Cornetified
After being stuck in a tree throughout the night because of a relentless storm, Cyrus now found himself stuck organizing his gear to see if anything had taken damage. "Looks good so far." He mused quietly, looking over each and every arrow before tucking them back into his quiver. It was still a bit of a delicate situation though considering his bag needed to dry out in the morning sunlight before he dared to venture into the nearby village for more supplies. It would be nice though to get some fresh food, even a loaf of bread sounded amazing right now, and it wasn't as if he had much choice considering how much of his rations had been lost in the storm last night while rushing towards shelter. The dried jerky could only last him so long and he wasn't certain what would be left of the berry bushes after the storm that had wrecked a good portion of the forest last night.
"What a mess." Especially considering he wasn't alone after encountering a stranger in the rain yesterday, the pair barely making it into the small shelter that they had found before the rain locked them into place for the night. He was afraid to even wonder what she was doing at the moment, Cyrus having gone straight to organizing his belongings without even checking on her yet.
