Xander was sitting in the gazebo in the backyard watching his sun playing on the playground set in the backyard. They paid him not heed, chasing each other and spinning some tale from their imaginations. He thought they were playing pirates, but he wasnt so sure anymore. It was getting late in the afternoon, but still before sunset. The kids were running of the last of their energy before their baths and bedtime. He was debating patrolling tonight, but honestly he felt more like spending time with Ya and Ai, so it wasn't likely. "Ro, don't throw dirt ... Mama won't be happy if either of you come in with heads full of dirt." He tried not to laugh at the look, that his son's give him ... a very awww man look before they resumed chasing one another.

Peeking out his window Ian could hear the children playing, they were loud in their play, but it wasn't bad. It was actually a good thing that he could hear them, it meant they were close and one of their parents or other family member was out and about watching them. Since Sasha had arrived he'd been keeping it a secret, trying to figure things out on his own, but at this point he did have something of a concern and Xander was the best one to talk to for this.
Looking towards Sasha, who spent a lot of his time nibbling fruit and honey, the dark haired male motioned to the other. "Why don't we head out for a bit. Remember I told you the people I live with, well sort of live with, are senshi and knights. Well, I think it's time you met them and they meet you." And he could finally let them know he had moved someone in with him...someone who was an alien but also a senshi.
Ian honestly didn't think anyone would be upset with him, they all figured eventually he might start seeing someone and would prefer his own place so he had the smaller house on the property. No one during the talks about the house, as he had tried to decline the offer, was bothered by him still living on their property and not being family. None of them minded that he'd been living in their basement for years and none of them midned anything else. It was all a surprise, especially that they were just going to let him live in the house. There were rules, of course there were, but it was all things he had no issue with.

Pausing with a a slice of apple dipped in honey about to enter his mouth, Sasha titled his head and paid a bit more attention to the sounds from outside. His antennae vibrated slightly as he thought and then hesitantly nodded. He was a bit tired since it was daytime but he'd woken up hungry and came down for a snack. Sliding off the counter, he shoved the rest of the apple slices in his mouth and sealed the jar of honey back up. Ian had gotten him new pants so they didn't trip him but the hoodie he wore of theirs still came down to his knees almost and the sleeves passed his hands as he shuffled along. "Senshi like you? Or me?" Wanting to be sure if they were human or alien like he was or the other senshi he'd met on Daedalus. Moving a bit sluggishly, he peeked out through the glass window in the front door and saw little humans running around. So like Ian. "Okay."

Xander was letting his mind wander, not to worried about the boys getting into to much. The yard was so large they had plenty of room to run and play. The swing set was beside a trampoline toward the back of the yard and the gazebo Xander sat in was more toward the middle of the yard. The pool house one to the left, a path leading from the patio off the French doors connected it to the house and to the right was the in-law suite that Ian now lived him, at Xander's insistence. Every Sunday the house and basement was invaded with the whole family and he wanted Ian to have more privacy and more experience living on his own. He didn't need to worry so much about disturbing him. "Sage, be careful, lil man," he called watching his son try to climb on top of the monkey bars. "Don't do that or we are going inside." He shook his head at his son's pouting. He was never so bold as a child as they were, he was certain they got it from their mother.

"Like me, they're all human. They let me live with them years ago and continue to allow me to live on their property - in a home of theirs." His voice was calm, he was glad they'd taken him in, at the time there had been family issues going on and he'd really needed an escape. They'd given him that escape and he'd sort of...stuck around. It wasn't like he didn't contribute, he always did, and he worked and had an education even. He'd been doing his best but the idea of living on his own, and managing all those things, was a bit much for him. He wasn't even sure where the begin honestly. His motehr hadn't had time to teach him these things, too busy with work, and his father far too lazy to teach his only child how to survive on his own.
Opening the front door he held it open for Sasha before stepping out fully into the late afternoon sun and called out towards the man he knew was watching the children. "Xander! Do you mind if I join you - I have someone here to meet you." Calling out, rather loudly, he hoped it wasn't too loud for Sasha. Already though he was heading towards the gazebo while motioning for Sasha to join him.

Sticking close to Ian, hiding behind him slightly as he adjusted to the sunlight, Sasha scrunched his face up at the yelling. "Oh not yours?" He'd thought the place was theirs but the idea of someone owning the building, much as the flowers being owned that Julienne told him off for stealing had been a foreign concept. It was something he'd been half figuring out while wandering at night while the other was sleeping. Peeking out just barely from behind them, he looked over at the odd structure and noticed how it looked different than it did at night. That and the fact there were a few people around, he'd not really come across many people at all yet though that was probably due to wandering late into the night when he figured most people were sleeping. They looked so very different than Ian, something he wasn't used to yet either. There was always a sort of sameness to some of the people from his homeworld that didn't seem to exist here but he wasn't sure if that was just because so many other scattered ancient senshi had made it here or if that was just how things were on this planet. It was all sort of weird but he'd liked everyone he'd met so far.

Xander turned hearing Ian call his name and saw the young man headed toward them with another, not that he could fully see them, as they seemed to be hiding ... honestly he was sure, but assumed their was some shyness. He definitely understood that. "Yes, Im just watching the twins play. Come on over," he called before turning back to see his son's looking curiously, identical grins displayed on their little faced. "HI IAN," they shouted, thought they didn't bother to get down from the monkey bar and went back to whatever adventure they were having moments with happy waves. Xander smirked and waited for Ian and his friend to join him.

At least the little ones were busy and hopefully wouldn't notice Sasha with him, since the other wasn't exactly hiding their appearence. Though Ian was certain he could play off the antena as some sort of accessory they liked to wear.
Approaching Xander he slipped into a seat and motioned to Sasha who had been, till now, hiding behind him. "Sasha, take a seat, this is Xander." Motioning from Sasha to Xander.
"Xander...Sasha is...well...like me and Lily but older. By that I mean he wasn't reborn..." Figuring Xander would understand what he meant, and was implying, he wasn't sure if the others had heard of these ancient senshi, ones who were alien and roaming the city. "Sasha arrived not long ago and I did take him in, as he has no where to go and strange planet, no where to go or anything else." No schooling and no job and no ability to even get a job. It would be a lot of work to fake all the papers he'd need for the other...but he was certain he could do it, if he needed to.
"I've been planning to alert you, and your sisters, to his presence but I wasn't sure how to go about it - the whole alien part being hard to explain. I mean I had always thought everything died back a thousand years ago...at least that's what I always thought. But he's not the only one either. And I thought you'd best know I'm keeping him with me...he took an Earth name - Sasha Bach." Yes, they'd taken his last name....

Looking between the two as he felt very out in the open, Sasha sat next to Ian and looked over at the man called Xander before waving slightly. "Hello," came the small voice as he let the other explain things. Talking was still not his strong point but he wasn't sure how the other would take to him typing out his words on the phone like he did with Ian when he wanted to get a lot of information out. His antennae vibrated slightly as he fiddled with his hands in his lap, periodically looking over to where the smaller humans were playing. He didn't really know some of the names Ian was saying but he knew there were other people close by, he'd seen lights on in a bigger home from the window when he was up late at night. Scrunching his face up when they brought up his choice in last name, he felt a bit embarrassed again over things.

Xander was admittedly confused because Ian's explanation seemed to be all over the place and Xander was sure he was leaving out details. Xander sighed shaking his head, "woah Ian, maybe start from the beginning because I have no idea what you are talking about." He looked to the small boy, with her light green hair and an odd headband ... that looked like antennae. "Hello, I'm Xander Jacobs. Feeling a little shy," he asked with a soft smile. He was a children's doctor, so he was very use to such behavior. Sometimes kids were very shy and Xander had to try to make them more comfortable around him. He looked back to Ian, "okay, so start from the beginning, and don't skip around this time. Your explanation has some gaping wide whole in it. What do you mean not reborn ... like not reincarnated ... like an ancestor like me, like how Silas is my great uncle or something else." He didn't really say anything about Sasha taking on the Bach name, making someone who needed a name and connection family after purification was certainly a thing, but this very much did not sound like that."

Ok, so too fast and he was a bit all over the place. Taking a break Ian sat himself by Sasha and looked from him to Xander and back again. When his green eyes ettled on Xander once more he pinched the ridge of his nose before speaking.
"Sasha here...he is an alien - a senshi like myself and Lily. But he isn't from here. Sasha isn't some child or young senshi either. He's been on his planet...since then - since the Silver Millenium at least. He arrived here recently and I took him in, he needed a place to go. I've been helping him learn and adapt slowly, apparently he knew my...past self." He wasn't even sure if he was descended from the previous Chaldene or if he was reborn - he had a feeling he was reborn though. Sasha seemed to think so as well..so he was going with that.
"A mauvian helped him come up with a human identity...and needed a name. He took on my last name...so if anyone outside of the family asks you can tell them we're married if you want. To Lily, and Rose tell them the truth. I don't want to cause issues with the public. I also don't have an issue really." He was rather neutral when it came to dating, his opinions were equivalent to a 'meh' and it was the same for marraige though also a big heaping dose of 'not likely to happen.'.
So this didn't bother him really, akward as it was in the beginning, he didn't mind it no. Truth be tggold he almost found it amusing and cute that the other took his last name, especially because it was done without knowing what it would imply to most people on Earth. "I was planning, like I said, to tell you and y our sisters but I wasn't sure how we could explain this or hide it from everyone else in the family."

Sasha waved slightly in response to the greeting from Xander before scrunching his face up a different way, as he tried to figure things out. What they were saying didn't make much sense to him just as they seemed to be having a hard time with Ian's initial attempt at explaining things. Once things seemed to sort of get onto the right track Sasha nodded along as Ian started back over. "From Erinome, near Chaldene." It was near many other planets but Chaldene had been the only one he had visited really. "Julienne helped... after yelling..." Hanging his head a bit, he still didn't really see the problem with grabbing plants nobody was using for anything. They all had a purpose and he wanted to figure things out on this planet as he had done on his homeworld. Fidgeting with his hands again, he was already tired from talking and pulled a hidden orange out of his hoodie pocket to snack on. He wasn't sure if it was rude or not to eat in front of others, Ian never seemed to mind but he figured if he wasn't too much for talking it would be alright for him to snack a bit to wake up some more. The daylight was really a lot, it felt so warm and it made him sleepy.

The look that Xander gave could only be described as disbelief when Ian noted that Sasha was an alien. It was however brief because everything was possible when one lived in Destiny City. He listened intently, the explanation much clearer than the first time, though he was slightly exasperated by the whole of it. He pulled out his phone to google Erinome and nodded looking it over thought he gave Ian a look at the comment about telling people he was married. "Woah ... woah woah woah ... exactly how do you intend to explain suddenly being married to your mother when she finds out. Let's just avoid telling people his last name is Bach for now." He sighed, "Ian, you've been with my family years, you are family and you can tell us anything ... even that your housing an alien." He looked to Sasha, "you're welcome here as long as you followed the same rules everyone else does and you two need to work out a good backstory. How you met, how long you've know each other and how this somehow led to marriage if that's what your going with..." This wasn't at all what he was expecting, but while he was a little exasperated, he'd been thrown so many hardballs in the past 8 years he was more use to it then he should be. He looked to Sasha, "you look so young ... how could you make it so long and still look so young?"

"What else can I tell my mother? I can't claim he's family...she'd know that's a lie. I don't even talk to my father much less any of his family." His father, after his mother had left, had poisioned the family against him and his mother. It meant he didn't deal with his fathers side of the family at all - he couldn't. But his mother, who also was on equally bad terms with them, kept up with their lives on social media. She would look, spy really, and tell him if someone had an ewn child or anyone was sick or anything else. His mother still cared about the family, even if she didn't care for her former husband any more. It was how they both knew that his father had remarried...someone younger, no surprise really. "I could also just tell her everything...come clean finally. I didn't in the beginning, there was a lot going on." Which Xander knew about, Xander had known a lot, it was why the man had offered him a place to stay - to escape his drunk of a father.
He hadn't told his mother later, once things were settled down, because he wasn't off doing senshi things so he didn't need to tell her. But Sasha was here now and it looked like he couldn't ignore senshi things anymore. "I mean...I don't see why I can't...I could." At least she'd understand and not be upset that he had married and not told her, he didn't want to hurt his precious mother by lying to her. But what else could he do? He could just introduce Sasha by first name and never mention a last name. Or he could fainly tell his mother everything, the last secret he'd been keeping from her. She had, despite his best efforts, found out about his father being a raving drunk who enjoyed falling into the bottle as soon as he got home from work. Though now, older and having had his parents go through divorce, knew why his father took to drinking. His mother knew as well. But the mans business had taken off again in recent years, doing well again, and he could only assume the man had pulled himself out of the bottle considering that younger wife he had on his arm...and the two new children he had - biologically his and his new wifes.
"I know Xander but I wasn't sure how to explain having an alien moving in. He's still getting used to Earth and I'm trying to figure out teaching him. I might be book smart, and enjoy reading, but teaching someone....I don't know where to start." And he had a massive book collection, because he enjoyed reading a lot. He had books he'd borrowed from friends, and former friends, and had simply forgotten to return. There were books on all different topics, all different rabbit holes he'd fallen down at various points, he was a curious person who couldn't help but feed his curiosity and need to know. But learning about his planet...that had oddly enough not been something he was curious about...it was boring actually....and easy to get lost on the planet as well.
"I mean I assume because he's alien...or magic. Either option seems like the right answer for why he looks so young. I suppose that might be the answer to why he only eats fruits and honey as well." Looking to Sasha who was nibbling on an orange, because of course he was. It seemed he really liked oranges. "I'm just wondering if an all fruit diet is...healthy. Or if there is anything he might be lacking, in terms of nutritional needs..." Shifting, sitting closer to Sasha, he let an arm go about the smaller, almost protective, they were so small and new to this planet and everything that was normal here. He hadn't powered up much in the alst few years but now he had been...he had to...he needed to keep the other safe when they went out at night.

Blinking, he didn't really feel like he looked young, if anything he looked pretty old for an Erinoman in his opinion. His hair was lighter with age compared to the younger ones from back then. He did feel a bit awkward as the topic of a mother came up, someone that hadn't really been talked about to him and he hadn't thought to ask yet either. Thinking for a moment, he piped up a bit. "I knew Amel.... for 8 rotations and I'm," pausing he thought for a minute as he tried to rouse memories, "20 rotations old." The words had come out slowly between the nibbles of the fruit when he wasn't actively chewing because he didn't want to make a mess. "Ian... not a rotation yet." Time felt different here, which was odd but it made sense since he was far from his homeworld. The rest of the backstory was something he wasn't sure of, but as Ian wrapped an arm around him, his antennae vibrated slightly again as he shifted to keep nibbling while being held. Some of the things he was asking didn't make sense, but it was alright as his attention periodically drifted to the various new things that were around, from plants to the sounds of the smaller humans.
