Ziel lounged on the warm sand, her gaze fixed on the gentle ebb and flow of the tide as it kissed the shore. The rhythmic sound of the waves soothed her, wrapping her in a cocoon of tranquillity that she hadn’t felt in a while. It was a rare moment of peace amidst the chaos of everyday life, and she relished every precious second of it. She was so glad to be back home in Matori and spend some time with her parents. She hadn’t settled anywhere long enough since she’d left home and now her body was telling her to slow down just a tiny bit.

The Hybrid was wrapped up in her thought of home when suddenly, a burst of energy shattered the serenity of the beach as a small child darted past her, kicking up a spray of sand in his wake. Ziel's relaxed demeanour faltered as the grains of sand pelted her and the person lounging a little ways beside her, causing her to sigh exasperatedly. She brushed the sand off her clothes with a resigned shake of her head, shooting a glance at the person next to her.

"Kids these days," she muttered to the other Hybrid, her tone a mixture of annoyance and amusement. She rolled her eyes, a small smile tugging at the corners of her lips despite herself.

Huang’we let out a soft sigh now that he had a quiet moment it gave him time to realize that it had been awhile since he last hit the beach for some sun and fun, there was lots going on with him and today was a good day to just relax and clear his head of muddled thoughts. He closed his eyes to listen to the sounds of the crashing waves around him. He nodded his head I agreement to her comment, but it wasn’t too long ago that he was that age and he smiled lightly at how rambunctious he use to be. “They are just being kids that’s all” he told her with an amused smile.

Ziel observed Huang'we with a small smile as he sighed, sensing that he needed some relaxation. She nodded in understanding as he mentioned the joy of simply enjoying the beach and the soothing sounds of the waves.

"They certainly are," she agreed, her tone warm and friendly. "Kids have a way of bringing energy and excitement wherever they go, don't they?" She chuckled softly, recalling her youthful days spent frolicking on the beach with her friends. What was that? Was she getting an itch for a child of her own? Ziel pushed the thought away.

"It's nice to see them enjoying themselves," she added, gesturing towards the group of children playing nearby. "Brings back memories of my childhood." Ziel's gaze drifted to the horizon, lost in nostalgic thoughts for a moment before returning to Huang'we with a friendly smile. "I'm Ziel, by the way. Enjoying the beach today?"

Huang’we nodded his head with a thoughtful look on his features “that they do, and everyone wonders how they have so much energy for someone so young” he said thinking about it. It was one of those questions that non-parents and parents had at least once or twice. He missed those days when he was young frolicking on the sandy beaches without a care in the world and just hanging out with family and friends. Thinking about it he was starting to feel nostalgic about it but on the bright side he had his younger sister so he could still enjoy the carefree visits to the beaches.

“I agree with you there it brings me back to my childhood as well.” He told her with a smile. “Nice to meet you Ziel, my name is Huang’we” he replied politely as he watched the waves crash against the shoreline and feeling the breeze.

"It's a pleasure, Huang'we," Ziel responded, her gaze drifting back to the waves that rolled in with rhythmic persistence. The name Huang'we settled in her mind, a name she decided she was pleased to make acquaintance with, especially in such a serene setting. "There's something about the ocean, isn't there? It reminds us of simpler times, yet it's so vast and unknowable. It's like it holds all our childhood dreams and fears in one place."

She tucked a strand of hair behind her ear, a gesture that momentarily directed her gaze downward, allowing her to collect her thoughts. "I used to imagine I could command the waves when I was younger," Ziel confessed with a chuckle, looking back at Huang'we. "Silly, I know, but on days like this, it feels like maybe it wasn't so silly after all. The ocean listens, in its own way."

Turning her attention fully back to Huang'we, Ziel felt the gentle pull of curiosity. "Do you come here often? To relive those carefree days, or perhaps to find a bit of peace?" Her tone was genuinely inquisitive, seeking not just to know more about Huang'we's connection to this place but also to share in the solace that the ocean provided.

Huang'we nodded his head in acknowledgement of her words "That it does, but it also holds the potential of the future unknown" he told her thoughtfully. That was the one thing he liked about the ocean it held so many different possibilities but also had the free-flowing waves that pushed and pulled the unknown to those who decided to take a visit to the shores.

He chuckled lightly "You had quite the imagination back then, and there is nothing wrong with that," he told her quickly in hopes not to offend her by what he had said. He tilted his head to the side a bit thinking about it "I suppose it's a combination of both, to relive and to have some peace from a very on the go lifestyle, we are all so rushed by the realities of our life that we don't take time to just step back and relax" he told her. But, of course, that was only his opinion it wasn't the same for everyone.

Ziel listened intently as Huang'we shared his thoughts on the ocean, her gaze drifting to the distant horizon where the waves met the sky. She smiled at his mention of her childhood imagination, feeling a warmth spread through her at the memory.

"Imagination has its own kind of magic, doesn't it?" she mused, her eyes sparkling with nostalgia. As Huang'we spoke of finding peace amidst the chaos of life, Ziel nodded in agreement.

"You're absolutely right," she said, her tone earnest. "In the hustle and bustle of everyday life, it's easy to get swept away by the currents of our responsibilities and obligations. But moments of quiet reflection, like our time here by the ocean, remind us to pause, to breathe, and to appreciate the beauty that surrounds us.” She paused briefly before looking back at Huang'we. “Do you travel a lot?”
