Ultear 1
He had come back to town once he saw that his crystals had changed he spend a good deal of his time wandering the wilds looking for ways to improve his magic and listening to whispers trying to detect signs of malcontent or fowl play. He would step in an rescue innocents if needed. After all what was the point of having magic of shadow when you didn't use it for anything interesting. Now however he was happy to see his family and ensure they were okay. The tree pollen had been jarring and he wanted to see if others had been affected. He had just walked near the village itself when he looked up. Plus his Dad had sent a letter that Ustasis was being bullies...and now he had proof. He had been close to the village, waiting and watching and now that he had chosen to enter..he found his younger brother up a tree. "Ustasis!" He looked around but could not see the bullies that had treed his little brother but he hissed anyway. Shadows built around his body and he sent them off in various directions. If he ever caught those brats they would be all regretty spaghetti.

Ultear 2
"Ussie? Where are they I will smite them!." How on earth was he going to get his twin down now. "Uh," he sent his shadows to go and help point out handholds. "If you can get a strong piece of fabric aournd the tree and hold onto either end you can shimmy your way down." Ohh when he found those boys and told his father there would be a great reckoning. His brother was too sweet and kind to put up any sort of fight and their continued maltreatment made Ultear see red. The rest of his family could kind of look after themselves but Ustasis was special. He had been tasked with helping his father to keep an eye on the kid. He didn't think he would have to be there every waking moment but that was what it was turning out to be until Ustasis was strong enough to get them to leave him be. (edited)

Ultear 3
He did in fact catch his brother and at the sight of the scratch he decided they would head home after he cleaned it with clean water. An injury even slight changed things. He would try to get the required information from his little bro and then he would tell Dad and they would ensure that Ustasis was allowed the childhood in Matori he deserved. It was that or they might move to the beast ranch where no one would dare tease his little brother for fear of the wrath of all who dwelled there. There were a ton of big names that he and Ustasis had grown up with. Ushiwa wouldn't tolerate punks bullying his cousin.

Ultear 4
“No it is not a bad thing you don’t know how to fight if you don’t want to, it is called being peaceful and minding your own business. After all there needs to be at least some people in our family who pursue other routes of making a living. What you need are good friends that help defend you. But I doubt we will find them here at the moment. Why were you up the tree?” Perhaps he should get his little brother a familiar to help protect him from these bullies and their incessant nonsense. He was so mad but his shadows had not turned up the culprits as they flitted back to his palms as he washed Ussie’s wounds.

Ultear 5
He inhaled sharply and it was a very good thing that he was tending to his brother because he was about to go berserk, which wasn’t something he had thought he was capable of. And yet the only thing saving those boys from his terrifying wrath and severe injury for this injustice was that he did not want to leave his brother alone to their machinations. “What are their names my brother?” His face had thunderclouds moving over it and around him it got darker like shadows blocking out the sun like a great angry filter. “That is so unfair of them to say that.”

Ultear 6
"Those brats again? How dare they pick on you, they should come after me or gods forbid Tahnee, she is so scary and yeah it would be best if Mom didn't know, Dad fine, but not Mom, her swords are always so sharp!" Mom was super scary anyway. "And there wouldn't be a fued how is that kid supposed to run that village if he is not taught proper behaviour now, if his parents spent any time with him at all they would see what a little turd he is.
"Oh where do you want to travel?" This they had in common.

Ultear 7
"Don't worry we will fix them so they leave you alone, not everyone in Matori would be like that. You could also get some cool familiars to discourage them as well. But if you have to move I understand though it breaks my heart and it would break Dad and Mom's heart too."
He didn't know what he would do without his sweet little brother he was such a constant. He would have to do something drastic about these bullies, Dad had to be pulled in.
"Yeah I have a clean cloth here," He wrapped it around his twin's arm. Shadows engulfed them both, they probably looked like a black hole from the outside. "You sure you don' want to learn shadow magic?"
