Magion wasn’t sure where the light was taking her, but following it had never been in doubt, and she hoped that it would lead her to people.
What she didn’t expect is that it would lead her somewhere else...somewhere…different. Bright. With artificial lights like she used to have on Magion…it…was lovely, if she were being honest. There were noises here…and it was almost to the point of being overwhelming but…again. It reminded her of the good times…when things were the way they were supposed to be.
She spun in a slow circle, trying to get her bearings…it…had been such a long time since she had seen so much. So much life so much thriving...she.
Honestly, she wasn’t quite sure where to go from here, where to begin…so of course, the only way she could go was forward.
So that was what she did, turning her head every which way to take in everything.
It had been so long since she had felt another aura, that it didn’t even register when one came into her sensing range. Though…the Mauvian was seen. When Magion figured out that it was a living creature, she gave a pleased, excited gasp and made her way over. It never occurred to her that she might scare it. Never occurred to her that it could be something dangerous.
“Oh my goodness! You are beautiful! and you are alive!!”
The glee in her voice was absolutely genuine and she couldn’t stop herself from reaching out, just to make sure the creature was real.

Lucien often spent the evenings lurking around the city, sneaking through the shadows to assess the state of everything. How much time did Earth have until Chaos took over? How many more agents of Chaos would be pulled from the light?
Feeling Senshi in the city wasn’t unheard of, but he was always curious when he felt them. He approached, and she seemed drawn to him as well.
“Your compliments are appreciated. You are aesthetically pleasing as well,” he said as he puffed out his chest and curled his large tail around him. He didn’t sense any other auras, but just in case, he put a dampening field around them just in case.
“Although I must say that I’m concerned by your comment about being alive. Would you be kind enough to elaborate?”
Strange. Earth was strange as it was, but without knowing additional context, he wasn’t sure how to take it.
“My name is Lucien,” he added after a moment, as it was only polite to introduce himself to a Senshi that may be in need of help.

“Well, thank you!” Magion all but glowed when he returned the compliment, and she blinked in some confusion at his question. That…well…it wasn’t obvious? She had to admit that she was slightly surprised by his speaking, but when she finally noticed the star on his forehead, she was pleased that the first creature she had run into was a Mauvian! That was such a good sign!
“I’ve been alone on one of the islands of Magion for the longest time, and the light that just brought me here was a very…it’s never done that before, and while I’m sure there are others still on the other islands, it’s impossible to get past the storms that rage there…but! That’s all right! You’re the first living being that I have seen in…more time than I can really count, so it is…oh it is nice to speak to someone who can speak back to me! I am Sailor Magion! And it is a pleasure to meet you, Mauvian Lucien!”

“Fascinating,” he tilted his head with sincere wonder. “This is your first time on Earth? I am glad you seem to be in good spirits.”
His memories were practically all gone. A millennia of stasis kept his body alive, but at the cost of everything he knew on a personal level. His skills as a Mauvian seemed more ingrained than learned, at least.
“If you would allow me, I could provide you with a tool to help stay in contact with others here, and a way to return home should you wish--”
Lucien paused after a moment, realizing he was getting ahead of himself. He’d only been on Earth about a year now, but it seemed so normal to him now that him being the first living being she’d seen in quite some time…?
“Forgive me. I must inform you that, for whatever reason, you have been brought to this world. However, do not take your presence here lightly. There are agents of Chaos that would wish to do you harm, or corrupt your starseed, or simply destroy it. But… you will find more Senshi and Knights here than you could probably imagine. Most people who live here are from Earth, reborn from the era referred to as the Silver Millenium. I will provide you access to an application to make contact with others.”
He’d already sized her up, observed the colors she wore, and had pulled a phone from subspace to tinker with and get just right for her.

“How could someone not be in good spirits!” Magion’s eyes were still sparkling as she watched the Mauvian. He looked so soft, so warm! She wanted to reach out and touch him, but even a thousand years of being alone didn’t override her concept of personal space. “This is the first conversation I’ve had…with something–someone who has spoken back to me in…far, far too long. It’s so good to hear a voice besides my own!”
She nodded at his offerings. “If you have tools for me, I am absolutely receptive of them! I’ll take anything! I…yeah? Would I be able to come back down here with it, if I go back up to Magion?”
Honestly, that was the only real…issue that she found in all of this but. She fell quiet during the rest of his words and nodded eagerly. “That sounds awful. There is a large chaos monstrosity on my world…it’s what cut me off from the other islands…but it’s always been far too strong to face, and I haven't been able to get to it either. All of the great ships have sunk so there’s no way to get out to him…”
Him? It? The great storm? Whatever it was. She knew it was keeping her from the rest of those who lived on her planet. There was no way that they weren’t still out there. Magion simply was cut off from them, that was all.
“I appreciate all the help that you can give me! You are so sweet!”

“You would,” Lucien confirmed about her coming back to Earth as he continued adjusting the settings to her starseed’s resonance and the technology in the phone. Once he was completely satisfied with the phone, he nudged it over to her.
“The center button will take you back to your world. Press it again to return here,” he explained, before clicking a few of the buttons to show her how the rest of the phone worked. There was some that would take a bit of time to get used to, especially since she likely didn’t know how to read English. He certainly had to learn, and he knew Alastor and all those who came from other worlds had to as well, but he made sure to show her where to go to have the phone speak the words out loud to her.
Just in case, he set it as the default option. Perhaps it would help her learn faster this way.
She was enthusiastic, maybe concerningly so. As long as she was able to curb her enthusiasm during dangerous situations, he was confident in her abilities.
“Here is my contact, as well as the application you can put your information into. You can input voice narration and have the phone read it back to make sure it is the information you wish to convey.”

The center button will take her back to her own world. He was saying a lot of things, and Magion was nodding as though she absolutely understood everything, but in reality she…
Well. She didn't.
“Thank you! You know so much!” When she reached for the phone, the first thing she did…naturally, was to click on the center button! She knew what that did! She knew what that did and…
And then suddenly she was alone again. Back on Magion.
“....Oops….”
