The lights would dim for a moment as the build up of the incoming superstars theme would begin.
The lights would spiral around. The colors being blue, red, and yellow, spinning in front of the stage and all throughout the arena.
Finally the break in the song would hit
Born a Hero
SUPER STAN
The rumors were true. GZW had needed a hero and Super Stan had answered the call. The crowd would get up to their feet cheering the hero who would emerge. Wearing his signature Man of Steel-esque suit. Pushing his right arm out in front of him as he made a dash toward the ring. His red cape floating behind him.
Super Stan would make it to ringside where he would dive inside the ring, extending out his extremities. Making it almost dead center of the ring, the Super Hero would get to his feet. Taking to the turnbuckle closest to the time keepers area.
"Introducing at this time. From a Planet Far Far Away. Weighing in tonight at 195 lbs. The one. The only! SUPER STAN!"
The hero would extend out his right arm once again up toward the ceiling as the crowd would get behind the man!

A guitar riff that resembles a Jimmy Hart innovated Sabotage by Beastie Boys waves through the stadium. GZW wasn't paying for music at this stage in their life so they went with the next best thing. Walking out to the ramp was the legendary Marauder, legendary shooter, legendary contract leverager, LEGENDAIRY Summers. The superstar currently in negotiations with multiple companies, Hollywood, and the Lakers was adorned in 6 inch inseam white shorts held up by white suspenders over a white short sleeve button down. His arm was in a white sling and cast covered by a massive white overcoat. In his free hand was a microphone that he used to tip his massive white all around brim hat. You know the ones. White Air Force 1s too. No socks. Jack James is beside him with a bottle of milk rocking a classic all white Lacoste track suit and 1970s white Reeboks. Summers would take in the shock of the crowd. Making his first appearance in wrestling since walking out at the Royal Rumble in WWFG. Was the media proxy war going to end here now that he was making an appearance in GZW?
"Now I know you all know who I am."
The crowd roars. Lots of old head marks in the crowd when it comes to these upstart companies. They want to see if they've found their SWA type alternative to the mainstream wrestling today. Marauders were always over with early G-Fed Wrestling Observer Readers and many of those cats were in attendance. Large portions of the crowd can be heard booing, most likely the modern marks that have seen Summers comeback as a vain attempt to recapture glory and take away from people that stuck around. Ones that follow rumors and innuendo perpetrated by people like the Apex. The general crowd vaguely recognized him from small shots in films, regular paparazzi shots being sideline or court side at major games, and appearances on the Pat McAfee show.
"But you don't know why I'm here."
The whole crowd erupts because callbacks are over.
"As you can see, I am in no condition to entertain a wrestling match with such a big name as.. Super Steve? Stuart? Sarge? I've been pounding milk to strengthen my bones but my broken elbow is holding me out of commission right now. That's only a road bump for the Marauders in GZW. We're not here to take over. We're here to drive up value. This devastating and life threatening injury is not going to stop us from the first key to making the brand bigger, the GZW Iron Wings Championship. The workhorse title built for people like me, like Rizzoto, like Jack James."
Here we go, Summers not putting over young talent. The crowd boos knowing he's probably worked some backstage political shenanigans in his contract negotiations. The fans in GZW loved Super Stan, a true leader and role model for the youth and Legendairy was going to make the kid look at the lights for his debut. Summers waves the microphone at Jack James. The Hollywood Hitter would try to pour the milk to Summers.
"What are you doing? Just take the microphone and hand me the bottle. Why would I want you to pour it in my mouth? What are we doing here?"
Summers would grab the milk and take a few gulps before switching back to the microphone.
"So I've managed to work a clause in my appearances here to use a proxy while I am out so long as I'm here at ringside for the match to keep eyeballs in. Luckily, I've got the perfect Marauder to take on Super Scott. He's the most over man in Is- can I say that? Should I skip it? He's the man that you can slide into any situation. Jack. Light the Marauder Symbol!"
Jack James wheels out a massive light that shoots a massive M at the roof as the building lights go out. Suddenly a spotlight drops at the center of the entrance way for the one and only Marauder hero, Vaseline Man to jump out and run to the ring. The greasy guy would slide into the ring and sly three quarters of the way across the ring before jumping up to his feet to get ready for the bell. Summers follows him down as Jack brings a chair with a tray for Summers to sit while he watches the match and sips milk out of a straw.

Everybody knew who Summers was, even the greatest super hero of all time knew. But just like the crowd, he was confused as to why he was here when he was injured. But it seems like agents of chaos would be taking his place.
Super Stan would prepare himself as what came next was unexpected. It was what might possibly be the greatest foe that Super Stan has encountered. The oiled up body of pure evil! Vaseline Man would emerge from the shadows as the proxy for Summers.
Super Stan would take a step back into his corner as the crowd would be ready to witness the greatest showdown of their lifetime.

Summers was enjoying his calcium infused milk as the bell rang and business began to pick up. Knowing that the Marauders needed to get the workhorse title in hand, Legendairy made a plan to have proper in fight coaching for Vaseline Man from two of the premiere mat technicians in G-Fed history. Paul Summers was seated in a box, complete with monitors if the aerial view became obstructed and a headset to tell Jack James what he was seeing out there. James would pace around the ring listening to what Paul was seeing before the match so he could relay it to Vaseline Man.
The Slippery Superhero slapped his shoulders back and forth like a true trained shooter and circled the ring at the sound of bell. Vaseline Man would inch closer to Super Stan, a man of similar build, and attempt to initiate a lock up to begin this Iron Man competition. The veteran knew he'd need to keep the pace down if he was going to stretch this over the long haul.

After the toll of the bell, the hero would take flight, circling the ring. Meeting with the evil-doer side kick in the center of the ring. The two would slip into the collar and elbow. Slippery. And very evil! This man had to be stopped!
Trying to maintain the hold as best as he could, the Super Hero would look to pull Vaseline Man into a wrist-lock!

Having his wrist twisted by the super grip of Super Stan, Vaseline Man would slap at the shoulder that the wristlock was helping attack a couple of time before landing a headstand roll to slip out of the hold of the glorified Super Hero In Training. Vaseline Man would turn back towards Stan and offer another collar and elbow to get the crowd ready for a 1995 ECW technical masterpiece. If Stan accepted, Vaseline Man would attempt to transition to a side headlock.
"Tell Vasey relax with the flippy s**t. We get it, he liked the Blue Blazer. Too much match left to be pulling those spots out," Paul would bellow into his headset at James.
"Slow it down Vasey Boy! Slooooow it waaaaay down here!" James would repeat to the most recognizable superstar superhero that G-Fed and Israel have ever seen. "The kid's greener than goose s**t, show him the ropes a bit out there."

Incredible athleticism, too bad Vaseline Man is such a heinous evildoer, Super Stan can't properly recognize the abilities of the man.
Vaseline would force another collar and elbow once escaping out of the prior hold, pulling the Hero of the Universe into a headlock. However, not only was Super Stan the strongest and fastest. He was also the smartest. Using the grease the man coated himself in, Super Stan would push on the back of the man and slip out with ease.
The crowd loved it. And like a proper hero, Super Stan would flex and give thumbs up to his loyal followers who were cheering him on in this epic bout!

Vaseline Man not only was not an evil doer nor a do badder. He was the hero to the kids of Israel and X2W for years. Super Stan simply has no nuance or ability to discern right from wrong and thusly has mislabeled the slippery superhero as such. Vaseline Man once saved Brian Solomon from falling off Titan Tower back in Solomon's writing prime even. How could someone like that be considered evil? Just for being a member of an entity that drives up value and profit?
That said, Vaseline Man's expression shifted from grit to surprise as Super Stan slipped his grasp. The slimy savant would jump 180 degrees to face the heroic fan favorite and give a small nod of acknowledgement. The crowd was behind Super Stan and Summers could feel the momentum shifting as they roared for the babyface. The leader of the Marauders would take a long slurp out of his bottle of milk while James continued yelling out holds that Paul tells him. Vaseline Man however knew he needed to wrestle his style, so the Man would run to the ropes behind him and charge full force to attempt a crossbody to Super Stan.

Vaseline Man would begin to sprint towards Super Stan. And Super Stan would do the same back at Vaseline Man. Going for a crossbody.
The two men would clash in the center of the ring at high speeds, striking each other in the air as both men intended to knock the other town with a crossbody. A big smack could be heard and then both men would drop to the mat as the crowd would cheer!

Stan and the Man had similar ideas when it came to the next move which resulted in the huge smack at the center of the ring. The crowd were already up for the first match in the GZW revival card, but the twists before the match and high octane action really got them loud and out of their seats. This Iron Man match was going to go down as a Super Showdown for the Ages.
Selling the contact with Super Stan and the mat, Vaseline Man holds his midsection as he turns his head towards his super competitor. "Double kip up now. These marks love that s**t."
Vaseline Man would then wait a second to see if Stan would set himself up for the kip up and if so, go for the simultaneous jump to their feet, turning to face his opponent like he was in a match for the IWGP JR Heavyweight Championship.

Super Stan would be holding his stomach after the nasty collision as well. But it was going to take more than that. Unknown to everyone that wasn't ringside, Vaseline man would be calling spots! Unbelievable!
Super Stan would poise himself before jumping to his feet at the same time as Evil Man. Pointing at Vaseline once he got to his feet.
"I will never follow the lead of someone. Especially the lead of someone who badmouths his people!"
With an explosive take off, the Hero of the Universe sprinted at Vaseline Man, looking to hit his signature maneuver. The Super Stan Punch!

Vaseline Man gave an annoyed look to Super Stan's exclamation. Vaseline Man turned his head backwards towards the hard camera. "Heh, what a mark," the hero of the Marauders Cinematic Universe would say, not noticing Stan had taken off behind him. Summers stood up as he and Jack James shouted out in unison that something was coming.
--THWAAAACK!!--
The Super Stan Punch collided with the jaw of Vaseline Man and sent him crumbling to the mat. The slimy superhero was not able to slip this jab and was now flat on his back with arms spread out, starfishing. Summers grimaced and turned away on contact, retreating to his chair that was upgrades to include an umbrella.

Down went Vaseline Man. The crowd exploding as Super Stan would drop to the mat, hooking both legs, looking to get the first fall of the match from the out of nowhere, dynamic Super Stan Punch!

1!
2!
3!
Vaseline Man was taken by surprise early and ate the high caliber move before losing the first pinfall. Mean VaseGene would use the natural pinfall break to gather himself for the new round.
Jack James would step in the ring between Super Stan, the referee, and Vaseline Man while Summers would direct traffic. The referee, clearly a green Rick Knox type for a restarted promotion, allows this to happen. Said referee told the Marauder camp to get out of the corner and Vaseline Man jumped up towards the center of the ring. He would goad Super Stan in despite being down. He was possibly out of order.
