Antisana glowered at the wispy remains of youma dust as they drifted deceptively innocently on the breeze.
Despite having successfully dusted it with only a few minor wounds to show for it... he hadn't actually felt the youma approach. It acted as little more than a feral creature, so it'd be odd for it to have any abilities of particular interest. It definitely, definitely should not have had any ability so significant that it could dampen all of Antisana's abilities.
He'd powered up to go to his wonder, and even that had felt... different. Worse. There were generally few things that could comfort him more than pulling on Antisana's guise, but it felt like powering up was some kind of struggle, sapping his energy away. Odd, and it had threaded the first beads of concern and doubt in his heart. Why was powering up so hard? Was something wrong with him...? Maybe it wouldn't matter, once he was actually on his wonder.
Antisana was very meticulous in budgeting his Earth time. He didn't really want to be here unless he had to be. It was easier to be on his wonder; he wasn't afraid of being attacked while he slept. And he'd made arrangements in his personal life such that he could spend one week on Antisana, and one week on Earth, consistently. That was his schedule.
So when he was barred from going to his wonder, when no amount of the mantra would bring him there, he knew something was afoot.
And then, moments later, the youma.
With his ring, he'd sent out a ping for assistance as soon as he realized his weapon wouldn't come to him easily. He didn't need it or his magic; he'd learned to do without as a Page, but that didn't make it any less inconvenient to not have them. No staff, no aspect, couldn't get to his wonder- Why was everything wrong?
The youma was not incredibly troublesome even without these things. It had clawed down his bicep and chomped down close to his ankle. The wounds stung, but did not seem to have any other adverse effects. No... poisons or anything that he could tell. Still should be cleaned, though. Antisana slid down the wall into a sit. Grumbling, he procured water and a cloth from his space pocket (that still worked) and set to dabbing blood off his arm.
