After the gathering Kioshi had a lot to think about and he wasn't going to do it alone, because he needed an opinion from someone else, it wasn't that he didn't know what the best course of action was because he did. He knew was he should do but he also knew what he wanted to do, what duty demanded he do, but he needed someone to be the voice of reason and tell him which choice to make. He knew the choice he wanted to make, knew what he also should make for a choice, and he needed the other to tell him which was ok to make and excuse the one he didn't make. He just needed the approval, whichever way he decided, and he knew only one person who would provide him that. Lorcan.
He stopped at home to pick up a few things and he was heading over to the others home, after doing the polite thing and texting ahead. He let the other know that he'd missed a meeting, but not to worry that he'd been there, he'd fill him in when he got there. He did warm Lorcan that he was bringing Omen, and would clean up in the morning, but he wasn't leaving the cat alone overnight. Omen would, in all likelihood, throw a fit come morning when breakfast was not served right on time and it was due to an absent owner. He was not dealing with that when he walked in the door, as Omen was likely to try and trip him on his face, he swore his death wouldn't be due to senshi or knight but rather due to an upset cat who tripped him.
The drive over, with Omen in a crate on the passenger seat, was quick as traffic was nearly non-existent, and when he did arrive he moved to check his phone for a response back from Lorcan. It would be rather impolite to walk up to his door never having checked his phone, and potentially missed a text telling him he couldn’t spend the night, so he checked his phone as he sat in the drivers seat.

Lorcan got the text from Kioshi and had already resigned himself to a dose of allergy medication and Flonase in preparation for the cat's arrival. He wouldn't really put the cat out if Kioshi hadn't found someone to feed them and he did like them just a bit even if his face and nose said otherwise.
Opening the door and stepping outside after he turned the light on, he looked for the other and waved them in as he saw them parking. "So are you here to let me know about the meeting?"
Keeping things vague while they were still outside he needed to be brought up to speed as he'd had a patient to take care of and had missed things.

He knew bringing Omen with him was a burden on the other, that they were allergic and would need to take medication, and he really did feel for the other on that. It was a good thing weren't talking about living together, and likely wouldn't bring that topic up for at least a year, because Omen would be an issue then. Omen was his cat, even t hough Kioshi often felt like his cat owned him, and he wasn't goign to be giving him up. He'd taken him in knowing the comitment he was making and accepting it, it meant he was in this for however long Omen decided to grace Kioshi with his presence. It meant he was to take care of the cat and he would; always. It just meant nights liek this would happen from time to time.
Seeing the front light flick on he smiled to the cat, glaring up at him from inside his crate. "Looks like we're good to go inside." Opening the car door he climbed out and reaching across the center console he pulled the crate out as well. Omen was, regrettably, getting heavier and he was not easy to hold for long periods of time. For now the litter box, and food and bowls, would remain in his car as he'd get them after dropping Omen in the house with Lorcan. The walk up to the front door, and the Lorcan, was slow due to the weight and bulk of the crate. "Of course, I also need a professional opinion seeing as you are my doctor."
Slipping around Lorcan, in order to let Omen inside, he brushed his fingers against the others cheek before turning and heading back to his car to get the rest they'd need for the night. "I take it you were busy so missed the meeting. It was worth it, the news was good and the food was even better. I can't say the decor was something I fancied but I'm not much for such things." Shrugging as he spoke in general terms that no one listening to them would find suspicious, since they were out in the open and he was gtalking across a distance.
Balancing everything else he'd need, no easy task, he smiled lightly as he returned to the front door. "Watch for his crate - it's behind you and to the right just a bit. I think he ran off as soon as I opened the door to let him out." Omen did not like his crate, hated it in fact, and had run off into the house as soon as he'd opened the door.

Seeing a flash of black and hearing the sound of things being bumped into and knocked over, Lorcan sighed and rubbed at his temple. "Yes, I had a patient who met the wrong side of one of their classmate's lacrosse sticks. Broken nose then I had to send in a referral for a dentist to fix the chips on their front teeth." Idiots... but at least it was a normal thing in a way. Stuff happened in sports and at least it wasn't too bad.
Making sure the door was closed and locked, he stepped over the crate and pressed a soft kiss to Kioshi's cheek. "Yes let me know, especially if you are asking for medical advice. You aren't getting into one of those large fights like you did where you thought it was brilliant to punch into a glass case?" The tease was light but honestly, it was more concern because he knew the other didn't always use all of their head.
"I'll get some tea started while you explain things, I need to take something for this migraine before it really starts." They weren't even a fraction as bad as the others were but he also tried to get ahead of them when he could.

"That sounds so...normal and easy." The normal things were at times a blessing, they were more predictable and easier to handle, but he wasn't about to trade the Negaverse and the chaos which came with it for nothing but normal things. Easy didn't mean better or right...just easy and less stressful, which was good for his health, really those easy things became precious in a way...a glimmer of something special to be enjoyed while it was there. At least when he was working on an easy client, or doing something like this. This seemed normal enough for a couple, ignoring the conversation they were having, at least he thought this seemed normal enough.
Setting things down he stood up and right into a kiss to his cheek, something which brought a smile to his features. "Mm, no I'm not planning on breaking glass with some part of my body. There was however a gathering tonight, as I'm sure you heard, an announcment was attatched to said gathering. It's the announcment that has me seeking your professional opinion."
Taking the time, as Lorcan headed for the kitchen, to tidy up Omen's things he soon joined the other amd began talking again. "It would seem the bosses have aquired a club and will be using it as a cover for energy gathering. Lessen the need for starseeds and make things safer. They want us there, as civilians, to gather energy and while I'm all for assisting in such things you know the issues such a thing might pose for me." Fitting how he was discussing his own issues with migraines while Lorcan seemed to be getting one, though the other was lucky they were not nearly as bad as his own were. Stepping up behind him, laying his head between their shoulder blades, his hands came up and around to Lorcan's temples as he pressed gently.
Letting his fingers cool to the touch, nice and chill, as he rubbed gently as the other boiled water. "I would liek to help but I know I'm likely to pay a price for that help. Tell me, what would you suggest." Because he did want to help, even at the cost of his own well being, it wasn't a big give really...not for someone who'd had how many migraines already. But he knew it wasn't good to allow himself to have one, knowingly, even though he had medication it wasn't a hundread percent perfect and would keep him from having an issue later on.

"Normal yes, easy.... I would avoid saying that. A nurse might throw something at you if that word or the Q one comes out." That and full moons were things that were better left unsaid during rotations. He'd dealt with enough craziness in the ER and he preferred his clinic with the very few occasions that he had to do anything for an emergency case.
"Good because I hope you avoid doing things like that now that I'm watching your health. The announcement I did see come across but it was rather quickly and I didn't get much time to look it over since I wanted to get home after you messaged me." He had to clean up a bit after his niece and nephew had spent some time over the night before while his brother had been in town for a work trip.
Oh, that wasn't something he liked the sound of and he knew it would be bad for Kioshi as well. "Loud people and music as well as flashing lights... that sounds absolutely wonderful for you." Rolling his eyes, he sighed in relief as their cold touch settled in on his temples. It helped and he leaned his head back slightly to rest on theirs.
"I'll attend as well to make sure you're alright. I have to assume there are a few places that will be quiet enough for you there. I recommend earplugs if possible or I believe those loop ones? They may have them in a store, but we can pick them up before then since we have some time." Even if he didn't like the idea of things he could stick to the quieter areas as well to avoid things. It also meant he could watch for anyone who might get too drained if that was possible. Since things were still being tested there could be hiccups still.

He could understand that, about not saying certain words in a hospital, people did believe in jinxes and the like didn't they. Say something wasn't happening and it suddenly would. be glad the weather was nice and suddenly it would start to pour. Yes, he did understand that though he didn't give any mind to such things himself. He had heard it enough.
Laughing softly against their back, his arms about their waist keeping the other in place. "That's why I thought to ask you, since you do watch my health and mind it as much as I do." Most of the time anyway, he was certain there were times like now when Lorcan was more mindful than he was. This was why he wanted the others opinion on the matter, it would be given as a professional.
"You and I both know that it sounds like a nightmare for me, and it likely will turn into one." But he had medication and Lorcan was here as well, he'd survive it. "The loop ones, I've been looking into them actually and was considering them." He'd been looking over the different models and trying to figure what the best pair would be, as well as how much difference there were between models - it all seemed the same to him...or at least it should all be the same. "I could use the noise reduction but I'll still need to hear some things." So he'd need a pair which would allow for some hearing while taking out the music...he wished he could try a pair on and see how they did before deciding which ones to use for that night. He didn't need ones that didn't cancel enough...or ones that did the opposite either.
Letting the other lean his head back, the back of Lorcan's head resting atop his own, he kept up the gentle cooling massage. "It'll help make quota, assuming it'll count for us each." And he could easily keep to the others side in such a place. Though what Lorcan would wear...that would be interesting. "Mmm, I think we can consider it a working date if you'd like."
