Illyria had believed in him and he was determined to do more to help wherever he could. At some point, he knew it might be better to find someone to go out with him on patrol but he didn’t want to bother Urania or Daedalus. Maybe he’d ask Illyria soon for advice but tonight he was okay wandering even as he felt something rather uncomfortable nearby. It didn’t feel that strong but he knew it was chaos.
Stepping into the park, he saw that this fountain was actually working which was a plus but then he thought he saw a long-haired lady near someone on a park bench.
—----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Really she should find somewhere other than the park to gather energy. It seemed like it was becoming too popular and she didn't have anyone to do things with her to make things safer. Beni was busy, so was Hux and while she knew she could call upon Stichtite or Miyamoto…She just didn't want to bother either unless she had to. The order signature she felt was stronger than her which was great…Meinel already knew she was going to be interrupted so she turned from the civilian she was draining, rolling her eyes at the senshi that approached her.
Keeping her hand on the civilian she put one hand on her hip while she continued to drain, “Can I help you? I am a little busy and frankly, I really don't want to fight you.. Please leave.”
—-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Cautiously moving towards the senshi, he really didn’t like the way they felt but he hated what they were doing even more. That poor civilian looked really out of it, too out of it and he worried that they were getting hurt.
“You shouldn’t be doing that, that’s their energy, not yours.” Running his hand over the metal and porcelain of his arm he knew this wasn’t going to be pleasant but nobody else was here to help so he was going to help and then make sure that person got home safe.
“You’re in the wrong and I think you need a time-out.” Stepping forward, he willed his magic out and felt not the greatest from it but it seemed to work more often than not nowadays. Even if he was tired it was better to try and do something instead of standing by, nothing would get done otherwise.
—-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Meinel rolled her eyes at their statement, continuing to drain energy. She frowned at the way the senshi was speaking, what was this? One of those baby senshi she's heard about? “What are you? A chibi?” she was seriously confused….Would it be right to hit a kid? Whose bright idea was it to bring children into this anyway? “T-Time out?! What are you, a toddler?!” She was flabbergasted, so much in fact that she stopped draining the civilian.
She was not expecting to be transported somewhere that just felt….Wrong.
“Huh?” she was in water, it was dark, and she was wet. Gross.
“Excuse me?!” Her voice echoed and bounced off of the walls, creating a slow sense of dread that she couldn't shake. “This isn't funny!!!” Her voice continued to echo and she whimpered while looking around. What if she never made it out?! What if she was stuck here forever?! Meinel’s breathing started to pick up the more she thought about it. She didn't want to be stuck here in the gross water! She had ballet class in the morning and she needed to text Andy to remind him to wake up?! “Nononono!” The senshi ran her finger along the palm of her hand, emitting a sweet floral scent.
She didn't know what activating her powers would do but she had to do something right?
Another idea went through her head and she reached through subspace, sending out an immediate SOS to the first person she saw on her list: Stichtite.
—---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sure he might be small but a chibi? He hadn’t been a chibi in… longer than this woman’s family had ever been around probably. He wasn’t sure how to feel about it still since even Miss Ida was way younger than he was even if he did look up to her and Miss Illyria. Moving closer as the senshi kind of wandered around and made a ruckus he swung at her just once to try and make her think twice of draining a civilian.
What he wasn’t expecting was to feel rather sick all of a sudden being so close to her. It wasn’t great and he still managed to land a hit but he wasn’t sure it would do much considering he was still pretty new to trying to punch things and this was the first time he was swinging at someone instead of a blob of grossness like he had up on Daedalus.
Something felt even worse though as he thought he felt something else popping up, another chaos aura and he didn’t like that one bit.
—------------------------------------------------------------------
Out on patrol and gathering energy, Stichtite had been enjoying what was a peaceful and productive evening until he felt a pull and SOS from his cousin. It wasn’t Benitoite but Meinel this time and he cursed slightly before abandoning his route to make his way over.
Teleporting in, he managed to get there as he saw an odd grey teen with a prosthetic punching his younger cousin. Sighing he ran his hand back through his bang and brought out his daggers. “I recommend you step back from them, you shouldn’t be doing such activities with something like that.” It wasn’t really recommended to punch with something like that but it didn’t seem to bother this teen as he stepped in close.
“I’m here.” Not knowing what was going on with his cousin he called out without saying either name just in case, he didn’t need this senshi knowing anything. He also wasn’t sure if his cousin would appreciate watching him hunt this one down, that was more something Beni or Miyamoto was more aligned with and he wanted to keep things a bit less harsh around his younger cousin since she was still new and a senshi. It wouldn’t be the same as him fighting, there wasn’t that same up close and personal bit as he had punching or slicing at a senshi.
—------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
That punch managed to knock Meinel out of the illusion, but at what cost? The hit landed right on her cheek, which knocked her to the ground. At first, she was in shock. Then the smarting happened and her hand flew to her cheek as if she couldn't believe it. Watery blue eyes looked up at the senshi, full of hurt. “You…..You hit me….” the tears started and she slowly got up, sniffling and looking at her opponent with a sudden rage. “You HIT me!”
Oh….Oh she's never wanted to take a starseed until now.
But then she heard her cousin's voice and instantly turned to him with tears coming down her cheeks. “They hit me!” While she was in fact, nineteen, that didn't mean she wasn’t above using her cousins to hurt someone, especially if they decided to get physical. Her cheek was going to be fine…She hopped. But either way, she was hoping for Stich to teach that no good fake arm having thing a lesson.
She would also need to train more with Beni if she wanted to avoid getting hit in the future.
—--------------------------------------------------------------
Procyon felt very small as the tall blonde man just appeared out of nowhere, he’d never seen that before and he already didn’t like it. The other one was whining and he felt a bit bad but he was in the right, she’d been hurting that civilian and he honestly hadn’t hit her that hard in his opinion but at the same time he wasn’t exactly the best at gauging how things were with his arm.
Looking between the two blondes he held his fists up as if he was going to attempt to fight. Maybe if he could get them to run he could get that civilian away. “And I’ll do it again if you don’t leave these people alone!” Giving them a determined look he hoped this wouldn’t go too horribly.
—-------------------------------------------------------------------
Giving Meinel a quick look over to make sure she was okay, he pulled his daggers out and stepped in front of her. “Well if you’re so keen on punching her then how about someone on a similar level?” Stepping forward he moved quickly and sliced at the small senshi, going for their side and feeling it tear through the fabric of their fuku.
He wouldn’t show it, not in front of his cousin but he was maybe enjoying the prospect of getting to hunt this little senshi and his actions were quick, leading him to get more distance between this grey senshi and his cousin just in case they thought to try something other than punch back. If they didn’t use their magic he would be perfectly fine with it, he wasn’t too keen on having to deal with anything like that tonight.
—-------------------------------------------------------
Looking from behind her cousin, Meinel did the very unlady-like thing and pulled down the bottom of her eye, sticking her tongue out and flipping the smaller senshi off. She leaped backwards, hoping to get to the civilian once Stichtite chased the annoying little thing off or killed it, whichever came first. She just wanted to finish her quota and go to bed, then see if she could find some home remedies for bruising so that she wouldn't have to deal with it in the morning.
—----------------------------------------------------------
Oh no, this was not good, and they were fast. Stepping back, he tried to bob and weave away from the taller guy’s daggers because they looked rusted, and that he knew was dangerous. But he hadn’t been able to really get out of the way fast enough and he pulled a hand to his side where they’d gotten him. Pulling his hand away he saw blood but the oddest feeling of numbness tingled through is side and that felt like a bad sign.
Another step back, trying to get away, he felt worse for the civilian and the girl’s rude face just added insult to injury. Even though he hurt and needed to get away, he couldn’t really do that while they were aware. If he’d had Selinur here or maybe Illyria to help he’d be better prepared for this but… neither was here so he had to try something else.
Changing things up, he took a step forward and cast out his magic, there was enough space that he thought both might get hit by it just long enough for him to run. If he could use that glamor of his he could dip away and find his way back home, it seemed like a good enough idea and he knew Illyria would worry about him being injured.
He could tell it did something, at least partially because the forward motions of the blonde male ceased and they looked like they were trying to find something. Procyon took the opportunity to run, making a break for it as he held his side and took clumsy steps.
—------------------------------------------------------------
Pursuing one step at a time, getting them to back away as he toyed with them and waited for an opportunity to go for their starseed. They seemed smart enough though not to move their arms from where they were blocking access and it was bothersome.
What was even worse was just as the senshi took a step closer and he had went to reach for them, everyhtign warped and changed. Instead of standing on the pavement late at night, he found himself in a hospital. The walls were empty of the normal signage and that eerie yet familiar hum of fluorescent lights was absent.
Abby wasn’t anywhere nearby either, not that he could tell so he stood still and just turned, looking carefully to try and figure if they had actually teleported him somewhere somehow or if this was just some sort of illusion.
“Can you hear me?” Turning as he thought he saw a shadow dip around the corner, he sent his blade away and touched the wall. It felt real enough but as he followed it, he could also feel as if his feet were catching on a curb or pavement and not the trip hazard-free linoleum that he seemed to be standing on.
—------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Oh no….
Meinel knew the senshi had tried to dupe her again with their magic. She saw Stich wandering around like he was somewhere else, while the senshi he was chasing took off. Instead of going after them, she ran up to Stich, worrying her lip before raising her hand to slap him across the face. Not hard enough to cause any damage, but enough to hopefully break him of the illusion he was under. Since the senshi was probably long gone by now, Meinel decided to talk, “S-Stich? I'm sorry but that was the only way to break you out of it.” Her voice sounded small, like she figured she would be in trouble. Even if he was one of her older cousins, Stitch was a rank above her. If she knew anything from how her father ran his business, that was a no no.
—-----------------------------------------------------------------------
He’d just turned a corner when he felt something connect with his face and his vision flickered. Shaking his head he looked down and saw Abby. “That was… unpleasant. Are you alright? I’m guessing they scampered off.” Looking around he didn’t see the senshi anywhere and that bothered him, maybe he’d look for them later after he got Abby home.
“You’re fine, it would have faded otherwise at some point but I think we should get you home. Your face looks alright, he didn’t look like he could hit very hard but still, I don’t like the fact he tried at all.” Smoothing his uniform and taking a look over the passed-out civilian, he felt things were at least not going horribly wrong. It seemed they’d gotten part of their quota if not all but he knew Alexandre wouldn’t mind covering for any of the family when it really came down to it.
—---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“Y-Yeah, I'm still mad that stupid senshi hit me but I think I need to get better at hitting back.” She was pretty good with her feet but she needed her fits to match as well so that way she would be a force to be reckoned with. Her blue eyes followed him to the civilian and while she wanted to keep draining… “Can we just go home? I Think I want to take a soapy bath.”
—-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“Okay, I’ll get you home and then I would recommend talking with our cousin about that. He’s a bit more experienced in this all than I am.” Plus he knew that Rene was a corrupt too so that meant she’d get to practice against another senshi as well instead of just with officers.
“After you soak, make sure to keep a warm compress on your cheek just in case or and ice pack depending on how it feels. You should be alright but that will help it feel better a bit faster.” Offering his hand, he’d get her close enough to her home to power down and walk the rest of the way before he made his own way back. He did hope he might come across that senshi again but with how far it was from here the odds weren’t in his favor tonight.
