Hobbies:
Video Games: Though Cooper only has a handful, he loves video games. Retro ones like the original Playstation, the Game Cube…he thinks that they’re all so neat. Right now he is lucky enough to have a Switch and a total of six games for it, which he plays often and takes care of the best he can. He knows that it’s not the best job out there, but he has a secret desire to one day own a Video Game store…one that has all the games. Maybe for rent! Or maybe a video game cafe! He’s not really sure, but the ideas are endless.

Mysteries: Some of the first books that Cooper read were his fathers old copies of the Hardy Boys. He adored them and has delved into other books, and absolutely loves mystery shows. For his birthday, he and his father and one friend get to do an Escape Room. It’s his favorite part of the day, and he would do them more often if they could afford it.

Cooking: With his father working so hard, Cooper has become the chef of the house. And honestly, he truly enjoys learning new skills. Cookbooks are some of his favorite things to check out at the library, and he has started writing recipes down so that he can keep them forever. He may not be a great cook yet…but he can learn. And will learn. And loves to talk about food and his prowess in the kitchen to anyone who will listen.

Virtues:
Charismatic: Cooper has always had a way with people. A smile that lights up the room, and a natural charm that he very much knows how to use. He fears nothing when it comes to people, and public speaking is a breeze. Often, his father has joked that he will end up being a politician with the way he carries himself. It’s a fun idea, but Cooper always laughs when he says such things. Still…he is absolutely a people person, so maybe one day.

Enthusiastic: When Cooper is excited about something, he doesn’t hold back. He is very passionate, and that is one of the reasons, at least to his mind, that he is so good with people. He knows how to match the energy in a room and when he likes something, you’ll know it. When he wants to share things, that’s great too! There’s never any doubt where Cooper’s feelings lie.

Hardworking: Cooper doesn’t come from money, and even at his age he knows the value of hard work. It’s important to put all of yourself into your work, as that’s the best way to get good out of your work. He applies himself to school with everything he has, and is very much looking forward to summer this year so that he can get himself a job and start helping out with the expenses that his father shoulders.

Flaws
Obsessive: When Cooper finds something that he likes, or wants…he fixates. It can take over his life, and has at points. He doesn’t know how to turn off the wanting part of his brain, and when he decides to do something, that’s it. It’s going to plague him, and everyone around him until it gets done. No matter if it be buying something, meeting someone or achieving a goal.

Impulsive: Cooper has an issue where he enjoys doing before thinking. When something strikes his fancy, that’s it. There’s no time to dwell on it, think about it, or even plan for it, he just goes for it…even if it’s a bad idea, it doesn’t matter. What Cooper wants to do, he does. And if you try to ask questions? Get plans done? Forget it, Cooper is already doing it.

Opinionated: Cooper has thoughts. He doesn’t like to change what his thoughts are, and if you try…well. More often than not you’ll get laughed at, or just straight up stared at and ignored. It’s like with his ideas. Cooper doesn’t enjoy letting people tell him what to do, or think, or feel. When he finds something that he believes in, that’s it. There’s no changing him, unless he wants to change whatever it is.
