Doesina 1 Doesina opened the door to a quiet house. She put her bag down on the table, wondering how long it'd been since everyone else had left. She herself had been gone a few days to Zinris to visit with her grandmother, a monthly agreement the two had where the younger Elaria would travel to the home of the elder, mostly for an assessment of her training. Or, rather, so Mayella could point out all the areas where Doesina was doing something wrong. She'd long since learned how to tune it out. She could fight where it counted. Just because her arms were a little bit softer than the average Aishan meant nothing. Her grandmother was just traditional and far too set in her ways to change them now.
Though she'd much rather have stayed in Rens. Or, rather, if she were more truthful, to stay around someone. Doesina smiled to herself as she grabbed a mug from the cupboard, placing it down on the countertop while she hunted out the kettle and started a small fire in the stove for tea. She assumed both women were off doing odd jobs. Her mother liked to help out the other Sisters in the town to help pass away her hours. Or maybe she was visiting Silke, to share news and her own cup of tea. She hoped Sini was making friends with the locals, as well. But maybe not too close of a friendship.
The Elaria stopped in her preparations, her hand hovering over her mug of hot water with the teabag suspended between two fingers. Where did that come from? She would need to put a stop to that. Sini could be friends with whoever she pleased. So what if she liked being the one the hybrid spent the most time with and secretly hoped she would be the first one home so Doesina could spend some time alone with her?
Sticking a spoon in her mug, she turned around to the table and sat down, holding the hot cup between her two hands to wait.

Vilasini was still a buzz of energy even after being in Yael for a couple of days now. Everything about the strange country fascinated her, and being with Doesina only made her heart race even more as they explored the area together. Or rather as Vilasini was introduced to it? The hybrid still couldn't believe she had actually left Jahaur with the Elaria, but here they were and she was doing her best to keep up and be positive instead of feeling overwhelmed by it all. There were moments when she was a bit distracted, sometimes stumbling into something by mistake when she was caught up in her thoughts and feelings, but for the most part Vilasini greeted every new day with a bright smile. Even as more Aishans came around, their proximity to the Elaria encampments bringing a new form of tension that Vilasini wasn't expecting, the hybrid still found comfort in knowing that Doesina was with her. At least when the Elaria made her heart jump it was in a completely different way than when she had felt threatened by the menzuri, the realization bringing another light flush to her cheeks as she returned from a small visit to wandering traders with newly acquired goods swinging in the satchel hanging at her side.
Well, we'll figure it out eventually. She mused quietly to herself, giving a firm nod before knocking at the door and slowly opening it. Was anyone home yet? Either way Vilasini was ready to seek shelter since she knew wandering eyes weren't too fond of an Aishan hybrid lingering in the area, especially not one that wasn't quite raised in their traditional ways. "Oh! You're home." The relief that tinged her voice was obvious as Sini noticed Doesina and scooted inside. "You know whenever Rek waited at home with a teacup in his hands like that....well it often meant a lecture for me. I'm not in trouble, am I?" She teased lightly, her expression bright as she looked over Doesina with that familiar fluttering feeling in her chest once more.

Doesina 2 The Elaria had just taken a sip of her tea, the temperature of it still too hot, when the door opened. Far quicker than she had expected. What were the chances of that?
Putting down her mug, Doesina looked at the door. A smile and a blush of pleasure spread across her face when she saw which of the other two women it was. Of course, she would have been happy to see her mother walk through the door. After spending so many years away from home, she couldn't spend nearly enough time with Chrysa to make up for it. But the sight of Sini brought a different feeling to her chest. One that she was not as ignorant of anymore.
"I am. Earlier than I expected." Because spending time with her grandmother was the last thing she wanted to do right now. With a mischievious smile, she couldn't help adding, "Did you miss me?" before settling into a little giggle. "Mm, I wouldn't know anything about that. I just get here. Did you do anything that would warrant a lecture?" Doesina raised the mug once more to her lips, trying to hide her amusement behind the hot drink.
