The thought of the Code Piece that sat deep within his Wonder being out of sync nagged at Terry until he and Seung had the time to go and visit each of their respective Wonders. It thankfully didn't take long to find said time, their twins being over at their grandparents and work for the day had been neatly put off.
The duo had agreed to come with each other to their Wonders for both company and assistance where needed though there had been some back and forth about which Wonder they would go to first. Not due to wanting to go to their Wonder first oh no, the husbands had softly argued about going to the other man's Wonder first. After all, while the situation was nagging at Terry, he didn't want Seung to be power handicapped for longer than needed. Still they eventually agreed on the order of visitations which is why Terry was soon powering up and taking Venice by the hand as he transported them to his Wonder.
He had plenty of practice at landing where he wanted to within his Wonder thanks to the frequent visits over the years so when the teleport was over they were standing within the Erebus mansion at the main entrance. "I already know where the Code is so it shouldn't take too long thankfully. I brought us a close to it as I could so we wouldn't have to walk through the town." He said with Venice with a small smile that was partly off as being on his Wonder currently was a mix of the familiar homesafedelight and offwronghelp that seemed to be the de-sync with the Code Piece.
Over the years the magic and work he had put into his Wonder had made sure that the mansion was once again strong with no cracks or dangerous faults so the entrance way looked pleasant with no visible decay. Any furniture or decorations that had once been in there had been moved to a different room for storage and slowly over the years Erebus had brought a few small things here and there to replace them but that wasn't his focus currently.
"Alright, lets get this started so we can head to yours sooner rather then later." Still holding Venice hand, he started to lead his husband further into the mansion to where the stairs would be leading them down three floors to stand in front of stone doors that had intricate carvings on them.

It was never an argument over wanting something for themselves but rather wanting something for the other, something the other didn't want or something else, their arguments were always to try and help the other though and were well meaning. Never heated or negative. Seung supposed that was a good thing though he did dislike the fact they argued at all, as he'd rather avoid them, but these little arguments couldn't really be avoided due to the nature of them.
At least he'd gotten his way with this and Erebus was pulling him along to his wonder, a place he'd been to before, though it had been awhile since he'd been here. "I don't think you've ever shown me where the code is here..." And he'd never found it on his wonder, as he'd told hhis spouse at the meeting, he was only glad his partner hadn't teased him over it too much. There had been some teasing.
Over the years they had both helped each other in wonder building, it helped when both of them could bring thigns via subspace, so some things got done faster and more things could be brought up and thus certain repairs could be made. If they had to go at this alone...he didn't think eitehr wonder would be as built up as they were. There was still work to do, there always would be, but they'd both made progress over the years. He'd been in the large mansion before, helped bring some of the ffurnishings here, both were labors of love and devoation. It helped that they helped each other with something they each cared abotu so much.
"Yeah, yeah, we'll get to my wonder. Don't worry. Let's focus on this and than we'll think about mind, we don't know how long this'll take." Giving the others hand a squeeze. "You're ok though? After what the code said I'm wondering how you're feeling up here."

"No, I haven't shown you yet. I promise it wasn't a lack of trust for it though." Erebus said with a thoughtful look on his face. "Besides the Code, there was no reason to take you into the basement levels when we visited and I guess it never came up." He himself didn't visit the Piece often so it hadn't occurred to him before now to bring Seung to it. "I wonder if I had, whether it would have helped you find yours sooner."
While a lot of the furnishings they had brought were mainly in the areas meant for living in such as the bedrooms, the studies, the library, the kitchens, and the like, there were evidence of their work even through the hallway they had walked through to get to the basement stairs. Pictures of the Wonder in it's various stages of decay and restoration sat on a table pressed against a wall for example was one. Erebus had affectionately called it the life progress table as the more personal photo's were kept either at their home or up in his past life's bed room. Every time he would pass by anything they had worked together for while on his Wonder it would bring a smile normally, just as it would when he saw the same while on Venice's Wonder.
They had just started to go down the stairs when Venice as him how he was feeling and he lightly chewed his bottom lip for a moment as he thought on how to describe it. "Everything feels off. Out of step, disconnected, and as if I'm being screamed at from a distance that there is danger but I can't make out the words." He squeezed his husband's hand back as he answered. "It's unnerving and hard to describe fully."

"No offence taken, especially not if it's as boring as you make it sound." Saying that as he followed at the others side, letting them guide where they were going. "Mmm, it might have but I didn't see the point either. It's safe at my wonder and doesn't need to be found, at least that's how I figured it until now." Now they had to go and visit Erebus' code piece and than find his...because he had no idea where it was.
Leaning in close, pressing hips lips to the others temple. "It'll be fine, we're here and soon it'll stop yelling at you. I figure I'll get hit with that, perhaps more, when we get to my wonder." Since he'd never found his code piece it was likely to be very displeased with him, despite all the work they'd both put into restoring his wonder, it was something that they'd continue to do as much as they could.
"As much as I do love our wonders, and I know you do as well, I worry that they and their planets will never be whole again...not in our life times. They'll fal lto ruin again, as we found them, and the whole cycle will start again. That they'll never be built back to where they once were - before their falling." It did at times feel like such auseless thing to aim for...something that was a waste of their time..that it wouldn't have meaning at the end of the day. It was all drops of water in a bucket...a very big bucket.
"Do you ever feel like that? That as much as our wonders have given to us...that we just can never give enoug h- that we can never bring them back., We can't even read anything we find here." Maybe he was just feeling off because of this all, because something was wrong, a set back in things. Just reminding him that all the progess would die away once they died, hopefulyl of old age, and than someone else might pick up the project and the same thing would happen again. That never would things remain and not keep cycling between two states of being.
