Magic and Technology co-exist in this world!
Technology in the Phox Cafe is equivalent to our current Real-World technology; Smartphones, Laptops, Gaming PC's, flashy headphones, smartwatches, the works!
The good news is there's hardly any reason to lose your chargers, as magic is used to charge most devices. However, things that need plugged in still need plugged in as electricity is definitely still a thing.
Why?
No one really knows.
(The residents have learned not to question things.)
Magic is also absolutely a thing!
While phoxes are required to have their chopsticks handy as basically a magical focus, phoxes can learn a wide variety of magic!
All phoxes have an innate ability to create small amounts of magic, but without training and focus, the most an untrained phox can really do is cast something harmless....like pocket glitter. Even though some may argue that's not exactly harmless...
If a phox somehow loses their chopsticks, they will be severely magically limited and sometimes may not be able to access their inner magic at all, as their chopsticks contain the blessing of the Celestial.
