Hey everyone! I was just thinking, we've been watching the American Olympic Trials and it is getting me excited for the real thing. So I thought I would make a place to talk about them! So to start us off I have a few questions both Digimon and non-Digimon related!!
Question 1: What is your favorite Olympian Digimon and why?
Question 2: What is your favorite Olympic event, from either Summer or Winter?
Question 3: Do you enjoy/watch the opening ceremonies?
Question 4: Have you even done any of the sports that are in the Olympics and if so which ones?
Question 5: Which Digimon do you think would best at the most Olympic events?
Question 6: If Digimon Families/Groups/Fields were Counties in the Olympic games, which one would you root for/compete for?
Question 7: What is your favorite Olympic moment/memory?

I'll start with my thoughts!
Question 1: What is your favorite Olympian Digimon and why?
Well being that I am the self proclaimed Wind Guardian Tamer, The ones in that category are Ceresmon, Jupitermon and Mercurymon (I guess cause winged shoes?) of those I probably like Ceresmon the most, Giant bird with a plant goddess controlling it, what's not to like!
Question 2: What is your favorite Olympic event, from either Summer or Winter?
Man this is a hard one, why did i ask this haha. Um the ones i make sure to watch in summer are generally Gymnastics and Swimming, but that's probably because it's prime time usually and feels like the Olympics. I generally really like the X-games style events and I'm also a big Baseball fan but have never watched it in the Olympics. Also love Volleyball, both court and beach. As for Winter, it's more like which events don't i like?? My must watch for winter is probably Snowboard Half-pipe though. (Although Skeleton, Bobsled and Curling are all way up there too)
But if I have to pick one over all event it's probably Gymnastics, it always feels the most intense!! And it feels like a big deal to win that one.
Question 3: Do you enjoy/watch the opening ceremonies?
Love the opening ceremonies although sometimes they get a bit weird and as much as i love watching everyone walk out it takes soooooo long!!
Question 4: Have you even done any of the sports that are in the Olympics and if so which ones?
Ones that are currently in the Olympics, I've played Baseball, Volleyball (although not on a team sooo...) Soccer, Swimming, Badmitton and ping pong (Again not on a team haha) and the soon to be added Flag Football.
Question 5: Which Digimon do you think would best at the most Olympic events?
Another tough one, they would have to be really well rounded. Maybe Justimon since he has the different arms and could use those for different events. He might struggle in swimming though since i'm not sure how the cyborg parts would do in water (although a lot of Digimon would have this issue)
Question 6: If Digimon Families/Groups/Fields were Counties in the Olympic games, which one would you root for/compete for? Wind Guardians no question
Question 7: What is your favorite Olympic moment/memory?
Probably basically any time Shaun White won a gold metal!! Love snow boarding and that Flying Tomato was really good. I may or may not have thrown a drink all over my now wife in excitement after he landed the Double McTwist... we were not even dating then haha but she agreed to go out with me a few years later anyways. She still tells that story haha
