It had been a moon or two since Briska decided that she wanted to help them out as a surrogate again and Isaris had done his duty by the family. Vallen had spoiled him rotten upon his return for doing something that was mildly easier for himself than for his very traditional mate. He adored Isaris all the more for making that sacrifice.
He would volunteer again if they wanted more kids after this, though he wouldn't mind more kids from Isaris if his mate was willing again. Vallen was obsessed with having a large family, he had come from one and wanted that sort of network bond for his own children and for himself.
"We should be hearing any day now if your...endeavors were successful."
He really hoped they had been, he wanted new babies so very very bad. It was an urge a want and a compulsion all wrapped into one. He wanted many many babies with this man.

"Me too." He said emphatically. "You seem tense." Vallen rubbed his mates shoulders, getting to all the knots that had formed since the last time he had rubbed his mate's back. "I bet the boys would be excited. I pray to the stars for a girl this time. Though I would not mind a boy either. I just want more kids lets be fair." He grinned at Isaris and ruffled his hair. "I am so enamored with them being of your blood. I was more than willing to go first but I really really wanted your kids too." Alas they lacked the neccessary equipment thus their help. "I am so very pleased that she agreed to help us again. Nine months of roundness is nine months."

His face brightened. "You know what this means! We get to shop for tiny people clothing again, and bring out the boys' old things, they were so cute." He was surprised at how much that thought hit him. Having the boys tiny and adorable had been so fun. Now they were getting older at an alarming rate and were approaching Isaris in height. He smiled with his whole heart at his mate. "You have made me so very happy." He felt so at peace with their decision to have more kids. He had wanted them so very bad. Kids were fun. Kids with his Isaris' face....well that was special.

He smiled. His mate was just the sweetest being. "I am sure she will be grateful, I feel bad that the jungle took her mate from her too soon, much too soon. I don't know what I would do without you, I guess survive and ensure that the children thrive but I appreciate your help and love and support so very much that to loose that now, it would be devastating." And woe be them who hurt his mate.
"That is also true it has been some time and some new critter generations since they had to deal with someone small and squawky. I still remmeber those tiny little cries! And then they got louder and more obnoxious. He grinned. Reminded him of himself when they were that old. Poor Isaris having an adult kid among so many smalls. He lifted his head. "Do you hear that? Sounds like a message runner...might we finally have the news we crave?"

He stared aghast at his mate. "You are much stronger than I am, make lunch...I would probably chop a finger off while forcing one of my ears to enlarge so I could hear the news at the door." He shook his head, swatting playfully at the shorter stockier male as he wandered toward the door. He could not make his feet slow down however. His heart raced far a head of his body. This was the moment, please, please, please, if this was just a random message from a family member he might just scream. He took a massive breath and opened the door. He eyed the messenger, a brown leather clad, hyper looking leaf boy who spouted his spiel and bowing handed Vallen the letter. He feeling it was right bowed back and accepted with both hands...then he savagely ripped it open his eyes razing the thick fine paper. He let out a great whoop of joy that no doubt shook the rafters.

He was trying not to hyperventilate as his eyes filled and his face took on a decidedly posessed countenance. "He will recover no doubt, I might not.... Isaris, twins...and all the signs point to...girls. No way to be sure until they come but they did that fancy ring test and it kept with the girl sign..AHHHHH IMMA BE A DAD AGAIN YESSSS! " He hopped around the house, parkouring off the walls, and slamming into his mate for a proper hug and kiss. "Glad the boys were not here to see me do that, they might..get ideas." He laid little smooches all over Isaris's face. "You DID IT, We are going to have girls (mostly likely.).

Smugly Vallen nodded. "Aye TWINS!" He crowed like a dementedly happy rooster. "I have no idea how to work with girls but well so long as they like playing in mud it cant be that bad right? I hear that boys are harder young but easier at about the boys's age, wonder why girls are scary when they get older. Seze my sister was always scary so that changed not at all when she grew up, my other sister was sweet and boys well we know already was boys are like. "Definitely going to need new clothes, ooh pastelssss." He liked color, they had used more saturated color with the boys to hide the stains that seemed magnetized to their jungle dwelling sons...he was sure the animals didn't help with that either. "Girls..girls, I might have to visit Mom and ask what to expect....you had no sisters did you? Oh, I can't help but feel slightly unprepared but they all come out as cooing babies so we have time to learn!"

"We are!" He was over the moon. He had the best boys and now soon he would have two more babies to moon over and spoil and he was just so ready to be a Dad again. "Soon Isaris, the time will fly, I'm sure. It says here the due date estimate too, seems like a while but actually not too bad." He was being brave saying that, it looked like forever. Gah. He was just not a patient man for this sort of thing, it was like waiting for your birthday but a new you. Or a favored holiday. That sort of feeling. Briska was an excellent surrogate and they had been able to work well with her before.
