Usually I find that (as crazy as this may sound) Giving you some added support by squeesing your cheeks together (the ones below) taking a deep supported breath, and use your diaphram properly. If that doesnt work for you I dont have anything else I do, I hope it works.

there's a warm up that can help expand your range.

Do-mi- sol- Do--- ti- do- re do ti la sol fa mi re do

i can get really sexy a's and b's now. mind, it took a while, but it works!

What helps me hit the high notes (High B and above whee ) is to lean forward slightly and tuck in the chin a little. And remember to BREATHE properly!

What I do to sing high notes is raise my eyebrows (looks really funny) imagin the sound coming out of the top of my head. Also proper breathing and opening my mouth are a major factor too.

if you push your chest or stomach, it's easier.

remember to always sing in your head voice and yeah, raising your eyebrows also raises your soft pallette allowing you to reach those higher notes. I find if you do high sighs, almost like..yawning at high pitches, it warms you up and lets you hit niiice A's and B's. ^^

DON'T forse it,
DON'T close your throat,
and put it all up in your mask.

when you do that you can feel it in your nose.

it's hard to explain but once you do it, you'll know what i'm talking about.

ohh! and try using your hands, as funny and crazy as it looks... it works.

take your hands and put them right in front of your rib cage, not touching yourself. just there, in front.

then when you go to reach the high notes, move your hands up and out smoothly.

the visual helps you.

MOST IMPORTANT!

KEEP YOUR SOFT PALLETTE LIFTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't stress that enough.

in fact, you should do that EVERY time you sing, high notes or not

take it from your favorite first sop.

<33 hope i helped!

Practice scales every day up and down. This should help you maintain both your top and bottom ranges (since you obviously sound like a really good alto).

Plus, like, the other person said (^^; forget the username) support like mad! My choir director told me to use the "Italian secret," which is basically pushing your buttocks and acting like you're consipated. ^^; sounds crazy but it really works.

It also depends on if your age and if your voice is changing. Sometimes, girls' voices move up and down and make your range really weird. You may just be a little bit of a phase. You never know. Give it time.

But the most important thing is: DO NOT PUSH YOUR VOICE! Relax when you are singing, else you may not be able to sing high at all.

^^ That's all I got! Good luck!

It's something that you just have to work at constantly. My voice teacher told me, when I started taking lessons with her, that her boyfriend is an amazing baritone, but his range wasn't what it needed to be. They worked on it for about two years, and it sounded aweful for a long time, but eventually, they worked through the awefulness. My range increased about 2 1/2 notes during last year (first year I've ever taken voice). I'm also an alto, though Robin has decided that I should be a Mezzo instead. *shrug* Support is the biggest thing, but what I've found to be of almost equal importance is shaping. Really drop your jaw as far as it can go, lift you soft palate and really open your throat, keep your tongue forward and out of the way of your throat (when I used to try to sing high notes I would suck my tongue back to try to create more room in my mouth for the sound, but I was closing off the chamber in my throat where it really need to resonate), keep your upper lip slightly raised, so that you can see a little bit of teeth. And of course, don't forget tall vowels. If it's something that you really want to work on, I would reccomend finding someone who really knows what they're doing to help you, because they will be able to help you push your voice correctly and safely, because your range will never increase if you don't push it, but if you push too hard you'll hurt yourself. It's a really fine line. I never push myself as far in practice as I do during my lessons.

Hope some of that was helpful.

For me it took learning how to belt properly before I could use a good falsetto...Now I hit high girl notes in my falsetto without trying at all. If you can sing them loud (and properly, never from chest) then signing softly is sooo much easier. After that the proper technique comes naturally and doesn't have to be forced. Also eat properly before you practice the high ranges. Practicing them after like milk/dairy and caffeine/sugar then you won't be able to get them out properlyand the technique will come but be wrong, and then your really messed up confused Try eating apple first and practicing good technique. Really concentrate on the tall vowels, open mouth, tongue and teeth out, stand up straight, and breathe from the diaphram(sp?)

Well I'm pretty sure you have breathing and control down. What helps me is rasing slightly on my toes, so as my notes go up I do too. Also make sure to be in your head voice and open your mouth!

Oh, and tucking your chin in and raising your eyebrows do really help.

You need to relax, for one thing. Getting tense when you push to sing high will make it thin and sharp and ewie. just relax and let it flow out, and then try to imagine the sound spinning at the top of your mouth, to make it 3 dimensional.

Also, the Italian Secret mentioned really works blaugh

Well, other than that, all I can suggest is to keep at an alto level.
