against you. Maybe you noticed the chill, or a voice you heard but on one seemed to. Maybe you caught something out of the corner of your eye. Maybe you only noticed it when you were alone. Something has followed you. Maybe it is a soothing presence, or maybe it feels dangerous and unnerving. Even if you see a glimpse of the apparition, you cannot make out fine details or communicate with them. They will linger, maybe for a short while or maybe until dawn, but they always disappear without a trace by sunrise.
Dreama collected her ticket from the ticket seller and climbed unto the riverboat. Taking an empty aisle seat, she placed her bag in the window as she did when she did anything spooky - haunted tours, scary movies, the like.

She sighed. She'd really rather not be here, but one of her Destiny City University classes required a cultural experience, while another required a historical experience -bonus points awarded for spookiness - due to the season - so she 'killed two birds with one stone' - as Americans put it and got them knocked out at the same time. Only thing was - she didn't like haunted stuff, whether it be buildings, boats or tours. Especially when the seat or space next to you was empty - because that was where ghosts liked to hang out on a tour like this. In fact, on a tour like this they might even be the person sitting next to you. Shuddering at the thought, she got ready for the tour and 'put her listening ears on' as Americans might say to young children.

The Tour Guide came up to her at that moment, and requested she empty the two seats between her and the window; "Miss, these two gentlemen are requesting to sit together, and the only two adjoined seats left are the two between you and your row's window. Would you mind..."

Dreama did not look at him or them, but quietly moved her stuff, moved herself so that they could get in and gestured for them to go ahead.

After everyone had settled in, the Haunted Destiny City Tour by Riverboat (HDCTR) began. There was no talking during the tour, but there were definitely some screams and some gasps - especially as some of the Tour Recipients found some of the so-called Axe-murdering ghosts among themselves. Dreama rolled her at the end and muttered, "So fake..."

As the riders in front of her fell over themselves trying to get out, shouting and exclaiming that the tour was 'so real' and 'that their heart had nearly stopped' or 'that they had neared wet themselves, Dreama just continued to roll her eyes and muttering, 'Whatever, so boring. And I should know." Heck, she had fallen asleep during it and had woken herself up snoring. That bad.

The ticket counter was now snapping souvenir pictures of everyone next to cardboard cut outs of ghosts of Heartbreak Hank, and Drowsing Dara. As Dreama had to have proof of her experiences, she went in for the pic. Interestingly, the two guys from her row joined - though she was still not looking at them. The cameraman made a copy for each of them, and the two insisted on writing a note for her on her copy. (Their voices sounded familiar, but from where, she did not know.) So, she wrote something half-heartedly on each of theirs.

It was not until she got home later that night, that she actually looked at the picture. To her shock, she found that the two brothers, were her own older, and sometime deceased brothers, Kelly and Quinn. The back read, "Hey Dreama, hope you are doing well chasing those dreams of yours, Love you, Kelly and Quinn."
