So Lilith is really gone, huh?

The soft surprise that sat on his face, the way it settled into a knowing sort of understanding, into faint lines of a frown; like finally having to acknowledge the massive hole in the room that someone'd had the time and energy to call out. It'd been fine to ignore it before! To toss a rug there and call everything good---

The ignorance had been blissful while it'd lasted.

He thought that Alkmene would've been the one to ask questions of, should've been the one to talk to above all else! But she'd been his sister--- there were parts of him that couldn't believe she'd left her brother behind, her family! Her only family insofar as he knew. How? When she'd been the one to bring the man into their fold, watched him get married, stayed by their sides before and beyond even that---just to up an disappear!?

"Yanno, Bestia?" and so many on his team were the best, it was true! Had singular skills beyond compare, that they wielded better than all the rest! And then there was Hestia--best girl--on fire for their pyre of a team and the man that sat burning atop it all in ways that made him question if his own devotion to Faustite had ******** competition! Because in his eyes she was perfect, head to toe, neat black gloves to perfectly polished shoes. She wore the fit of a Negaverse Senshi well enough that he was envious as often as proud! Her ceaseless ability to impress him with the simplest damn things-- like her n now?

"There was a point n time where we were worried about a mule problem on the team---" the word was off and he knew it, backtracked to redact the name of the animal that made no sense here. It was some sorta M-anima, wasn't it? Mouse, marmalade, moth-- "Ah, that is, a mole problem---Moles. Not like the cute beauty mark kinds either, but the, ah, the naked ones? With all the skin n the long teeth...." He chuckled, made a pantomime of the motions, with his hands an expression of sharp teeth, claws, the need to burrow incessantly! All the ways he didn't want to believe Lilith was someone like that, precious, perfect, Kelpie -- so ********' deadly on the field.

It's a godamned shame. A waste.

"The kind that'll sell you n your whole family out--for the ******** even knows why--" he was aware the issue of the 'Mole' had never officially been resolved, and he wondered now if it was Lilith all along? If this would cast scrutiny on Haru--and another ten thousand if's that followed along that same line. He wasn't sure if he had the right to be angry for it, over it, on their teammates behalf. On Faustites behalf! But as he looked away from all of Hestia's perfect ruffles, that sweeping hair never a hair out of place, he couldn't help but feel the rekindling of old embers betrayal--

"But ********, right? This is a hunt---"

Someone should've been angry. Their questions should've had answers!

Notes simply didn't cut it sometimes. Though, at least when it'd been Amsv? He'd had the courage to explain himself, to gloss over the misunderstanding, to have a valid enough why -- that Waru had walked away feeling far less scathingly slighted -- still on opposite sides, but far less hurt in ways that lingered. He wondered if Hina had given Haru the same courtesy? Waru had doubts, thick, congealed doubts. He was sure the girl they were looking for would have answers though! That once they got their hands on her they could wring them free--

"So, whatever you wanna know? Whatever you need to help you accomplish this? M'yours--kay? One free Albite at your beck n call! Nights, Days, weekends? Faustite doesn't even need to know I helped---" aiming the brightest grin in Hestias direction, a spotlight for her form, whatever good ultimately came of this? Goodness knew she deserved all of the praise and recognition for it.
