Photography: When Raquelle was young her parents gave her an old fashioned camera that still used film cartridges to capture images rather than one of those newfangled digital cameras that take a lot of the work out of getting that perfect shot. Since then Raquelle has been using the older models of cameras for the work that she does. It may seem odd, but Raquelle finds that cameras that need film, are a truer testament to the images that are captured. There's no need to hide imperfections in the picture by way of using filters or any digital cover-up options.
Taking this hobby a step further has resulted in Raquelle turning a rented storage unit into an impromptu dark room in which she's practicing the art of developing her own photos. There are more failures than successes, but each attempt is a learning curve.
Animal Fostering: Raquelle's got a big heart. It might be often shrouded by her stubbornness but it's there. It really shines through when she's looking after animals that need a temporary home before moving on to find their furever family. She'll take on all roles needed in order to help one of her fosters succeed once they leave her. There are failures, of course. No one can predict what curve ball life may throw at any given moment, but Raquelle tries her hardest with each individual animal to give them the best shot possible. It's a rewarding venture that helps out the four-legged critters of Destiny City.
Virtues:
Tenacious: Raquelle's got a streak of bullheadedness that often helps see her through tough times. There's this dangerous gleam to her eyes that often speaks of the need to power through every obstacle that has been placed in her path. Whether it be the simplest of homework assignments or the complexity of getting a perfect solution worked out for one of her foster animals Raquelle doesn't know the meaning of the word quit. It just isn't in her vocabulary.
Honest/Truthful: Raquelle takes a great deal of pride in being honest. Being around animals as much as she is, she knows that the best approach to dealing with them or the world around her is to be as honest as possible. Words and actions mean nothing if one has disingenuous intent behind them. It's why no matter what Raquelle doesn't sugarcoat anything. If she is responsible for some mishap, she'll own up to it. Being honest can hurt though and Raquelle's learned that lesson often.
Observant: Raquelle's observant. There is that innate sense that people develop to take in everything that is going on around them with a collected coolness and Raquelle has that. Whether it's with her photography, animal fosters or just everyday life there isn't much that goes unnoticed. Whether or not she decides to point out what she is seeing is another matter.
Flaws:
Blunt: Raquelle can easily ruffle feathers in her actions and her words. She can't and won't apologize to those that take any sort of offense to her viewpoint on a subject. You don't like that article she wrote, too bad. Is this an unflattering image of someone? Maybe, but Destiny City needs to see it. Will it cause a controversy? It's entirely possible. Does it bother her at all to get such negative attention ... perhaps. But she's determined to simply push all flack that she gets to the side.
Stubborn: Raquelle was born with a giant chip on her shoulder. If you told her as a child that something couldn't be done then she would set out to prove you wrong, consequences be darned. This stubbornness has only grown since her childhood years and while it helps her out immensely when it comes to dogging the truth behind a story that she's chasing or pushing boundaries (gently) in order to perhaps get a break-through in an animal foster, it often leads her to trouble as well. But it doesn't stop her. Think of a dog that doesn't give up its premium bone without a fight ... that's Raquelle.
Nosy: There are times that Raquelle needs to get the complete picture. It's in these times that her tenacity and observation skills combine, and not always in a good way. Raquelle often sticks her nose into conversations and situations that don't require her presence. As a result, she often comes away with what she wanted to know but leaving ripples of discontent in her wake. She just can't help how she is.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Hair and eye colors cannot change from civilian to powered form, nor can tattoos or piercings. If your character has a tattoo as a civilian it will appear on the powered art, though will have a glamour to prevent people who have seen both from identifying civilian identities. Hairstyles can change between civilian and powered form; only Corrupted Senshi have vastly different hair between civilian and powered forms (their hair grows extensively in length!) Unnatural hair and eye color are perfectly fine, and there is no need to say they use hair dye or wear contacts - your character is free to have been born with blue hair if you want. Genetic heterochromia is allowed, but please consider that this is still considered an oddity in our game environment; you are free to play with it but we encourage players to be considerate of this fact! If your character is intended to have different colored eyes due to injury, please make sure you have done adequate research and include relevant information when you post a quest, or PM the shop mule, The Space Cauldron, for help! Because civilian art isn’t required for play, this part of the form will be helpful in making sure others know how your character appears if you don’t yet have art for them.

Hair: Medium to long length. Raquelle likes it always pulled back into braids of any sort. Original color is a salt & pepper blond, she often gets colored treatments to make her hair stand out.
