As Lenka held on to Asuka’s hand as they both went through the mirror into Mirrorspace, she couldn’t help but laugh. It was…becoming fun. The sensation of traveling into the mirror. Honestly, she would never have believed that this would be how she felt now. Contented, almost…well. Almost happy. No matter how she had felt at first…the Mirror wasn’t…as bad as she had wanted it to be.
“Oh! Look!” She hurried over, still not letting go of her friends’ hand. It wasn’t worth it, but there were red crystals! She hadn’t seen these before and quickly broke one off, examining it.
“Oh it’s warm! That’s so wild. These crystals are so wild.” Finally letting go of Asuka’s hand, Lenka shook her head and just grinned clearly pleased with her new treasure.
“I’m not sure…what I’ll do with it…I’m going to assume it makes…things hot or…”
She trailed off and seemed thoughtful. “Okay, not sure if it would work, but if you were super knowledgeable on crystals, do you think a red and a blue would make like…humid conditions…so like if I were to make a rainforest…” Looking at her friend with bright eyes, she waited for an answer, almost as eager to hear one as she was to get going to her Realm.

There was something nice about spending some time wandering Mirrorspace with someone else. Asuka liked poking around on her own, but having someone else certainly livened it up.
Honestly, she really ought to do something with her collection of little crystals. She'd picked up a few over the time she'd been able to wander Mirrorpsace, and she'd claimed her fancy little plot of land, but had never gone out of her way to do anything with it.
Now, though, she felt inspired, especially with Lenka so eager. She followed her over, picking up a red crystal for herself and turning it over.
"That's....incredible. You know, I bet you could start to do that? Ooh, or maybe you could make a hot spring? You know, warm water?" She thought of a few of the crystals she'd collected--pale blue and gray and now red for warmth.
Well, that was certainly an idea.

“Oh! I hadn’t even thought of a hot spring…that would be…Ugh there’s so much that I want to do, and honestly I just feel like I’ll never end up getting enough crystals and like…ugh!” Slipping the crystal into her subspace pocket, Lenka reached out and once again took Asuka’s hand, leading her through everything to the circular mirror that lead to the realms, and with a grin, she took them both to her…still mostly empty but… slowly getting better realm.
“So, there’s still not much...” She shrugged and raised her hands, showing off the now rather large expanse of grass, and the softly, cheerfully bubbling small waterfall…or, fountain. Whatever you would call it. It sounded lovely and she enjoyed it for that reason alone.
“It’s not much. I know it’s not much but…I like it…”
The idea of a hot spring though…that made her curious, and as she tugged out another two blue crystals, as well as a gray and the red she had just found, she moved towards the…well. The original water feature and broke the crystals on the ground next to it.
I took a moment, but a small pool, big enough for five or so spread out along the ground, with the waterfall feeding into it. Steam rose from the pool and it looked…
She wanted to try it!
“...That might have worked? Good idea Asuka!”

"There's so much space, and so much we can do," Asuka sighed, fondly. "Not so bad that the work's never gonna be done."
At least, not in her opinion. If they always had something to keep working for, wasn't that a good thing? It meant they had the incentive top keep coming back, to make something better and more beautiful.
And when she saw Lenka's realm, she gasped, softly.
"Oh, that's....really incredible," she said, voice soft, taking in the spread before her. Maybe Lenka thought it wasn't much, but it was more than Asuka had, and it felt like....a promise, almost. That if she kept working, her realm really could become something beautiful.
"I really like it too," she said, softly. She watched, then, as Lenka approached the water feature she already had, crushing more crystals into it--and it expanded. Into something truly gorgeous.
"Oh, wow! I totally wasn't sure it'd work that way, but that looks so nice, I bet it'll be especially great when it gets cold in the winter and you can just come here and soak and warm up." Or sit in warm water after a tough fight, or...anything, really. "Man, these crystals really are incredible. I can't believe we basically get to build our own worlds."

“It’s not half as incredible as the real Lenka is, but…I’m hoping that it will become a bit more like my asteroid was…”
Lenka gave a soft sigh, staring off for a moment, and then shook her head roughly, trying to clear out the melancholy that was doing its best to settle in. “Do you want to try it out with me? It won’t get our real clothes wet, so why not?”
Reaching down, she took her boots off, because the idea of shoes in a pool…even a magical pool was just…gross.
Her stocks followed and with a laugh, Lenka splashed into the pool.
It was warm, and felt almost like a hot tub, though the bottom was made of something that felt…almost like sand. It was wonderful and made her feet feel fabulous. “Oh, yeah. I can see myself spending a lot of time here…”
Making her way to where the small waterfall entered, she sighed as the cool water ran down her back. “You need to try this. Don’t be shy and come on in!”

Asuka hummed, thoughtfully. "I've never seen my world," she admitted, "but I'm not sure I want to. Yours seems really amazing, though, if this is you recreating it."
Maybe it would be nice to get an idea of what her world was like, but all she could picture was some creepy rotting village straight out of Siren or Fatal Frame. What else would the world of the Senshi of Onryo look like? Obviously it had to be something super creepy. Nothing else made sense.
The invitation made her brighten up.
"I would love to," she said, and she unfastened her heels and peeled off her socks. Even if she could magic her uniform dry again, there was no way she was spending any time in wet socks, thank you very much. She splashed in after Lenka, and let out a very relieved sigh.
"Oh, this is so amazing," she said. "I wouldn't mind staying here for a while."
Honestly, it was nice to just...take a moment and relax.
