Ball Jointed Dolls - Being a rich girl has it's perks, especially when it comes to expensive ball jointed dolls. Alice has a collection of dolls, mostly from Dream Valley and SOOM, that range from a few 1/6 'tinies' to several 1/3 scale dolls that she routinely takes care of and photographs. She prefers the more unique sculpts, and always gets full sets with face ups. Yes, she has one of those pretentious BJD instas where you can't tell if she's terrible with her money or a rich kid, and all of her dolls are better than yours. In all, she has fifteen dolls currently, with four more on layaway and preorder.
Lolita - Alice is also obsessed with lolita fashion. She primarily wears gothic lolita coords, usually in pastels, and it's never quite the same outfit each time she wears them. While she prefers to keep sets together, she does mix and match on occasion. She is not -quite- as pretentious about her lolita outfits as she is her dolls, but make no mistake, she will call you out on your poor outfit choice.
Photography - The only hobby that she's not overly judgemental about as she's still 'learning' the craft is photography. She got into it via the BJD scene, and immediately had her father by her a top of the line DSLR and several lenses. She primarily photographs her dolls for her instagram, but has started to branch out towards nature photography and portraits - mostly of her own lolita outfits. She finds a quiet sort of joy in photography.
Virtues: [ Cheerful, Diligent, Organized ]
Cheerful: If you saw Alice around school, you'd say she was a cheerful girl. She's usually smiling and giggling behind a hand, and while she seems a little reserved, she seems happy. You wouldn't be wrong on the assessment. The cheerfulness that she projects is genuine - for the most part - and she generally likes to be happy over most other emotions. She doesn't have much to be unhappy or angry about; Alice is the daughter of rich parents after all, and it's so much easier to hide her judgemental attitude behind a smile and cheerful eyes.
Diligent: Alice is a very diligent student and person. She does all her homework and tasks on time, keeps her room clean and dust free, and keeps everything in its place. Part of this is her tendency to be incredibly organized, and part of this is just something she started doing as a small child. Yes, she could put off her homework to play, but then she'd just have to do it later, so why not do it now? It's always made sense to her to do the hard tasks first, and play or relax later.
Organized: If there's one thing you can't call Alice, it's disorganized. When you own fifteen ball jointed dolls, each with several outfits, wigs or parts, and more lolita outfits than you care to mention, you learn to be organized very quickly. Her outfits are hung up nicely, with their accessories stored either in boxes with matching shoes on top, or hanging from the same hanger in a bag. Her dolls are set just right, each with their own stands, and all their extra parts are in individual bags stored in a drawer with labels. Everything is labeled, her binders are color coded for each class, and each section has a tab and label. She never misses an appointment or deadline, and tends to be the coordinator during group projects because she'll keep everyone else on task.
Flaws: [ Judgemental, Spoiled, Prudish ]
Judgemental: Alice never really internalized the lesson of 'not judging a book by its cover' that her teachers and tutors tried to instill in her as a child. She just got much better at masking her judgemental thoughts and attitude about others, hiding behind smiles and soft laughter. Make no mistake, Alice will judge you based on your hair, your outfit, the way you talk, where you sit, who you interact with, and tell it to you with a smile on her face. She really doesn't care if this makes her 'mean' or 'rude'; in her mind, she's speaking the truth as she sees it.
Spoiled: Alice comes from a rich family. A very rich family with roots in old money and business deals, surrounding in whispers of the mafia and mob bosses. Her father dotes on her, buying her anything and -everything- she wants. Yes, she was the child with a horse that was taken care of by someone else just because she went through a horse girl phase at the age of eight. Did it matter she was over it a month later and onto wanting a tiger? Not at all. (She never got the tiger, but did agree to having a life size tiger plush instead). This has led her to simply expect things happen if she asks for it, no matter how small or large the request is. And if it doesn't happen? You don't want to be on the receiving end of scathing remarks about how incompetent and useless you are.
Prudish: You will never catch Alice in anything that shows her shoulders or collarbones, even in the middle of summer. Maybe it's because Alice started puberty early, or maybe it's just because she's judgemental, but she prides herself on not being 'trashy.' All her outfits are set to keep everything 'scandalous' hidden, and she never flaunts what curves she has. She also actively judges those who wear revealing outfits - or even two piece swimsuits during the summer - and does not quite hide her disdain for it off her face in most cases. She doesn't think that wearing revealing clothing is necessary, or even acceptable, and finds PDA absolutely disgusting. No one is quite sure how she developed this mindset, but nothing has budged it (spoiler, she got it from her mother, who also judges everyone for how they look and dress).
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Eyes: Peacock blue, ringed with emerald green on the edge of her irises
Hair: Orangey-red, usually curled and pinned in some sort of updo with a hair bow
Face: Heart-shaped, light eyeliner and mascara and well kept eyebrows. She has little dimples at the corners of her mouth when she smiles. Freckles ghost over her nose and cheekbones
Skin Tone: Pale, and lightly freckled all over
Body Type: About 5'4" and starting to get some curves
Clothes: Alice usually wears gothic lolita coords when not in her school uniform, and they range from very formal and ruffled, to more casual and less ruffled.
