Beatrix finished up cleaning out the wallet of her latest mark, they’d had over a grand in there and she’d scalped their concert tickets while she was at it. Their starseed was already away in her subspace as she felt a prickle of order closing in. She hated being interrupted, especially by order. At least the last time had ended with her getting one of them to join up, though she needed to follow up on that and talk with Hessonite.
They were close, but not close enough yet so she knelt down over the civilian and acted like she was draining them. They couldn’t tell he’d already been starseeded, they were still breathing so she could play it off and let them get close like the other senshi had. If she needed to do it again, she’d throw the body at them and come out swinging.

Mu frowned, sensing something might be off, but instead she moved closer with caution. Usually she would just go right in for the kill but for a corrupt on her level to ignore the fact that there was an order signature literally behind them…Yeah, something just wasn't adding up. But that just meant she would need to keep her wits about her, think of this like training with Maia…The thought made her shudder, yeah she was not about to get her a** beat when her best friend was literally the one that taught her how to be all crazy. Closer she crept, staying at least an arms length away just in case.
“You gonna keep ignoring me or are we going to get started on this a** beating I'm about to deliver to you?”
With her stupid bird’s nest hair. Who the ******** allowed something like that to happen?

Super Sailor Scout Attack: Beatrix's Embrace
A dark fog radiates out from Beatrix, a shadowy figure appears behind the enemy and whispers something before wrapping them in its cold body. They can clearly see the armor and fact that the figure is headless. It disappears with a laugh as the magic fades. Radius is 8 feet. Effect and illusion lasts for 25 seconds and can be used twice per battle.

Bingo, she smiled to herself as they got in close enough. Just enough that she could send her creature out, she wanted to toy with them a bit maybe. It would be fun and she could see about trying to drag them off afterwards and get another gold star for bringing someone in. “Did you hear that, she wants to fight us?” Speaking as the fog rolled out, she stood up as that ancient whispered warning called out. They liked to toy with the senshi too, saying something only they knew even if she could never hear the whispered secrets.
“How many have you killed to be so confident?” Laughing as she moved forward as her creature finished materializing. Her whole subspace was full of starseeds, enough to fill her quota for months if not half the year by now. Each little light snuffed out and body tossed into dumpsters across the city. If she needed a boost to fight them she’d eat one or two and let things really get fun. It was as simple as taking a shot at the bar now and she looked for any excuse to have another round.

Ah…there they go.
Mu wasn't phased in the slightest, raising an eyebrow as her opponent summoned up a creature, readying herself. She figured she was talking to the damned thing and it annoyed her ever so slightly. “I'm sure the creepy factor has worked on some other people but it's starting to get reeeeealllllyyyyy annoying.” She cracked her knuckles, giving the crazy senshi a deadpan look full of boredom. How many has she killed? That caused the senshi to pause for just a second to think. Officers were a dime a dozen to her really. “Plenty of your officers…You senshi though, oh you're slippery.” She has yet to kill a corrupted yet but wasn't opposed to this one becoming her first. She wasn't out collecting starseeds, just punching, stabbing, or outright kicking them to death. The world would be all the better without the Negaverse causing trouble, making it hard for anyone to sleep or walk out at night for fear of disappearing because they stepped in front of the wrong alley.
Or being beaten to death in the park, energy drained from you…No one to help or hear your weak cries.
It was something that made her blood boil.
Mu slowly crept closer, unafraid.
She didn't know what this thing’s creature did but she would figure it out soon enough…Then unleash hell by touching it. A risk, yeah she knew, but she also wanted to see that the creature would do. It's not like it would be able to tell the difference between her and it's owner once she unleashed her power on it.
—----
Laughing a bit she watched as her creature wrapped around them, they weren’t creepy to her. “Makes sense though, some of them don’t even know how to take starseeds.” Maybe she took enough to cover for a bunch of them but the point was still there. She’d do what she could to get them to help wipe out all these troublesome and trash men in the city. The fog made it hard to tell the distance but she could hear the cracking of knuckles so she pulled her kitchen shears out of her subspace. Just in case, it was good to have a back up even if they weren’t terribly strong like a General’s weapon.
“But have you walked away from facing a royal in one piece?” Because she had, even if it had almost given her a concussion in the process. Something was brewing though as she felt a change in the air, one she didn’t like so she stepped through the armored shade and swung out with the scissors at about where she figured their face would be. Pulling out a starseed with her other hand, she popped the thing into her mouth and crunched down on it. That extra boost running through her like electricity, it was a feeling she really had gotten used to as she smiled and kept at the ready to move and swing the scissors at the senshi when she could.

”Cruel Violence”
Sailor Scout: In this beginning attack, Mu Arae has to get close enough to her opponent to touch them. When contact is made, a rage overcomes the target, clouding their mind with violent and aggressive thoughts. In this state, they cannot discern friend from foe. The target will not take risk into consideration as they only desire violent action. This attack will only last about 30 seconds, and can be used three times a fight.
No, she hasnt had the honor of facing a Royal, but then again, she didn't go out looking for one either. She might be full of bloodlust but that didn't mean she had an actual deathwish. The senshi didn't even bother to answer the question, tensing when she felt the creature make contact with her. The instant that happened, she reached out grabbing and twisting the arm that held the scissors, squeezing with all her might even as the chill was forced down her spine from the embrace. With a painful growl, she muttered the name of her attack, the hand that grabbed the arm turned blood red.
This was a risk since the b***h was bat s**t anyway, but if she was going to use her powers then so would she. As long as she remained out of sight, she could take advantage, strike while they were raging. If she dropped the scissors, even better. Mu then raised her foot to slam where she thought the senshis mid section would be, heel pointed first.
----
Beatrix pulled back through the armor, dropping the scissors from one hand into her other as she tried to twist her arm free, feeling the creak over her bones in their grasp. Another flood of electricity went through her, a bright red rage that twisted in with that feeling from the starseed. It felt good, really good as she burst into even more laughter and twisted her wrist, breaking it to get free from them. Dismissing the scissors and popping another starseed in her mouth, it crunched and she felt her eyes rolling back as the bones set just enough for her to deal with it later. More. More. More. More. She wanted more of it as she pulled her scissors back out and stabbed down at the senshi’s leg as it collided with her creature.
She wanted their starseed next, teleporting behind them to reach through their back as she stabbed at them with the scissors. Her wrist was still messed up but it didnt matter, she could still touch the starseed inside enough to make it hurt. Fingers listening just enough as she zoned in on what she wanted, what she needed to tear from their chest.

Ah so dexterity was the game here.
Mu knew she was taking a risk using her powers, but at least she knew what it would do to the senshi before her. She watched passively as the thing crunched on a starseed. She's heard of that before, corrupts eating starseeds, hell even some officers did it…. Anything for power she supposed. The snapping of the wrist caused her to wince internally though. It was a good thing she was a nurse otherwise she might be puking her guts out right then and there. The smaller senshi gritted her teeth in pain when the scissors hit her in the thigh, then screamed out in frustration when it was pulled out. So long as there were no major arteries hit, she would not worry about it at all, Xander would help her with it once she was safe.
And then there was a hand in her
Mu let out a guttural scream at the feeling of it, hazel eyes narrowing down to slits. Nope, she was NOT about to die today, not now and especially not to this crazy a** b***h. With some difficulty, she pulled herself forward, just as she felt fingertips on her starseed. Nope, she was going to find a way to hurt this b***h in any way imaginable. She just needed a good opening, then her teeth were about to be around that thing’s jugular.
-----
They wanted to move forward, fine then. Pulling her arm back, she rushed forward and threw her shoulder into them to try getting them to fall to the ground as the fog and her creature melted away. Had to keep close, get her hand back in there and grab what she wanted. She’d never had one from a senshi before, that little morbid curiosity of what it might taste like peeking through the haze as that hunger for it fought against the rage.
—-------
Mu kicked herself into gear, using the adrenaline pumping through her to burst forward, turning to face her attacker while she hopped back every time she got close. That shoulder check was barely avoided and she needed to try harder. Keeping that thing at bay was her best bet, make the monster think she was trying to run away…She was hunched over, leg dripping, breathing heavily. The senshi wanted to appear like a wounded animal, like prey. Her powers should be ending soon, then she could figure out how to get to that thing’s neck.

Sailor Scout Attack: Beatrix's Grasp

She almost fell when her shoulder missed them, sending her stumbling a bit before turning back to see them looking a bit worse for wear. “********.” They were trying to leave, trying to get away. That starseed that she needed was trying to make a break for it and she just couldn’t let that happen. Everything felt too much as she lunged forward, swiping at their face with her nails as she tried to grab at their hair to get them from running. Had to stop them. Stop them. Whatever she could do to get them closer, that hunger for what laid in their chest. Then an idea floated to the surface and she willed out her fog as she pressed forward and that feeling started to slip away. It felt like a vacuum, that hunger and rage ebbing away. It made her stop almost, a small moment where she had clear thoughts before she kept on with what she wanted. That pain in her half broken wrist sucked though, making things harder but she couldn’t remember how many starseeds she had eaten tonight, they had hazed together with that other feeling.
—--------
Mu wasn't trying to run, but once she thought she was far away, she stopped. The fog radiating from the senshi was something she had to decide to take a risk on. She knew the effects, but that would put her close enough for that b***h to put her hand in her chest again….Should she do it? Mu decided that she wanted to get the b***h back somehow, so she stepped forward into the fog, allowing the figure to grab her hissing at the chill that went through her body. As the other senshi dashed forward, Mu grabbed her wrist, hissing in pain still, “Oh no you don't you b***h.” She started squeezing, pulling the senshi forward so she could knee her in the gut with all the force she had. Got damn this thing’s power was pretty strong…Her teeth were almost chattering.
—--------
It hurt, but at least it wasn’t the wrist that was still half broken. Digging her heels in, she tried fighting against them pulling her. It didn’t really work out how she’d hoped though and then she felt a knee in her stomach. She thought about it, hard, for a moment, that idea that she could have just one more starseed to fix the rest up and get back into the game but everything was too much and it took a lot for her not to heave with that hit. They hadn’t let her go yet either so she tried again with her messed up hand, trying for their starseed while half bent over in front of them.
She hated these order senshi, hated hated hated hated them so very much. It would be easier if they all dropped dead, even if she was sure that would put her out of a job in the grand scheme of things but it wasnt her job to think on it much, just to do what she needed to. Just had to keep fighting through the haze that filled her head until she got what she needed from them.
—---------------------------
Okay so she had to try harder.
Mu was almost tempted to call it quits but she'd be damned if this crazed senshi followed her all the way home to endanger her family. The thought almost made her see red, and she gritted her teeth, doubling down on the strength she used for the wrist she was currently holding. As much as she didn't want to do this, Mu reared her head back and slammed it into the other senshi as hard as she could, releasing her hold and stumbling back. Ugh god she was going to have a ******** migraine when she got home. But seeing an opportunity, the senshi kept her eyes on her opponent, quickly backing away before turning around to take off as quickly as she could in a direction opposite where her home would be just in case the corrupt tried to follow her. At least she knew that she needed to improve on her fighting skills and perhaps take note that corrupts can and will eat starseeds for a boost.
Gross creatures that they are.
————————————
Something happened when that hit came, between the stars she saw new wisps of fog started swirling around. But she hadn’t used her magic, had she? Everything was so wobbly as Beatrix stumbled and tried to blink away the stars. She hadn’t seen where they went but she could still feel their aura but as the stars faded she was more focused on what she was looking at now instead of that b***h that got away.
The fog had turned into armor, that same armor her creature wore. Moving her hands in front of her face, she felt a bit slower but the spectral armor moved with her. It was enough of a pause in things for it to all settle in though, that pain that was pretty much all over now. Turning away, she teleported towards her crappy apartment and made the last block home walking after she powered down. She could have taken another starseed to heal her wrist but it was too much, everything felt too much and she just crashed on her mattress on the floor.
