I am not sure if this topic has been already made but it came up in school today. My sister plays the Flute and the Piano, and I sing in 3 choirs. Today I noticed that (even though we get along great) we are different in so many ways. What are was you notice that Band Geeks and Choir Nerds are different from eachother?

1) Choir Nerds are usually more girly.
2) Band Geeks are more outgoing.

I knew a guy in both. Man he was a b*****d. >.< He thought he was all that and a bag of potato chips. O.O Good singer but when you talked to him, you wanted to kill him.
As for the difference, let's see... we all wear the bad uniforms >.<" I have noticed that in my band, it is mostly Goths where as choir is mostly the girls who think they are the prettiest. O.o I have more band friends than choir friends. ^.^"

I tell my sister that I was built for band but got mixed up somewere and somehow I am choir. But yes, I notice that too.

Same here. I was supposed to be in band but was thrown in choir and i don't think it was wrong at all. I simply think that all the little girls in my choir need to realize it is normally the people that sing the softest that are the best. My teacher told me that all the time because i don't sing loud. Especially around the wenches who are in Soprano with me. >.< They would tell me not to sing loud when my teacher would tell me to. Ah well, it doesn't matter now. smile I know that i am a damn good singer so razz to them. ^.^

But still am pretty quiet. I am never louder than the people around me.

If you were in my choir, that would be saying something because they are all LOUD. Not just when singing either. Just talking. It gets so bad, my teacher bangs on the piano to make them shut up >.<

I think the major difference between the two at least as far as I see, is the maturity difference, most band kids act like monkeys while chior kids behave like civilized people. But this is just from what I see in my school. And Orchestra kids((I know cause I'm in Orchestra too)) are simillar to choir kids except they tend to be a bit on the snobby side. Sorry if I offend anyone but this is usually the trends I see form within the music department.

Even though you'd think choir people have better voices and would use them more, bandos are some of the loudest kids ever. Like- obnoxiously loud.
