Stribor hummed to himself a little as he went on patrol again, ears perky, and general mood perky as well. A warmer day had finally come along, and though it was still winter, and there was still snow on the ground, Stribor found himself in quite high spirits. The warmer things got, the better, after all. At least, in his opinion. He was really quite sick of the cold.

When he sensed a fellow White Moon aura, he decided to head over to them—one never could be too careful, after all, and two people on patrol was better than one! He hadn't had much cause to fight anyone just yet, but he knew that danger lurked without needing to be told. He had fought in his own civil war, after all.

Stribor's already bright grin got even brighter when he noticed that the senshi was one not born of Earth—now this was exciting. As far as knowing nonhuman senshi went, he only knew Helene, from living with him and Kaifeng, and Procyon from a similar random run-in. Meeting even more would probably always give his heart a little lift like this. Fellow beings that had been pulled from a time beyond, in a way. Similar to Procyon, this senshi set off a little recognition bell in his head, though he couldn't quite place from where. Sometimes, it felt like he was still shaking off the cobwebs of that thousand year sleep. Which was really annoying, when he wanted to talk to someone he felt as though he should know as if he actually did remember them. It would be a nice change of a quickly worrying pace.

"Hello," he greeted enthusiastically, half dipping his left ear in greeting. "Always nice to meet more of us, eh? I'm Stribor."

As soon as Daedalus introduced himself, Stribor snapped his fingers together, ear lifting back to perked position. "I knew I'd recognized your face from somewhere! Our banned list," he said with a hearty laugh. He reached out and shook Daedalus' hand warmly, unable to stop grinning.

"No bygones to bygone," he assured Daedalus. "Trust me. I figure most of the people on that list, especially for something like rabble-rousing, were on it because the government didn't want me to learn how to fight their crimes and be cool. Unfortunately for them, they were so worried about outside influences, they forgot to keep oppressing their own people. I ended up becoming a big rabble-rouser myself in the end. Not that it mattered very shortly afterwards, but, eh. It's very lovely to meet you, Ser Daedalus."

"Some time and convincing," Stribor agreed with a small laugh. The question, though, had his ears folding back behind his head, and he sighed softly, rubbing his arm.

"Well... I suppose I would say I was one of the lucky ones. I slept. I woke up to find our war over, at least, hah. It wasn't... I mean... You know how it was, I'm sure. I can't imagine having lived through it all. It was... everything was..." He sighed again. "Destroyed. Dead. Desolate. Take your pick."

Stribor nodded—it didn't make it any less horrifying, no, to consider a different horror. But Daedalus was right.

A small smile slipped over his face, ears slowly rising back to normal. "Yeah. New world... new future."

And new friends, too.
