Tonight seemed like a night of curiosities.
Mu Arae had decided that she would travel to a junkyard, see if she could find some youma to ******** with, which she promptly dusted. It was all so… boreing. As much as she tries to be good, sometimes she really just wanted to rip some one to pieces. Granted, she knew this wasn't very normal behavior for an order senshi, but then again she’e heard tales of Maia’s brutality straight from the eternal senshi herself. So maybe it was okay that she was blood thirsty…Lord knows some of them had to be in order to win this war. Most of the order shes seen are just pushovers or they were too afraid to power up and do something. The senshi sat atop of one of the large towers of metal, kicking her feet idly.
Maybe she would leave in a little bit if something exciting didn't come along.

(Maybe this takes place sometime innn–Julyish? Early August? Long enough after for Cryo to have posted something to the database and given Albite an *inkling* of an idea that there are strong Senshi still roaming out there.)(Yes~)
It’d been a hot minute since he’d gone on an actual *patrol* – if he could even call it that anymore – being Eternal and thoroughly wedded ten times over and days to sunday to an actual sovereign, princess killer, the whole ten titles of the like which he played with endlessly! To have the blooming option of *more* at his fingertips and between his teeth and dancing all glamoured up around his fingers in fiery little circlets! Maybe that was why he was out to begin with? Taking his own space and his own time, separate and apart physically, glowing with the knowledge of being part of a greater, warmer whole. A family. That was only ever a single tug away—
The world was good and life was as easy as it could be if only for the moment! The stifling night air that had only just begun to cool made moving through it at speed that much more of a thrill! He remembered playing here with Niki when she wore far more black and pink brocade – made him remember a rave a few years back – full swing in the hollowed out warehouse down towards the abandoned construction materials.
Nostalgia drove him in much the same way getting his energy out did-
And then there was a sound–
The distant screech of some feral youma being snuffed, the sense of an aura. The smell of magic if magic could ever be said to have such a thing! If it could be said to be alive, to have a feel, a texture, a taste to its ephemeral and incomprehensible to him nature. He followed it, the blood red flare of an aura and its lazy idling nature. Wandered over abandoned cinder blocks, a twisted pile of rebar – shouted an echo of his own oly-oxy-freeing call into the hollow of a cracked down the center city water pipe.
Thought he heard an answering sound – of fleeing rats – of—-

And something exciting did indeed come along!
Cept she didn't think this was an aura she could ******** with given the fact that it was a chaos eternal signature she was pretty sure was coming around the corner. Mu sat there for a moment, debating on whether she wanted to be discovered [she was sure they could feel her signature by now], or if she wanted to take off and live to fight another day. Curiosity won her over and she decided to stay, one eyebrow raised when she saw a male come around the corner, covered in markings. Huh…These chaos really did know how to look their part didn't they? But then again… She looked down at her own outfit with a sigh. One cannot be the senshi of brutality without looking brutal right? This meant that sometimes she was mistaken for the opposite side a couple of times [given the fact that her attitude did not help matters, she could understand]. The order senshi leaned forward resting her elbow on her thigh as she crossed one leg over the other, chin laying on her hand.
“Lost?”
Maybe he would see her and take off. Granted she didn't know how well she would do against an Eternal in battle, she wasn't keen to find out, in fact if he tried anything funny…She would use the height to her advantage and make a break for it. Call her crazy but this eternal did not seem like the type she wanted to play ******** around and find out with.

Albite blinked, beamed as he rounded the corner, looked equal parts hyped as he did happy to have found the source of aura with such casual ease. She looked bored beyond belief — on the verge of dying from it even — and he aimed to cure what ailed her as he opened his mouth.
“Polo!”
As if that were the correct response to her question; for all that he couldn’t discern if he knew her or not. Felt the ‘not’ strongly because he was damned sure he’d remember someone who looked like the meanest oasis in all of the desert he could’ve ever stumbled across.
Which meant she was exactly his type of friend-foe— even with how absolutely dismissive her body language read.
Course, his inability to place a name while admiring her distressed attire and fishnet flair made him wonder equally hard if he’d somehow left a game of hide n seek to run on too long — known her before, or in a past life, or from a club, and had forgotten her entirely — as ******** embarrassing as that would’ve been to do. So as she sat and stayed he stood and ogled. Deciding with a nod all to himself that the Senshi before him must have been the lost one and low and behold he’d certainly found her!
So no, no one was lost. Not anymore. Least of all him!
“Unless we’re not playing games? Or, like, we’re playing a different kinda game? Though we should probably start with — yanno — names — if we’re gonna get right into it. Insteadah reaaally vague questions….M’Albite by the way, of Retribution….s’nice to meet you—” all casual swagger muddied with a pause that read for all the world ‘and you are?’
His attempt at playing it cool betrayed by the way he fidgeted on his heels, high energy and unable to keep a tamp on it now that he’d broken off from being a body in quick-motion to a body in commotion. Stillness was his enemy — and the Senshi before him was too interestingly stunning to be still for.

Okay?
Mu still did not move from her position, looking at the corrupt with confusion. Names? Introductions? This one was weirder than Cryo and that was saying something. “Sure…Mu Arae of Brutality.” Just what was the angle here? At least with Cryo she knew he was going to give her some sort of monologue and she could prepare to punch him in the face before he went on any further. This one however… Albite, didn't seem like the type to monologue, but also looked like he couldn't be still to save his life. “Soooo you know my name, I know yours….You can leave now right?” Or she could take her leave, either way one of them had to go.

“But where would the fun be in that?” he offered thoughtfully as he mulled her entire being over. Mu of Brutality, the name dug around in his skull like a hooked ear worm that wouldn't come loose. It sounded so damn familiar! Tip of his tongue types of familiar—
And the harder he tries to tug on the memory the faster it worms away — ******** it — it’d come to him eventually! He knew it would, probably even faster if he let it alone for awhile and focused instead on the fact that Mrs. Mu, for being so Brutal, seemed to be playing more the role of statue than anything else.
It set his smile to sinking, suddenly dismayed, but hardly deterred!!
“C’mon — you’re not gonna tell me you got henshined to the nines just to go out n loiter in—-“ his eyes drifting to their surroundings, a sigh heaved from his lips, he spread his arms wide as if to say ‘look’ at all the lovely junkyard playground potential!! At where they were and how no one just hung places like this save people like them for who knew what reasons! Looking back to her more pointedly, with a hopeful spark in his eyes.
“The whole world at your fingertips, and you’re here, and I’m here— and if that s**t ain’t some fated, two ships passing in the night kinda cosmic happenings then I don’t know what is!” there were reasons for the seasons and so there must have been a reason for this! Even if it was just to listen to her tell him to go ******** himself far less politely than she already was.
“It’s weird though, yeah? This? Maybe you ain’t in the mood for games — or a spar — or meeting new people. S’rude of me to interrupt without asking whatcher out for—“ cordial as could be with patience rolling off his tone in waves, as still as he wasn’t, as still as she was, he remained. Fidgety but firm and thrumming with a newfound need to know something new about this *Mu* —
Senshi names weren’t bullshit afterall. There was no way she was as uninteresting as she was trying to play herself off as being!

Okay so all that was one big run on sentence and she could barely understand it all.
Apparently he wanted something from her? Like what? A hug or something?!
“Look, I'm not going to spar with an eternal…Been there done that, and you're chaos, so pardon me if I'm not really trying to be all buddy buddy here.” Besides if she used her power on this dude she was as good as dead. If that other big Senshi taught her anything, it was to use her powers wisely. Dude was lucky she didn't meet him with her fist first. Since it didn't look like he was going to try and hurt her, Mu lept from her spot and approached him with caution. “Well you have my attention so to speak.” She gave him a critical once over, “Try anything and I wont hesitate to beat the s**t out of you. Eternal or not.” Did she want to try and kick his a**? No. But if she had to then she would.

Funnily enough? If she’d asked him, he would’ve taken the hug as a toll for safe, undisturbed passage. Instead he stood hugless, unentertained, clucking his tongue at her approach.
He was tempted to ask her to define what ‘anything’ meant where she was concerned — to give it parameters, boundaries, a visual space he could picture in his mind's eye! Opened his mouth, closed it, hummed low and slow while thinking things over.
Because her answer wasn't enough to satiate, let alone satisfy his curiosity.
Why go out at all if not to have a good time! Why hang out in a junkyard, if not to party post-apocalyptic scenery style!! Why be the Senshi of Brutality? If you weren’t committing fatalities!! But it was the wings holding them all back — his rank and her knowledge of it — it almost had him pouting, thwarted from what could’ve been an amazing spar.
“I appreciate your attention, but? I never really find myself lacking for *that*—“ tried for teasing tones and honesty for how he normally ate up attention like he breathed air, always demanding it of others the same way the earth did sun and water to thrive, and normally he’d be flattered for having it at all! Just not tonight, for all that he’d sought her out and not the other way around. He wanted more than just side eyes, passing glances, and flippant remarks.
“And seriously, if we’re not gonna be friends and we’re not gonna fight? Then what are we gonna do about me meeting you n *not* ganking your gorgeous soul—-“ and he did let his gaze drift down to where her collar lay, to where he could imagine the pulse of a starseed within her chest. Let his eyes linger, before dragging them back up to her face.
“Y’gotta give me something Mu, since I’m supposedly the ‘bad guy’ here. Just a whirlwind of Chaos n all that comes with it—-wouldn’t want me getting bored enough that I decide we should play at something for optics sake." The sarcasm fell easy from his tongue, edged with a hint of threat, the possibility of promise. For all that he could stand idle and find himself amused he couldn’t do it for too too long. Couldn’t simply bow out once he’d come up on her. “Something other than a knock down drag out brawl—though I bet you’re ******** fun to fight.”
Maybe if he gave her an out? A chance to run and him to chase and for her to be faster— A chance to chat in such a way he could say he had every reason in the world to not try his hand at more n being friendly for five whole minutes more!

Okay she didn't like the way he said any of that.
One delicate eyebrow raised, Mu backed up slightly and positioned herself to be more defensive. She could run, but that has happened before and it never ended well for her. “Don't have anything to give you and no you're not taking my starseed. So…That leaves one choice I guess.” She cracked her knuckles and readied up, if the weirdo thought she would be fun to fight then why not? If things get too dicey then she could always take off. If there was one thing being so damned short and light was good for, it was escaping bigger opponents. It almost made her miss beating on Cryo for a second there, at least she didn't have to be cautious since they were the same rank.
If she ever met that ghost foggy b***h that stabbed her in the leg with <******** sissors then she could safely tell her shes at least fought an eternal and made it out alive. She wasn't crazy enough to fight a general or general king, but this is close enough. Could be time to experiment again and see if she could test her powers on him and safely keep her distance while it worked. Maia wouldn't let her test it on her and Shang was not a fan period so what else would she do? Lord knows Palmrya and Hali really didn't need to be test subjects. They were already dangerous enough at first stage and terrible combined together. She wouldn't charge, but she could prepare, waiting to see what the eternal’s next move would be.

He huffed a bemused noise, cause there was so much she could give! Her time, her energy, a decent workout paired with any kind of conversational topic she liked! The space was ideal and the timing just right! As he watched her square up with a critical eye; pull herself back into a defensive line. He realized maybe he was the one who was more into it this time; running restless and flipping rocks that would yield no more a piece of prey than they would a momentary entertainment. Anything he wanted from *her*, even the most casual bit of give? He realized he’d have to work for it—
This wasn't Cybele who would kill on site or Pendour who would say a thousand meaningful words with only three. She was a stranger and even if something about her screamed *familiar* in a way he couldn’t quite place? He had absolutely walked up on her having a normal a** night and been nothing but a disrespectful s**t of a disruption.
She doesn’t know me, or trust me, and maybe it’s an off night and she doesn’t wanna play? But ******** it, I can fix that!
“I’d give it back! Probably—it’s really a ******** shame us Senshi only get to have so much fun when it comes to things like that, right? Like— I can’t just up n cross you over into the underdark with a snap of my fingers…” a longing for what wasn’t, he couldn’t just pluck fresh Senshi outta the ground, paint em black n call it a done deal. Would always need assistance to drag down into corruption what was made for the stars.
“I wouldn’t.” and he was sincere as he said it, as much as she almost already looked the part of a proper corrupt? He’d seen enough first hand to know that people always vibed better with choices, and in their absence, there was always some stony resistance. An under the skin itch to turn and follow who or whatever back where they came from. He’d seen it too many times to ******** with it now – ever – unless ordered maybe?
Least of all with this Mu of stern faces n
“So! Terms? First blood – first to yield - to the death? Seriously, for someone decked in skulls, lace, n not much else you’re kinda…” all attention, all eyes and the barest bit of squint as he tried to place how she felt different from the others. “You’re an adult.” the best word he could come up with in the of something that sounded like ‘mature’; cautious and thinking and sizing him up— “You almost remind me of Gany. Sept’ I know she’d go for the throat on sight–but that’s princess power for ya, yeah?”

What?! Terms? Why couldn't they just fight?!
“Uhhhh…Yes, yes I am an adult. Thank you for noticing?” The senshi tilted her head at the mentioning of princess Ganymede, only having heard of her in passing as well as the many things that she did to make her a certified badass in her eyes. She's never had the fortune of meeting the princess in person though…Or any of the “Royals'' really. It was strange to hear about people so epic and amazing but to never see a sign or hair of them. “I'll take your word for it.” she was trying to play this on the safe side but it turns out that wouldn't be a possibility and she was quickly growing tired of all this talking. WHY did the negaverse want to talk so much?! Without waiting much longer, she took off towards the eternal with every intention to slam her foot into his stomach.
She wouldn't use her powers yet if at all on this one. Too unpredictable. But that didn't mean she couldn't try her hand at kicking his a**, if only so he would shut up. Here’s to hoping her kickboxing will do her some solids here.

If she thought he’d move though? That something so pretty as an extended heel attached to a diamond calf and a foot aimed for his core would move him? Dodging had never been one of his strengths. Whether he won or not– None of it ever mattered so much as the experience he took away from each so sweet it left him bloody and bruised encounter.
He felt the blow take his air, the way his heels skid back over the rusted over, rickety surface they stood on. Felt his magic howl for her, twists of inky steel swathed in a velvet embrace that reached for her even as he reached for that mean-a** leg she’d thrown at him. Such viciously curved heel points–
As if he was about to let an affront like that go? As if he needed the air a breath would get him to run on, his head was full of hit, his soul was full of it! Oil spills of breathless words eeking out around a hungry smile. Begging her to do one more trick, to throw another kick– For anything! Easy as he was? He’d take anything, like he took every new, exciting lesson to body as much as he took it to heart.
“And I have rules for myself, yanno! What if you were secretly someone's granny! Or ********, a baby in disguise!? I cannot live having punched a baby–could you imagine!?”
Super Sailor Scout Attack: Choking Retribution!
Albites tattoos appear to come alive, slithering off his harm like ethereal magical ribbons. The tattoo ribbons wrap around his intended opponent (pick a body part) and tie the two together for a duration of 20 seconds. The bindings slowly begin to tighten on said opponent, squeezing a bit like a boa constrictor would. Neither is able to escape the other until the magic is ended, or the weak ribbons are severed. He can now use the attack twice in battle, but can still only focus on one target at a time.
Effect: Instantaneous

If she thought he’d move though? That something so pretty as an extended heel attached to a diamond calf and a foot aimed for his core would move him? Dodging had never been one of his strengths. She just kicked him in the gut and yet he was still talking. Mu didn't expect for him to be completely obliterated but he could've at least taken things a bit more seriously. Either way, she was not expecting her opponent to use his powers on her (which why would she even think that is beyond her), trying to pull away even as the creepy tattoo ribbons started to slither up her leg like a damned snake. They already started tightening, and Mu had a thought back to when she fought Cryo, him calling her the senshi of bondage really should've applied to his buddy.
"I am far too young to be a granny." She practically scoffed at the baby comment because surely the idiot had at least a braincell to know what a baby actually is. Unless he was talking about a chibi which understandable but she did not even give off the chibi signature. The small senshi yanked her leg back, almost stumbling over but recovering quick enough to try and kick her other leg upwards to hit him in the chin.
If he wanted to keep talking while she beat his a** then she guessed she could allow it. It's not like it was distracting her very much given the fact that much of what he said she couldn't really translate.

“Then prove it—“ the taunt stifled briefly with the way his teeth clipped his tongue hard enough to crack together under the burning heat her bruising heel, the way he had to step *back*, or lose his chin to her entirely. The arc of pain shut his mouth— left him tasting rich copper and smelling iron— while waking the rest of him right the ******** up! He stole those seconds and dragged on the magical line that tethered him to her other leg, ripped at the constricting tether till it severed itself–
He hoped it left bruises someone would see – hoped she had any kind of a someone worth showing them off to like all Senshi should have! Cause otherwise what was the point? Of being a Senshi, of having magic, of running around and lounging in the moonlight of a desolate junkyard at a**-end-oclock at night! Killing time and inviting an audience all at once.
Because she had to have been, right? Needing some fun injected into the doldrum, humorless, ho-hum of the evening. That action flavored spice of life!! Needing some noise, maybe? Noise which he was ready, steady, eager to supply! With a thought his magic fled his skin once more; happy, hungry, leashless hound.
He stepped back, kicked back –
Felt the bind that lived in his blood follow the line of the motion until it’d tethered itself on something far less flesh, bone, human soft, and anchor on something far more steel, iron, wire mix. Felt the heap beneath his boots shift and give as he stepped sideways towards the edge of the precarious ledge of sheetmetal, rusted beams, and city sewer pipe they’d found themselves perched upon.
He laughed for the thrill of it. The feel of something coming loose. The threat of a set of teatnus shots! He wondered if Mu was as fast on her feet as she was flexible enough to kick him in the ******** face. Maybe? She was fun enough he hoped she would be!
(Second verse same as the first, one last time!)

If there was one thing she didn't like, it's losing her footing. Meant that she would leave an open angle for her opponent to take advantage of. When Albite basically ripped his bindings from her leg, the smaller senshi stumbled, almost falling back onto her behind in pain. It was that move in particular that caused her jaw to tick in annoyance. She would have to watch out for that move if she wanted to make it out of this alive. A darker part of her was practically vibrating at the sheer thrill of it all. Who would've thought she'd be fighting a damned corrupt eternal? Certainly not her. But God damn did it make her want to take this kind of risk all the time. However she needed to be responsible. Not only was she a mother now but she had to be mindful of her husband as well. There was no way in hell that she would ever leave Cass to raise their boys alone, she wouldn't dare think about devastating the poor man like that.
Instead, she would start to form a plan.
Once she saw what the crazy man was trying to do, Mu decided it was time to make her exit, adrenaline rush be damned at this point. It was also starting to give her flashbacks….Unwanted ones that dealt with her being impaled on rebar. Nope, she was not about to go through that again! Mu Arae dashed forward again, giving the impression that she was trying to aim for a mean right hook, only to switch to her leg with the intention of hitting him very below the belt. She didn't fight far and never planned to, figuring this one was worthy of what she would now call the “Cryo” treatment. If she had her way she would copyright the s**t too.

His eyes went wide–
A quickflash of rage flaring over ruddy, auburn windows into his surprised as ******** soul!
Before he was gone–
Gone with his magic and gone with his body, and gone the ******** outta dodge! Teleporting far, far away from that errant switch-up of a heel aimed too far south for his comfort. SO far south, in fact, that the mere threat of air breezing fabric had him g o i n g—
He’d never abandoned a fight so quickly in his short life. Not even the ones he knew he’d lose. In the distance he could hear an echo of the reverb from s**t going down, junk collapsing in piles where it’d inevitably rust into new amusing forms. A ******** shame that he couldn’tve stayed to see it! But the blow she’d aimed was far too low for him to risk suffering it, not like that! His abs were slabs for beating on, his chin could take a kick! BUT HIS —-
“Nope! Not ******** doin it, m’out, m’gone-–m’late for s**t actually….”
Shudder worthy levels of hell to the no, if she was gonna be brutal like that? He was gonna save his own hide and take the heavy handed hint to play nice n give her some space! He’d find s**t to be late for, give himself that particular excuse as he checked himself over and thanked every lucky star that his third best trait remained un-mauled. Teleport his way closer to a running point that’d let him get back home, eventually, after he’d run all the fresh new adrenalin off.

Well, that was surprising.
Mu blinked rapidly a couple of times when her opponent teleported away from her with the excuse that he was late for something…What? The smaller senshi, still in shock, leaped away in the opposite direction, avoiding the metal hell that was on the ground. This was one battle she would have to reflect on AND talk to Maia about because that was a weird experience. At least she learned one thing in regards to the green and tattooed corrupt:
Threatening his junk was a surefire way to get him to disappear.
While she was on her way back home, she couldn't help but think that poor little Cryo actually took a hit to the nuts and was a champ about it unlike the senshi she just recently faced.
