Star Pox (10) : Genetically modified fruits aren’t exactly new but every now and then something seems to be going on with them. This year, it’s star fruit. The entire batch from Destiny City’s largest supplier has a strange side effect; a few minutes after eating one, star-shaped ‘freckles’ will begin to cover the skin. While this has been colloquially dubbed’ star pox’, it appears to be a harmless allergic reaction. The freckles fade after a few hours and pose no actual health risks; they’ve become quite popular across social media. This might be your only chance to experience the strange trend! …Unless sales are good enough to bring them back.
Thea had been training for who knows how long this morning. She probably would've still been training now if her dad hadn't pulled her out of her zone. Training for boxing was one of the most important things for her. After all she always wanted to be the best she could be, and for that she needed to keep training. The only reason she wasn't now was because her father reminded her that she needed to eat, and not eat Italian or Greek junk food, but healthy food. His words rang in her head, "Healthy food nothing else."
As she walked around the downtown area, she was looking for fruits or healthy items of any kind. That was when she found a small market, and after looking around she noticed a sign about some special kind of star fruit. "Well that sounds yummy! i mean what could be wrong with a fruit shaped like a star," she thought aloud as she headed in the direction it said to go. She smiled as she entered the market, feeling excited to try the star fruit. Which was weird to her as she had never wanted fruit of any kind, she was not that sort of Greek girl.
