Fact: Mike is hott! heart
Fact: One day, Chester drove by Lincoln Park in Santa Monica, California. He thought the name was catchy and mentioned it to the other band members. Being pressured by another band to change their name, HT named themselves after the park. They changed the spelling around to get the domain name on the net (www.linkinpark.com).
Fact: Linkin Park used to be called 'Hybrid Theory', but conflicts with another band's name made them change it. Even before they were called 'Hybrid Theory', their band name was Xero, but again, it was taken by someone else.
Fact: Chester has a strange habit of showing his a**, and mooning people.

Fact: Phoenix got hurt (not too bad) during the making of the "Breaking the Habit" music video. He popped his knee out when doing the shoots for it.

Brad came into the studio bus, where Mike was working, to record a new idea. Brad recorded scratch guitar tracks for "faint" over a click track (no drums, no music), expecting the tempo to be about 70 BPM (beats-per-minute). He returned to the bus a couple of days later, and Mike had put together the beat at 135 BPM - almost twice as fast. After careful deliberation, Brad and Mike decided the faster beat was more fun.

Fact: It took almost a year to put together the song "Somewhere I Belong"
Fact: Mike came up with the intro sample and chorus music for "Lying From You" during an overnight bus drive during Ozzfest.
