I don't know how active this guild is, but I'm gonna post here anyway!!
What are your thoughts on Lt. Barclay? love him? hate him? dont care him?
I personally think hes a great character with some...flaws. I simultaneously LOVE him as representation for some self esteem issues and social anxieties while HATING how creepy he is made out to be in his inital episode sad(
I choose to overlook his holodeck antics because of this speech:
this scene is so special!! I love this character very much, that being said ... tell me if you think otherwise!! i'd love to know

Lt Barclay was played by Dwight Schultz. Some of us like him because of how he played HM Murdock in the original "A-Team." As Barclay, he played a completely different character, and there's quite a bit to him.
I think Barclay's more likeable than a number of "perfect" characters. Further, they left something unresolved. At the end of "the Nth Degree", Barclay wasn't exactly returned as he was, there was still some kind of upgrade to his brain. I would have liked them to have explored that a bit when they returned the character. They had a few chances but used none of them.
