Taking a moment to stretch and pop her back, Tololo crouched on a corner rooftop and surveyed the street below. There was just something exhilarating about nighttime patrols. Did they ******** with her sleep and study schedule? Yeah. Did they make having a normal College Girl life nearly impossible? Also yeah. But she was doing Good Things and Helping the Average Citizen. So she missed out on a few keg parties. It was fine because she was being useful.
And parties were over-rated anyway. Or at least that was what she told herself when she felt down in the dumps over missing things.
It would all be worth it in the end. She just had to keep her nose to the grindstone for a bit. It was fine. Everything was fine.
At the first prickle of a chaotic aura sliding across her senses, Tololo felt a genuine thrill. She wouldn’t assume the worst, but there was a chance she might have to fight and defeating bad guys (or girls) would be such a pick-me-up!

Euchroite was out on her own for the first time. She wanted to prove herself to her new friends. She was still kind of new to everything but she thinks she has it kind of figure out, Mostly. Just take starseeds. It seemed simple at first. Just look for a victim and then take their starseed from their chest. Thats what she thinks she is supposed to do. Euchroite took a deep breath, her hands trembling slightly as she walked the dimly lit streets. She scanned the area, searching for anyone who seemed vulnerable or alone. Her heart raced with a mix of excitement and unease. Joining the Negaverse was the best thing for her. She has finally found a family to be accepted to. Finding someone vulnerable and easy shouldn’t be so hard. The homeless would be an easy option. Euchroite's steps echoed softly on the pavement as she made her way down the deserted street, her eyes darting from shadow to shadow in search of a suitable target.

From her vantage point, she watched as an oddly dressed person moved through the shadows below. They didn't move as a homeless person might. And they weren't weaving like they were drunk or stoned. And since the uara she could feel had not lessened and there were no other people in sight, Tololo had to assume that this was her bad guy.
Making her rapid decision, she stood up and back up a bit before running for the roof's edge and leaping. As she landed, she made the conscious choice to assume a Superhero Landing.
Nailed it.
As she stood, she flicked a speck of dust from her arm before crossing both arms over her chest and staring at the... girl? Girl.
"I sure hope you're not thinking of trying to hurt anyone," she said sternly. "Otherwise, you an' me? We're gonna have problems."

Euchroite's deep gold eyes narrowed in annoyance as she was suddenly interrupted by the appearance of Tololo. She hadn't expected to come face to face with a Senshi so quickly on her first solo mission. Her hand reached instinctively for anything to attack with, ready for any potential threat that might arise. But instead of attacking, she let out a frustrated sigh and raised her hands in a gesture of peace towards Tololo. "I don't want any trouble," she stated firmly. "I'm simply trying to complete my mission." Euchroite's mind raced, trying to recall her training and figure out how to handle this unexpected situation. "Perhaps you should mind your own business and allow me to do what I need to do," she retorted, her voice laced with irritation and determination.

Just trying to complete her mission? Woooof, that was cold. But then, what else could she expect of a group of people who turned big goddamn pig dog monsters loose on a bunch of tweens trying to have a nice day in the park?
Gaze hardening, the senshi of friendship inclined her head slightly. "While I totally get wanting to do a good job and having quotas to meet, this ain't the boardroom. We're talking about actual goddamn people that you're trying to go out and hurt or kill. So... no. No. I won't just go away and let you get on with it."
This girl didn't look much older than herself. How could she possibly justify what she was asking for? It was crazy.
She uncrossed her arms, wanting a loose and easy position for when this turned ugly. And she was pretty sure it would.
"You try to hurt anyone," she said in a soft, warning voice, "and I'lll punish you in the name of friendship."

Euchroite felt a surge of defiance rise within her at the threat from Tololo. She couldn't afford to back down now, not when she had come this far to prove herself to her new companions. She squared her shoulders and met Tololo's gaze with steely determination. "I don't answer to you or anyone else," Euchroite responded, her voice firm and unwavering. "I have a job to do, and nothing will stand in my way." Euchroite couldn’t believe the nerve of this Senshi challenging her. She was trying to how her worth, to prove that she belonged with the Negaverse. And she wasn't about to let some self-righteous do-gooder get in her way. “What if we make a compromise? Let me do what I have came to do and I won’t have to hurt you.”

”Are you even listening to yourself?” Tololo asked incredulously. “Like, actually, honestly listening?”
Her voice took on a mocking note, “Oh, please Miss Senshi, let me go forth to murder babies and old people by ripping out their souls…”
Snorting in a way that would have caused her co-workers at the shelter to start gleefully taking bets on the survival rate of the idiot who’d annoyed her, Tololo stretched languidly, seemingly completely at ease. “b***h, please. There’s no compromise here. You want to hurt and kill people. Best friends may help you hide the bodies, but honey, you don’t even rate as an acquaintance!”
The senshi of friendship had decided she was done talking. Surging forward, she already had her arm cocked back for a punch. Or at least, that was what she wanted Murdertits to think. At the last moment, she dropped and spun, leg straight out with the intent of knocking the other girl off her feet.

Caught off guard by Tololo’s sudden movement, Euchroite stumbled backwards, struggling to maintain her balance. Her heart raced in her chest as she fought to steady herself. Summoning all of her strength, Euchroite focused on regaining her footing and keeping her eyes trained on her opponent. “You’re insane,” she gasped, a mixture of anger and determination flushing across her face. “You have no idea what you’re getting yourself into!” Adrenaline coursed through Euchroite’s veins as she readied herself for the fight against the Senshi. She took a deep breath, channeling her energy into her body and hands, preparing to unleash chaos upon this girl who dared to stand in her way. With fierce determination burning in her eyes, Euchroite charged at Tololo, swinging her arm in a wide arc with the intention of throwing the Senshi off balance and gaining the upper hand. Fighting was never something that Euchroite enjoyed; it was messy, dangerous, and not something she sought out. But now, she had no choice. She needed to prove herself to her new friends. Ignoring any thoughts of pacifism or compromise, Euchroite launched herself at Tololo with all of her might. Her clenched fist aimed for the Senshi’s face, hoping to land a powerful blow and take control of the fight.

"No, I'm determined to keep you from hurting innocent people," Tololo spat out, disappointed that she hadn't managed to fully drop the officer. Still, night was young and this girl was way too eager to follow the party line. Which, might be used to advantage.
Such as now. Seeing the fist coming at her, Tololo thought quickly and made her choice. Taking the punch, she only moved enough to keep it from breaking her nose, flowing with it and settling for a split lip and what would surely be a spectacular black eye. As she moved back, she grabbed onto the officer's wrist and held on, torquing her body in order to pull the officer off balance again. With her free hand, she punch out, aiming for the gut. It wasn't her strongest punch, but it would hopefully be enough. All she needed was a bit of breathing room.
Feeling her eye swelling shut, Tololo grimaced. Why couldn't these people just listen to reason and stop to really think about what they were doing?

eldritch stardust Sorry for late reply. heart Euchroite felt the sting of the punch as her wrist was grabbed and twisted, causing her to wince in pain. However, she refused to let go of her determination. She gritted her teeth, clenched her eyes shut, and summoned all of her remaining strength to break free from the Senshi's grip. As she struggled against Tololo's hold, Euchroite forced out a sharp cry of pain, hoping it would intimidate her opponent. Determined to fight her way to victory, she dropped her other hand in a swift motion, aiming to strike Tololo's arm and weaken her grip. "You don't know what you're talking about!" Euchroite cried, her voice tinged with desperation and rage. "You have no idea what you're getting yourself into!" However, despite her fierce fighting spirit, Euchroite couldn't ignore the overwhelming pain coursing through her body. The force of their blows had left her bruised and battered, and her anger was starting to wane.

Grinning fiercely, face masked in bruising and blood, Tololo took the outcry and protestations as a challenge. Though the officers strike to her arm had gotten her to loosen her grip, it didn't stop her from bringing up her leg in an attempt to punt the other girl. Or even just stomp her foot.
Tololo wasn't picky.
"Should listen to yourself talk sometime, girly," she spat. "Maybe apply some desperately need critical thinking to the s**t you spout!"
She was getting tired though. And her swollen eye hurt like a damned b***h. It was really too bad that people like this lacked common decency. She could just yeet the girl and go, claiming the moral victory. But these people didn't stop unless they were knocked out and frankly. Well. Tololo wasn't sure that she could manage that at the moment. And somehow forcing the girl to call Uncle seemed petty and childish.
A moment's thought gave way to a possible solution. It was fighting dirty (in a fairly benign way), but it would hopefully let them both walk away and girly here might think twice about going out to hunt.
Pointing her free hand at the officer and nearly touching her chest, Tololo whispered, "Simple and Clean..."

Sailor Scout Attack: Simple and Clean Effect: Tololo whispers her attack before pointing her finger at her opponent's heart and firing a pale greenish-white energy beam that resembles a star fall. When this beam hits, Tololo's magic forms a very brief connection between her heart and her opponent's heart. This connection makes her opponent feel as though they've been friends forever and may cause them to hesitate briefly in attacking her as such. Tololo can use this attack 3 times per battle for a total of 25 seconds each. As the magic fades, it leaves behind a faint scent associated with childhood friendships.

Euchroite's eyes widened as she felt the wave of emotions wash over her. She could feel a connection to this Senshi, a long-lost familiarity of friendship and loyalty. For a moment, her determination wavered, and she began to question her own actions. Was she truly doing the right thing? As the connection faded, Euchroite was left with nothing but confusion and uncertainty. She looked at Tololo, her heart racing, and hesitated for the briefest of moments. The scent lingering in the air brought back memories of her childhood – memories of friendship, laughter, and innocence.

If she hadn’t felt more than a little harried by the short amount of time given to her by her magic, Tololo could and would have spent so much time being fascinated by the emotions flickering across the officer's face. Still, as the confusion and uncertainty took the dominant position, the senshi found that she mostly felt pity for this girl. She couldn’t have been all that much older than Tololo herself. Maybe she wasn’t really a bad person out to hurt people. Maybe…
Letting sympathy and pity show in her own expression, Tololo sighed. She had to make the most of the moment she’d been given. Carefully moving back, she kept herself ready for any blows that might fly, but did her best to not look up for a fight. Besides, the officer already knew she could ********’ go and vice versa.
“For what it’s worth,” she said in a soft voice, “I don’t think you have a bad heart. Not really. In a different life, I think we could have even been friends. Just… just go home and really think, okay? Not saying it as a senshi, but as a friend.”
There was so much more than she wanted to say, to implore and drive her point home. But people couldn’t be forced and if she pushed too hard, the other girl would shut down out of instinct and lock her out. Backing away a bit more, she stood up slowly, still on guard.
“If you still want to fight, we can, but realistically, I don’t think either of us have much left in the tank. We’ll just end up looking sad.”

Euchroite's mind raced as she struggled to come to terms with the emotions that Tololo had awakened within her. She could feel the bonds of friendship tugging at her heart, pulling her in a direction she didn't understand. The Senshi's words weighed heavily on her, and for the first time since their confrontation began, she truly questioned her own actions. Shaking her head Euchroite took a few steps back. "I need to think," she said, her voice barely a whisper. "I just... I need time to sort out my own beliefs and values.” Euchroite turned and ran. She needed to recollect her thoughts.

She hadn’t expected the reaction she’d gotten, but Tololo couldn’t say she was sorry for inducing it. She knew her magic was manipulative, no matter no benevolent. So, if she had to manipulate, she preferred to do it when, in cases such as this, she might be able to help break through to someone.
Maybe the girl really would go home and think. Maybe not. But something in the confused eyes and softly spoken words made the senshi think that she really would think. And think hard. Though the way she turned and ran was a little startling. Surely Tololo hadn’t been that scary in her use of magic?
With a sigh, she waited until she could no longer feel any trace of chaos and powered down. Doing so made her face hurt, but nothing was broken as far as she could tell. She’d go home and slap a bag of frozen peas over and hope her parents wouldn’t ask too many questions. As she turned to head home, Shelly paused for a moment to turn and look in the direction the other girl had run.
“Good luck, friend,” she said softly, voice echoing slightly in the darkness.
