Dagon. Madelyn had wondered about the person she had written about. This wife of the past, but after everything had happened, nothing really resonated with her. Dagon was just a name that…really didn’t have much meaning attached to it…but.
But now.
Ever since she had gotten that memory, after resonating with her Code piece, finding the signet ring that the Code had given her…she couldn’t stop thinking of Dagon.
The woman was beautiful. Tall and lovely, and the very idea of seeing her again sent shivers down Madelyn’s spine.
She wrote the note first, on heavy paper, studded with glitter. It was beautiful.
Quote: Dagon, I apologize that it has taken me so long to reach out. Things have been strange, it’s difficult to adjust to being a new person. I wrote to myself about you. A long letter, but I have forgotten the memories that I held when I was in the Negaverse, and your name was something that inspired curiosity, but nothing else, I am sorry to say. I’m not sure if you heard but there was some issues with us Knights, and I had to go up to my Wonder–Dagon I want to have you there to visit, I think you’ll enjoy it. I’m a Knight of the Moon, and it is an honor to be so. Truthfully…I haven’t done much with it, but…I feel renewed–anyway! Back to my story, There was something wrong and I had to go to my Wonder and help the Code piece there…and it brought back a memory of us together…and then granted me my signet ring so that I can contact you, I’m not sure if it was fate or just a blessing from some God, but I am not angry about it. Carefully, Madelyn folded her note and made her way to the park, checking to make sure that the coast was clear before she powered up, and with a smile, and a soft pink lipstick kiss to the paper, she wrote Dagon’s name, and pressed her ring to it, pleased when it vanished into the night.

The note had arrested Dagon's entire....everything. She was already out on patrol when she received it, and it stopped her right in her tracks.
She thought of Retzian often. Wondered why she hadn't seen her. Feared the worst, sometimes--that she had come to harm, either from the Negaverse or from someone on Dagon's own side. There were many terrible possibilities, and all of them weighed on her heart. To have found her beloved, only to lose her again, and to never know for certain....it broke her heart.
But it seemed that was not what had happened.
She knew only vaguely of troubles with the Knights, and their Code, but it seemed that trouble was, in the end, a blessing for her.
Because Retzian--Frigoris, Frigoris of the Moon, her beloved was a Knight--had forgotten her, once more. And yet. The Code had reminded her.
She ran to Eastern Park, as fast as she could go, any other thoughts forgotten in the rush of hope.
And there she was, resplendent.
"Frigoris?" She was certain, and yet it came out as a question anyway. "You are.....radiant."

] The park was a beautiful one, and it had a swinging bench, and honestly…that was what made it Frigoris’ favorite. She sat on the bench now, and as she felt the aura of an Eternal Senshi growing near, her heart began to pick up speed. She didn’t stand, but she kicked off from the ground hoping to look…elegant. Or at least…
That had been her plan until Dagon. Dagon spoke.
She was…she was absolutely stunning. And upon seeing her in the flesh, she understood that the dreams she had been having more than she wished to admit were…all true.
They had all come true.
Standing before the swing had even stopped, the Knight shook her head. “That’s…that’s me! Dagon! You are the most beautiful woman I have ever seen in my life.”
Her eyes were wide, taking in all that she could and as she crossed the distance between them, she gave a little laugh, cheeks turning pink.
“And that’s something big to say because I get to see myself in the mirror every day.”

A thousand years ago, a Knight of the Moon would never have existed. Certainly Dagon had never heard of one. But here was one before her, and it was...it was her Knight.
She'd known, before, that Retzian was the reincarnation of her beloved. But to see her here, again...it made Dagon's chest ache in the best possible way.
"I have missed you for...so long." Her first death. Finding her again, but finding her corrupted. Her long disappearance. All of it left Dagon feeling off-kilter and half-lost, but now, looking at her again...she felt oh so found.
A laugh passed her lips, and she reached up to fuss with her own hair.
"If you think I compare to you, I must be lovely indeed in your eyes."

Frigoris felt her face heating up and she laughed, shaking her head. “Clearly we both just need to see one another the way we’re seen by one another…how…do we start this? How do you want to start this?”
There was no fear of if...which was…honestly. One of the biggest things she had been worrying about. All traces. All fear of if…must have died with Retzian. Which…she wasn’t angry about. But this? The only issue with this, was how. How to move forward. What their next steps would be.
“...Would you go on a date with me? An Earth date? I would truly enjoy that, if you were in the mood?” She paused and shook her head. “When would you like to go on a date with me. I don’t know if we have to. I don’t feel as though there is an if with you. I was just thinking that…so when should we start this? What should we do next?”

"I'll go anywhere, wherever, to Hell if you ask it," was what Dagon wanted to say, but she had the general understanding that might be considered "coming on too strong." So instead, she nodded.
"I would love to go on an Earth date with you. I can make time whenever you would like-=-but I haven't been on one in a thousand years, so you'll forgive me if I'm a bit rusty."
It didn't feel so bad, anymore. All that loneliness. It felt like a pause, a breath--like she had spent all that time waiting to come home. And her journey, now--it was almost over.

“There’s nothing wrong with being rusty…I would love to come and see Dagon too, if you would take me. And I would love to show you around Frigoris as well.” Honestly, she wanted to see more of her Wonder too, and it would be nice not to have to go alone all the time.
“Do you have a phone? Can we call one another? I will plan the date and it can happen.”
She didn’t want to say that she was holding butterflies in her stomach and that it felt as though there was going to be a happily ever after but…
There were. And it did. And thankfully…Dagon seemed to feel the same. “Is there anything that you have done here that you don’t like? Anything I should avoid?”

Dagon frowned, a little. "I would love to see Frigoris, but my world...Chaos has left it ravaged, I'm afraid. Not much worth seeing, until it's repaired."
Her world deserved her attention, she knew, but there had been so much to handle on Earth....ugh. She needed to return. Needed to scout out the situation, and find the source of the poison so that she could kill it once and for all.
"But I can give you my civilian phone number, yes," she said. "I...have had few experiences here I have not enjoyed. But I know that I have heard of a thing called a water park? I have not been, but I think I would like to." Especially if it really did involve lots of water. "Though it may be much trouble. And I would be content simply to share a meal and talk with you. Anything at all, truly."
