"Aella? Aella! Hey!" Ming cried out as he stumbled past a couple trying to enjoy their drinks. "Ah, sorry. Sorry! Ignore me." He quickly rushed over to his seat and grinned over at Aella. "Honestly, I was so caught up in the job search I've forgot to enjoy myself lately. Totally didn't know places like this existed in Barcelona. It's incredible. What are you drinking? I wanna try it."

Aella smiled as Ming rushed over. "You made it! I’m glad." She lifted her glass, filled with something bright and fruity. "This? Some pineapple-mango cocktail. Go ahead and order, I'll get Levi now that you're here." Aella pulled the summoning stone from her backpack to activate it.

"Ay, Dios Mío!" one of the servers yelped in the peripherals of both Aella and Ming...probably because some handsome blond haired guy just evaporated into existence. But, without even looking, Levi just waved his hand slowly in her face and said "These aren't the droids your looking for..." to which she repeated back in a trance...looked around a bit...and then went back inside asking her coworkers if they had seen any droids recently and that she was looking for them. No one else seemed to mind that Levi just...poofed out of nowhere.
"Hey Aella," Levi waved and shot her a charming smile...just before gingerly pointing at the guy, "This is the guy I take it..." He...looked normal. Couldn't see any notable sin on him either. Levi pulled up a chair and just sat down...looking over Ming as if he was judging him for his touristy attire-which he was. "Why are you even in Barcelona?"

Ming perked up a bit as he suddenly heard the woman's cry. His eyes flicking to the side and spotting him. While Ming looked absolutely stunned by what was going on, Mimir was just cackling within his own head. Instead of following Levi as he sat down, Ming's eyes followed the woman. He blinked a few times and mumbled, "Was that our waitress?" Ming focused back on Levi after that. He was unassuming really. Tall and toned but not rippling with muscle or ready to even be a bouncer. Ming tilted his head to the side like a dog as Levi asked him why he was even her. "I mean, it's hard to describe. I came from a small village in China so I really always wanted to see the world. Moved to the nearest city first and got pretty good at all sorts of jobs. Ming, the big-time city boy!" He flashed them a cheesy grin and shot them with some finger guns. "But I uh... I realized even that was such tiny part of the world. Aella helped me work up the courage to see more of it but it's..." Ming raised one hand up and scratched the back of his head while giving a worried smile. "It's not really going that great."

Poor Ming. Aella pat him on the shoulder and looked up at Levi, expecting a rather quick judgement from him. "Ming helped me find my feet when I got stuck out in China. I would like to do the same for him since he was brave enough to come with me to Barcelona."

As the two talk, the Devil leaned back and crossed his arms over his chest. His heterochromatic eyes narrowed, the blue and green gems of his eyes barely visibly through those judgmental slits. Something just...didn't line up with what this young guy said. He couldn't see that he was some psycho by his 'sin'...nor did he seem to have any arcane signature...so all that was left was...
Suddenly Aella said something that caused Levi's to turn to her with a brow raised. "Wait, so did you intended for him to follow you to Barcelona?" Well, if that was the case then it kinda stomped on his mental judgements. "Shi*, I guess that's fine...because otherwise," He gestured at Ming with an open hand, uncaring that he was right there, "A man who travels well over 5000 miles for 'explore the world', broke as Fu**, doing odd jobs in some of the not so fun places between and not getting stuck, NOT staying in the good places like France or Italy, and books it here to coincidentally meet you likely really wants to just sniff your sweaty socks or risk getting swallowed by the mess of your room just to watch you sleep." He lifted a finger up to Aella with every point he was trying to make.
After that, Levi finally looked over to Ming, not giving a single F*** that he was saying this and just shrugged, "No offense kid."

"None taken!" Ming said with the sweetest smile as he bowed his head a little. He was acting like he was the one who screwed up here! Although, he was quick to raise one hand like he was a kid in class looking to ask a question. "Speaking of Aella's sweaty socks. Do I need to room with her? The short time we had to room together made me realize that it we... uh... are very different people when it comes to cleanliness." He then turned towards Aella and gave her a sheepish smile. "No offense."

God...this kid...His positivity was...fu***** gross. Levi's face twisted with comical disgust at Ming's enthusiasm...and when he raised his hand, the Devil couldn't help but raise a brow. "Put your hand down and just talk...you wierdo." The comment about cleanliness earned him a snort from the ancient demon, but Levi was quick to fire back. "careful kid, you are one crusty sock away from being homeless if this works out so watch what you say-she could be your landlord after all, clear?" Levi didn't want to encourage any kind of slight against Aella... Like... He could tease her all he wanted because he was just...that guy... but other people needed to know that they should respect her through and through.
From there, the devil turned to listen to Aella...and then...sighed. "Well then I guess it's ok...Hey...Marco...or whatever your name is. If it doesn't damage your pride, I can get you a job here in Barcelona...If you want."

"Ah! Aellaaaa, I said no offense. You can't be acting like that now." Ming whined, acting like he truly didn't mean to offend Aella. Although, just like a dog, his head whipped around as soon as Levi started to speak again. Those innocent eyes just staring back as Ming slowly nodded. "My apologies. I only meant we have different ways of living. Both styles are completely fine!"
Hell, Ming was so sweet that he even let the Marco thing pass. Mimir just laughed internally. He liked this a*****e. Too bad they had to kill him. "A job? I wouldn't want to trouble you too much but I'll at least see what it is if you are truly offering." Damn it. Had to be nice and take the offer. A small obstacle but Mimir could just use a doll to do the work or warp his co-worker's minds to make them believe he was doing a good job. Could just say its not for him in the end as well! However, he HAD to take the offer.

Aella just stuck her tongue out at Ming and went back to sipping her juice. Things were going really well actually, Levi seemed to be alright with him and she was happy to be able to pay back the favor Ming had done when he brought her from living with his family in their yurt in the middle of no where to the nearest city, helped her get a job, and helped her learn a bit of Chinese. She hated feeling like she owed people, so it was a weight off her shoulders to get this taken care of. Now she felt like she owed Levi even more... but one person was better than 2 she supposed.

Oh, Mimir could see where this was going. Levi didn't actually have some place for that sweet, innocent Ming to work. He'd just make sure that these people would accept Ming. Is that how Aella got her stupid modeling job? Awesome. Time for Mimir to play stupid again.
"Oh, I thought... Are you the owner? Is that why we came here?" Ming asked with a look of pure confusion. His eyes shifting towards Aella as if looking for answers. After all, Ming was just here to have a place to stay for a while. He wasn't expecting a job offer.

Levi! She practically hissed out loud but instead she gave him a swift tap in the shin and a disapproving look. "No, he's not the owner." Aella informed Ming and then quickly changed the subject. "I have some stuff to do, I'll text you the address and you can meet me tonight with your things at the apartment building, I'll come down and get you when you get there, okay? How does 7pm work?"
