General Rules Please Read All Forums before asking questions. We try to be as accommodating as possible with questions, but we would prefer that people check the entirety of the guild or discord before inquiring. Many answers can be found right here. This is not to discourage asking, though! If it isn't here, ask away.
Behave Yourselves. No slurs, insults, or mean-spirited behavior will be tolerated. Absolutely no Transphobia, Homophobia, Racism, Body-Shaming and the like will be tolerated, even as 'jokes' or memes. This is a LBTQ+, Black Lives Matters, pro-vaccines, Free Palestine, anti-TERF owned shop and Discord. While everyone is entitled to their own opinions, we want everyone to be aware of our stance. If these concepts make you uncomfortable, then this shop and our Discord might not be for you!
Do not copy, edit, or otherwise steal any of the artwork. You may only edit the art if you are a cafe employee (Artist). You may NOT color/make your own.
No begging or guilt trips. Manners go a long way. Anyone caught using manipulative behavior to get a Phox will be immediately graylisted and potentially blacklisted.
Payment is due within 24 hours of winning unless stated otherwise or worked out between customer and chef.
Co-ownership is not allowed, things get messy, so for now we are avoiding Co-Owning.
Please keep all drama checked at the door. We want the Cafe to be a fun place, and while not everybody has to like each other, we all should treat one another with civility and respect. We're all (Hopefully) adults here, so please try to act with maturity. We have a Zero-Tolerance harassment and bully policy.

Shop Rules You need to own a pet here before you can roleplay. You may not borrow another person's pet, whether or not you have their permission.
Humans do exist in this world, but must not be a focus of any RP.
RP is not required to keep your pet. RP does come with perks, however! Staff may never take a pet away due to lack of RP, unless the character is essential to the lore of the shop and a warning is given before the pet is homed that RP is required to keep them.
When someone declines plots, RP, or a breeding that means no. Continuing to pester them will cause a staff member to intervene.
In the interest to make the shop run as smoothly as possible and as well as secure safety, people who cause, threaten, or allude to actual harm to a staff-member that does not occur within the shop can be removed from the shop completely to ensure safety.
To join the gaia guild you need 100 posts. If you do not have 100 posts but a friend in the shop, said friend can vouch for you and we will accept you. If you lack a friend in the shop, consistent talking in-thread will allow entry into the guild.
If a staff-member quotes you with directions, please take any questions about said directions to that specific staff-member. Going to another staff-member can cause communication errors, and stress. If you are participating in customs/breedings/an event run by a specific staffer and need a direct answer about said event, please ask the person running the event.
You cannot take a pet to be certed before the official image has been dropped directly to you. In the case of event or game wins, you must quote that you accept the price. The uncert will be officially dropped to you. After they are dropped you may then proceed to cert them.
If you win a pet from a game or an event but do not accept them within two weeks by using the proper quotes, the pet will either be re-rolled or be put in as a back-up pet. If you decline the win the same thing will occur.
If you gift a pet to someone, or receive a pet, and do not cert them within 30 days of the character’s drop date, the pet goes back to the gifter or the shop to do with as they please.
You cannot intentionally recreate a pre-existing character design that does not belong to you in the shop. Similar designs will exist from time to time, but you cannot intentionally steal the design from an artist or customer, even if minor changes (such as marking placements) are applied. The only way identical characters can exist in the shop is if they were bribed together as adult "twins' or siblings, were made specifically for an event/game or if they popped out of the same bowl.
Cosplays are allowed. There is no limitation to how many times a cosplay can be purchased, as long as the phoxes are not exact clones.
