One of her New Year’s resolutions was patrolling more. Also training more but the one that she wanted to work on right now was patrolling. Finding the time to be able to go out and spend several hours keeping an eye on the city was a lot harder than she expected. It required shifting a few jobs and tasks to the weekend, altering her part time availability, and just in general making some changes. But it worked. She was able to wrangle a few hours every week to go out and at least pick up some trash in local parks while patrolling. Might as well clean up while she was patrolling!

Thats where that night found her, bundled in her jacket since her uniform wasn’t exactly warm, re-listening to one of her lectures through one earbud, and picking up some forgotten trash from the snow of the fairly large big park that she had chosen to patrol that night.

Polo had been watching this senshi for quite awhile.

Either the poor thing was oblivious or just too into what she was watching on her phone to really pay attention to her surroundings. The corrupted watched with amusement while the senshi picked up trash in the park like the good samaritan that she seemed to be. In fact, she almost felt bad for what she was about to do, but she had a duty and did not want to think about Wither’s mouth should he be displeased. Without much more delay, she walked up behind the senshi and tapped her on the shoulder, placing her hands behind her back afterwards. Her head was tilted while she waited for a reaction, hopefully it wouldn't be one that could potentially get her hurt. It would be a b***h to deal with bruises and what not.

She had gotten so wrapped up in her lecture she had to pull out her phone to absently watch the teacher wave his hands wildly as he explained and randomly snagged another piece of trash when someone tapped her on her shoulder. With a screech Botein leapt forward and whipped around…. Solidly thwacking the tapper with the mostly empty bag of trash.

“Oh my goodness! Oh my goodness! I am so sorry! Are you ok?” The young woman dropped the trash bag and held her hands up in the generally universal ‘I’m unarmed’, with the ‘I’m sorry’ grimace on her face. “Sorry. You scared the bejesus out of me!” It wasn’t a great excuse, true but not the best.

Polo was not expecting trash to the face that much was for sure.

It was a good thing the senshi was immediately sorry, otherwise she would’ve used her powers in retaliation.

“It's quite alright. To be fair I did come up behind you.” She couldn't decide if she wanted to try and drain the girl right away or mess with her a little. “What are you doing out here all alone? Don't you know there's dangerous people out here?” Herself included apparently. But either the girl couldn't tell what she was or really was that naive.

“I really am sorry,” Botein apologized again, feeling bad about practically assaulting the other female… the other… corrupt? The strawberry blonde tilted her head slightly when she FINALLY picked up the aura that was practically radiating from the other senshi. Oh dear. She was weary of the person standing there but Botein had met a few people who were ‘evil’ that weren't all that bad so she wasn’t actively hostile, just a little leery. “Oh, well I figured I might as well pick up trash during my walk.” She explained with a slight shrug, “And I can take care of myself. Besides, one is never really alone if you have a phone.” Botein still wasn’t the best of fighters but she could at least give herself enough time to hit the emergency signal on either her civi phone or her senshi phone. She never had to but there was always a first time for everything.

“You? Why are you out here tonight?” The super turned the question around, curious to see what the other woman would say.

Polo tilted her head coyly, “Me? Do you really want to know?” She gave the girl a smile, order really seems to like them innocent apparently. This worked in the girl's favor because she couldn't see herself draining someone so…Reminding her of a cute puppy? She wasn't trying to be degrading, but that was the best comparison she could come up with. “My name is Polonia…What is yours?” She was sure the girl could tell she was from the negaverse, but figured as long as she didn't attack the cute puppy then she wouldn't try running away or fighting.

Quote:
“Why shouldn’t I?” Botein asked curiously. She knew that they were a member of the negaverse but well, they seemed so nice! She didn’t get mad at all when she got hit with the trash! “Oh! I’m Botein. Nice to meet you Polonia!” The super senshi automatically extended her hand for a greeting before she remembered and slowly retracted it while explaining, “I forgot. Probably shouldn’t just in case you get in trouble. I wouldn’t want that.” Instead the young woman squatted briefly to pick up the trash bag, standing back up after a moment.

“Would you like to join me in cleaning up the park?” She indicated the dark park with the same hand that was now holding the bag with trash in it. Botein didn’t expect a favorable answer but she figured it was worth asking.

Quote:
Oh…Oh this one was soo sooo cute.

Polonia couldn't help herself, she smiled and nodded, “Nice to meet you Boten.” She almost made a face at helping with garbage but decided why not? “Sure~ Give me a bag?” if she told her siblings that she helped an order senshi pick up garbage, she would never hear the end of it. Which means she would not tell them anything at all, least of all her “boss”. The senshi figured that would not end well for her at all, he did not play games and this would be one more time he would just give her the disappointed dad sigh, something she did not want to hear anymore than she usually did. Maybe after this she could go chill with her siblings at their house? Granted they could come to hers but she wasn't sure if their dad would be home and if he was he would want to catch up and she'd rather want to avoid that. The senshi held out her hand with a smile, waiting for the bag to be placed in her hand.

“Certainly!” Botein chirped as she fished another bag out of her pocket and handed it over. “I really wasn’t going to stay too much longer since I have a paper I should be writing tonight as well but… It's quite nice for it being January and all.” She shrugged and walked over to where she spotted some more trash. “Besides, we are doing a good thing by picking up trash in the park.” The super senshi beamed at her new friend as she bagged her little ‘prize’.
