I live with the snow, mosse and cold!
Have you ever visited Alaska?

I have never been, but I'd love to go! Do you have any suggestions for a potential tourist?

Hi, it depends at what time of year someone is going to visit and if they like to snowboard or ski, fishing, hiking or just sight seeing?

It would probably be sight seeing in the summer. I can't afford to go right now, but Alaska is one of my bucket list trips. heart

Hi,
II think Seward is beautiful even when cloudy. It is a town with huge mountians. You should go there. I live in Anchorage but have lived in several colder places in Alaska.
The drive from Anchorage to Seward is so pretty too.
On the way to seward is Girwood outside of Anchorage and there is a really good diner between Anchorage and Girwood with good food. Sorry no name to give.
Homer spit is another place but very expensice like everything here is.
Go to Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center - Animal Sanctuary. It is pretty cool and outside of Anchorage but cost 25 dollars.
Denali National Park & Preserve is place I hope you get to visit.
I hope you get to come up here.

I am curious what are some of the other bucket list trips you would like to do?

I have several places I would love to go one day, and I write down suggestions of best places to go from people who've been there! Some places I'd want to see are the geysers at Yellowstone National Park, the ruins of Pompeii in Italy, and the giant redwood trees out in the Western USA. I'd also love to go back to Japan again someday to revisit Nagoya where I studied abroad, and cities I'd visited before like Kyoto and Tokyo. My six year old wants to see Mount Fuji one day. xd

I've never been. I am from the south where it is hot most of the year but for some reason not yet this year. Have you seen an actual moose? I am scared of wild animals.

It was an amazing study abroad! I still try to keep up with changes that happen in Japan just in case I get to travel there again.

Do y'all have a problem with big animals in Alaska? In the Carolinas we have Coyotes which have been known to eat pets and there's occasionally Black Bear sightings.

Different areas of Alaska have different problems with animals.
Here in the city you will see moose. And they are not friendly.
I have seen a black bear here a few blocks from my house. It had left a park and was crossing the street. I was so amazed to see the bear in front of me.
But we have bear sightings in the city every few years that I know of.
But yes up North black, brown bears are seen often
Further up North are the Polar Bears. I have never seen one.
But Lynx are a problem.

I would love to visit Japan. I had to learn Japanese when I was 18 for a job but not using it the most I can do now is count to 10.
