Spring storms can often appear with out little notice and last for days. They are filled with strong winds and heavy rain, which means one must halt their travel if they are able to even get outside during the downpour. Your character has found themself stuck away from home in an area with others seeking to avoid the storm. Who do they meet? What do they talk about? How do they feel about the storm?

Rain, rain go away. Cahira couldn’t help but to think of the old rhyme as she stared outside at the darkening storm clouds. It looked like a true storm was about to hit and the hybrid couldn’t help worrying about the tiled ceiling of the small swordsman academy she owned. Would they be able to patch it in time and if not did she have enough buckets to catch all of that water? “Hmm.” Cahira placed a hand on her hip thoughtfully, her fingers tapping against the training leathers that she wore for the morning lessons. The building itself was still old, but in far better condition than when she had first acquired it but the tiled roof still had issues with leaks whenever it stormed badly enough even as she continued to patch it over the years. And with the look of that sky….well, it probably would need a bit of fixing up again after today’s storm. Seriously, where did this weather even come from? It was so unexpected since the morning had been so bright and nice before she heard the first rumble of thunder.
“Oh well. I think I’m ready to put up a fight.” Cahira grinned as she cracked her knuckles, preparing for the upcoming battle with the heavy rains that were about to hit the area. At least most of her students had left after the morning lesson and she could only hope that they had made it safely home as the first huge drop of rain splattered against the ground outside.
