Hobbies:
- Building/Handyman - Idirian enjoys some manual labor, he's built a fire pit/barbecue in his backyard and is planning a koi pond system around the yard. The house that he and his sister live in was originally a fixer-upper. While they lived in their father's house after he was sent to jail, Idirian used his free time and part of the money from the trust his mother set up for him to fix it up so he and Ainsley had somewhere to call their own without the memories of their father's house. After they moved into the new house, Idirian fixed up their father's house and sold it.
Cooking - It started out as something he had to do in order to feed himself and Ainsley, but he's grown to enjoy the routine of it and loves finding new recipes to try.
Boxing - It's something he got into while he was in high school. He'd been having trouble containing his emotions and would lash out. A teacher introduced him to boxing and that was that. Anytime Idirian's emotions are messing with his head too much he goes to the gym and has a session with a punching bag.

Idirian isn't afraid of a little hard work. Or a lot of hard work. He enjoys the physicalness of it, the way he can turn his brain off for a while and just build or fix something. Aside from physical hard work, Idirian is used to working hard to get what he wants or needs. That included motivating himself to get good grades in school and graduate high school after his mom passed, and motivating himself to make sure he could take care of Ainsley after he became her guardian.
Dependable
If Idirian says he'll do something, he will. Over his life, he's learned that if he can't depend on anyone else, he can at least make sure he's the one that his sister can depend on. While he's anti-social, if he ever had other people in his life then they would be able to depend on him, too. He doesn't make promises he can't keep.
Grounded
His head is never in the clouds. He knows what his priorities are in life and can easily figure out what he would need to do in order to achieve any dream he or his sister have. In arguments, he tends to stay calm and focused on the issue rather than getting emotional.

He hates people. He doesn't like being around them and doesn't like being in a crowd. If he could be a hermit, he would. He loves his sister and would do anything for her, but beyond that he's really kind of a homebody. He does most of his shopping online, aside from groceries and taking Ainsley shopping, and he goes to the gym. Anything other than that is something out of the ordinary for him.
Abrasive
His brain to mouth filter malfunctions and he has a tendency to say exactly what he's thinking at any given time. With his overall resting b***h face, it usually comes off as rude and abrasive. He's critical of people outside his circle and isn't afraid to let it show.
Cynical
Due to his life experiences, Idirian has trouble trusting anyone. He thinks everyone has ulterior motives, and no one does anything out of the goodness of their heart. Because he's used to doing things for himself (and for Ainsley), he doesn't accept help from others and will instead run himself ragged in order to get everything done sometimes.
