Sadie lay sprawled on her bed and gazed up at the sparkle filled popcorn ceiling that was one of the most unique features of her apartment. She had a lot to think about, and a big part of it really was…what did she want to do with her future. Truthfully, she had been foundering for a long while and wasn’t sure how to make that stop...but. Virell’s offer…the potential to go to a new Agency, maybe get more gigs…make more money. Start her on a path to make her own business?

Maybe if she was nice enough, Virell would share some insight. She could…make a company that was focused on beauty, some kind of…product. Maybe something for hair…the hair care industry could use some new things. New brushes for thick and wavy hair like she had? No, that was…it wouldn’t get her far. Maybe…modeling classes?

She pursed her lips and thought about it. There were…beauty pageants. She knew that. There had been television shows filled with the things, mostly aimed at the children’s pageants…but there was always the need for coaches…and honestly. That could be…

That could sure be a place to start.

Jumping off of the bed, she grabbed her journal off of the bureau and jotted the ideas down. She’d want to have another long conversation with Virell sooner than later, and if he would support anything like this, perhaps she could run classes under the umbrella of his agency.

Flopping back down, Sadie let the journal fall on top of her chest as she again stared at the ceiling, making patterns between the specks of glitter and sighing softly.

Money. Money was important and she…well. She knew in theory how to be good with money, but for all her business classes and lessons on how to invest and start playing the money market…she hadn’t done anything, only put money into a savings account earning a piddly 2.2% interest. Sure she was making money…but boy was it a slow process.

Maybe…a trip to the bank was in order. Perhaps…perhaps it was time to talk to someone about opening some other accounts. To move some of the money she had in savings into something that was more lucrative. More high yield.

Okay. Yeah. A trip to the bank was in order. She was thirty years old, it was time to really focus on her future. Sadie wasn’t doing anything that would jeopardize it but…it was time that she focus on making sure it was great...not just mediocre.

She had taken her Knight responsibilities in hand, and it was time to do the same with her finances. With her plans. Her goals.

Standing, Sadie punched the air and gave a good stretch, feeling some joints in her back pop. She glanced at the clock, and was pleased that it was still early enough that the bank would be open, and so with little delay, she got dressed and headed out the door.

To the future.
